Right-wing media reacted with disbelief and outrage at President Obama's post-election speech, in which he said he intends to cooperate with Republicans -- despite Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell making the same claim earlier the same day.

Obama, McConnell Pledge To Work Together Following Midterm Election. In November 5 speeches, both Obama and McConnell, who is likely to become Senate majority leader, declared their intent for the GOP and Democrats to work together. From The New York Times:


President Obama on Wednesday said he had heard the message voters sent on Election Day and was ready to work with Republicans who dealt his party devastating losses. Even so, he promised to go forward with unilateral action on immigration despite strong Republican opposition.

I am all in with GOPTP SNAP is gone SS Medicare is going to be privatized there already talking about it. The GOPTP is already talking about international trade deals that will be great for out sourcing. Lower the corporate tax rates and keep loopholes in place this will create jobs I am all in . They want the NLRB,EPA, FDA gone they already have a bills passed in the house to get rid of them this will create jobs. Also they have a bill already passed by the house to abolish Medicaid I am convinced now with the vote from yesterday that these are all great ideas to move this country forward. That min wage has to go the corporate elite will set the payroll standard in this country. You were right on that issue.

There also talking about ramping up to eliminate Syria and Iran this is another great idea because with all the high paying jobs created by abolishing government we will have the money to kill all the Muslims in this world before they kill us.

If Obama does not sign these bills there talking impeachment as they should the American people have spoken and I believe in the American people and there judgement.

They also have bills passed in the house and awaiting Mitch to take over to gut education which is a great idea this will work. Pell grants gone already passed in the house just need Mitch to bring it to floor of the senate let these kids find there own way to pay for college. As Mitt says borrow that money from your parents. They have a bill ready to go to add back 15% into the defense budget this is going to be needed we need to stamp out Syria and Iran.

McConnell will let Obama run roughshod over him if we allow him to. Just listening to part of what he had to say, and then listening to what Obama said before I got too sick to handle any more of his usual BS is proof to me that we must not give McConnell any free rein to make any deals with Obama. Has people forgotten that it was McConnell that helped sell Ted Cruz out after he had spent so many hours fighting the funding of Obamacare? And now he stated in his speech and questioning after that he was planning to work with the Democrats whereas the Democrats did everything possible to thwart everything Republicans tried to do to cut unemployment. Out of over 350 bills submitted to the Senate, there was not one that was even voted on by the Senate. They were all shelved without being voted on. So now RINO McConnell is saying he will "work" with Democrats? After listening to part of Obama's BS I felt that he was merely telling McConnell what he expected him to do and he would accept nothing else. So I believe we must keep a close watch on McConnell's actions in the future to thwart any more deals with the crooked Democrats. We have made great progress in taking back the Senate and boosting the House so greatly to allow "Old Tortoise Neck" to sell us out.
