When they get to high school I would fill their minds with the theory of evolution. Once they get to college I would complete their education by making them good little Marxists. A few manage to escape, but no worries. Most of them stay. Their destruction so easy. They believe that they are masters of their own fate, but they are mine. They argue with my own voice, my own words, and they don't even know it. The poor fools. I pull their strings and they dance like good little puppets.

Yep. If I was the Devil, that is exactly what I'd do. So my question to you is this. Why don't you believe in God? Is it because you actually took a good look at the evidence and rejected it? Or is it what you've been told all your life? Perhaps it's time to re-evaluate what you believe.

Good post Boombastic. People want proof that God is real, but God want you to believe simply because He told us that He is God. If they look at nature they will see that nature declares the Glory of God. Besides they cannot produce one evidence that there is not a God. To God be thee Glory!

Article 1, Section 7, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution says: All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, may propose or concur with amendments as on other bills.

Do you remember how the ACA, (Obamacare) was passed? Wasn't it Nancy Pelosi who stated that the House needed to approve the bill so they could find out what was in it? I so well remember her saying just that before every Democrat in the House voted for the law. Having been originated in the Senate the bill was as unconstitutional as any other that has ever been attempted. Chief Justice said in a Supreme Court decision that the "law" was actually a tax law since he found 21, or so, new taxes provided for in it. I will always believe that he set the thing up for another Court case when he said that and I still blame Republicans for not using his decision to blow that thing away. He wrote everything needed to do this when he wrote the majority opinion that left leaning judges wanted to write.

Do you all understand that Article 1, Section 7, Clause 1 was obeyed in the recent attempt to get rid of an unconstitutional law? At least it was passed according to what the Constitution orders. Is this a part of Democrat desire to kill that part of the Constitution? They do operate like that and it makes me wonder about them. At least the new law, AHCA, can't be called unconstitutional for the same reason that Obamacare certainly was. I keep wondering when this part of this law will be discussed by the left leaning media, or for that matter, Fox News.
Article 1, Section 7, Clause 1 of the United State... (show quote)

If you remember the bill passed that allowed the Bush administration to start the bailing out of the financial crisis in 2007, was voted down by the house. The senate crafted a bill that they passed and sent to the house which was passed. This I thought was unconstitutional since all revenue bills had to originate in the house. I wrote a law teacher who explained that what the senate does is keep a bill on file that they did not vote on. They then pull it out, add what they want to and pass it. This bill originally started in the house but the senate has the power to add to or delete from the bill. That's the reason that I think that every bill needs to stand on it on merit. They need to vote on all bills not keep them in a file for later use at there convince.

What if our belief in self-government is a belief in a myth? What if the election of one political party over the other to control Congress changes only appearances? What if taxes stay high and regulations stay pervasive and the government stays oppressive and presidents fight wars no matter what the politicians promise and no matter who wins elections? What if the true goal of those whom we elect to Congress is not to be our agents of self-government or even to preserve our personal liberties but to remain in power by getting re-elected?

What if they use government to aid their own re-elections by bribing us with our own money — the rich with bailouts, the middle class with tax breaks and the poor with transfer payments?

What if Congress has written laws that are too complex for its own members to read and understand? What if the language of most federal laws is intentionally arcane so that ordinary voters cannot understand it? What if that language is actually written by faceless bureaucrats and not by accountable members of Congress? What if members of Congress in fact rarely read any legislation before voting on it? What if some legislation refers to secrets and secret procedures that only a few members of Congress are permitted to see and utilize?

What if when the select few members of Congress who are permitted to see those secrets do see them, those members are themselves sworn to secrecy? What if that means that our elected representatives — our supposed agents of self-government in the government — do not fully know what the government is doing and that even if they do, they can’t legally tell us?

What if our representatives in Congress don’t really represent us? What if they really represent a political party? What if each political party is controlled by a small leadership group that punishes members who defy it? What if Congress has written laws and rules that permit its leaders to punish members’ defiance? What if another way to characterize defiance of political party leadership is political courage?

What if the laws that Congress has written about the CIA have delegated congressional power to a small secret committee of members from both houses of Congress and both political parties? What if that committee can authorize secret wars in foreign lands conducted not by the military but by the CIA? What if the reason these folks authorize the CIA and not the military to conduct secret wars is the existence of federal laws that require reporting to and a vote of the entire Congress for the military to be used but require only the small secret committee to approve for the CIA to be used?

Because wars cost money and often cost lives, what if the effect of the decisions of the small secret committee is that the committee is basically a Congress within Congress? What if the Constitution says that only Congress can spend tax dollars and declare wars but Congress has let the Congress within Congress do this? What if the voters will never know what the Congress within Congress has authorized? What if the very existence of the Congress within Congress mocks, defies and betrays the concept of American self-government?

What if the data seen and discussed and the decisions made in secret by the Congress within Congress are generated by the CIA and other intelligence agencies? What if these intelligence agencies selectively reveal and selectively conceal data to manipulate the decisions of the Congress within Congress? What if those manipulations often result in bloodshed about which the American people often never learn? What if the bases for the decisions of the Congress within Congress are kept from the other members of Congress, from the media and from the voters?

What if the folks from both political parties who set up the Congress within Congress care more about wielding power than they do about preserving self-government? What if those who pull the levers of power in the intelligence community are so far removed from the voters that they don’t know and don’t care what the voters think? What if they know that the voters would react forcefully and decisively if the voters knew what the members of the Congress within Congress know but they still won’t tell us?

What if all this diversion of power from the elected Congress to the Congress within Congress and all this reliance on secret data has resulted in the most pervasive surveillance by any government of any people at any time in world history? What if the federal government’s domestic surveillance today captures and retains digital copies of every telephone call and every computer keystroke of every person in America and has done so since 2005? What if members of Congress who are not in the Congress within Congress do not know this?

What if the Congress within Congress has authorized American spies to spy without personal suspicion or judicial warrant on the military, the courts, the police and every person in America, including the remaining members of Congress, much of the remaining intelligence community itself and even the White House?

What if the selective use of the data acquired from mass surveillance can be used to manipulate anyone by those who have access to the data? What if those who have access to the data have used it to manipulate the president of the United States? What if all this constitutes a grave but largely unseen threat to our liberties, not the least of which is the right to self-government?

What if we don’t really govern ourselves? What do we do about it?

BREAKING: Rush Limbaugh Comes Forward With Dirt on Paul Ryan. FIRE RYAN NOW!

By Angry Patriot Posted April 18, 2017

President Trump and the establishment politicians within the Republican party are facing off, and Paul Ryan is in the crosshairs.

In a recent radio segment, Rush Limbaugh explained the civil war being fought inside the Republican party between President Trump and Paul Ryan. Trump ran on a full repeal and replacement of Obamacare, and Paul Ryan is trying to blame Trump for his failure to produce an alternative. (via Rush Limbaugh

Paul Ryan is the leader of the establishment within the Republican party, and the establishment is dedicated to the downfall of President Trump. The establishment is terrified of Trump because he is a political outsider.

The capitol has cultivated a culture that despises the outsiders. The establishment wants to dominate the political landscape, and they cannot allow outsiders to encroach on their territory

Washington is full of backdoor deals, and the elite politicians are worried that their secrets will be revealed. They want to keep the machinery of government and all its corruption hidden from We the People.

President Trump and all of the members of the Republican party were elected for their promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. As the Speaker of the House, it is Paul Ryan’s job to fulfill th<script id="gpt-impl-0.490966796875" src="https://securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/gpt/pubads_impl_114.js"></script>e will of the people. However, despite eight years of preparation, he has not provided a solution
Paul Ryan never intended to repeal Obamacare, and the best he could muster is a ‘lite’ version of the terrible policy. Ryan failed miserably, but he is trying to blame President Trump for his failure.

But President Trump continues to be the master of media manipulation. By offering public support for Paul Ryan he was able to bring attention to the terrible healthcare bill while firmly attaching it to Paul Ryan. It has since been dubbed Ryancare.

President Trump has proven his commitment to the will of the people. He is more responsive to us than anyone in the Republican party. President Trump was able to soundly defeat Hillary Clinton despite the fact that she rigged the election in her favor

The establishment politicians within our party are almost as despicable as the Democrats – they do not represent us. They have become accustomed to the corruption of Washington and are only looking out for themselves.

Paul Ryan is the leader of the corrupt and he cannot be trusted to remain in office. There are better representatives of conservative values to choose from.

The battle to drain the swamp cannot be won solely by electing Trump. We need to watch closely over the next two years to see who is with us and who is no

Right on Don. I determined years ago that the republicans and the demon-crates were the same, they just had different folks they wanted to help to the fed feed bag. They only care about being in power so there the first in line for the fed. Feed bag. The only solution is for the American people to rise up off there comfortable seat and make there voice and will heard.

There are those who believe in God, and those who believe that the universe does not require a Creator. Here is a simple scientific fact that might clear things up a bit. Scientists agree that nothing physical can create itself. Every bit of scientific data we possess backs up this statement. So if the universe cannot create itself, it must have been created. Makes perfect sense to me.

Now you might ask 'who created God?" Well, God is not physical. So there you have it.

Walter Williams: 'Immoral and Dishonest’ for a Professor to Use One's Classroom to Push Their Beliefs

After receiving the 2017 Bradley Prize in Washington, D.C., on April 6, economist and George Mason University Professor Walter Williams touched on college education, saying using one’s classroom to push their personal beliefs is “both immoral and dishonest.”

Professor Williams also said that it was a “cowardly act to take advantage of student immaturity by indoctrinating them with the professor’s opinions before the student has developed the maturity and skill to examine other opinions.”

Below is a transcript of Walter Williams’s remarks:

“This year completes my 50th year of teaching – I know I don’t look like it, but it’s 50 years – and my 36th year of teaching at George Mason University.

“Academia is not what it was in 1967 when I thought my first class at Los Angeles City College. Many professors, particularly those on the socialistic side of the political spectrum, use their classrooms to proselytize students. While professorial proselytization is common and accepted at most universities, I believe that to use one’s classroom to push one’s personal beliefs is both immoral and dishonest.

“Like others, I have my own values and opinions. Such as those that are expressed in my nationally syndicated column and many of my radio and television appearances. But they never become a part of my classroom discussion. In fact, I tell my students that if they hear me say something that is subjective without first having prefaced it with in my opinion – and I tell them that when I say in my opinion, they can stop taking notes – they are to raise their hand and tell me that they took my class to learn economics not to be indoctrinated by my values.

“It is a cowardly act to take advantage of student immaturity by indoctrinating them with the professor’s opinions before the student has developed the maturity and skill to examine other opinions.”
