President Trump and the establishment politicians within the Republican party are facing off, and Paul Ryan is in the crosshairs.
In a recent radio segment, Rush Limbaugh explained the civil war being fought inside the Republican party between President Trump and Paul Ryan. Trump ran on a full repeal and replacement of Obamacare, and Paul Ryan is trying to blame Trump for his failure to produce an alternative. (via Rush Limbaugh)
Paul Ryan is the leader of the establishment within the Republican party, and the establishment is dedicated to the downfall of President Trump. The establishment is terrified of Trump because he is a political outsider.
The capitol has cultivated a culture that despises the outsiders. The establishment wants to dominate the political landscape, and they cannot allow outsiders to encroach on their territory.
Washington is full of backdoor deals, and the elite politicians are worried that their secrets will be revealed. They want to keep the machinery of government and all its corruption hidden from We the People.
President Trump and all of the members of the Republican party were elected for their promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. As the Speaker of the House, it is Paul Ryan’s job to fulfill the will of the people. However, despite eight years of preparation, he has not provided a solution.
Paul Ryan never intended to repeal Obamacare, and the best he could muster is a ‘lite’ version of the terrible policy. Ryan failed miserably, but he is trying to blame President Trump for his failure.
But President Trump continues to be the master of media manipulation. By offering public support for Paul Ryan he was able to bring attention to the terrible healthcare bill while firmly attaching it to Paul Ryan. It has since been dubbed Ryancare.
President Trump has proven his commitment to the will of the people. He is more responsive to us than anyone in the Republican party. President Trump was able to soundly defeat Hillary Clinton despite the fact that she rigged the election in her favor.
The establishment politicians within our party are almost as despicable as the Democrats – they do not represent us. They have become accustomed to the corruption of Washington and are only looking out for themselves.
Paul Ryan is the leader of the corrupt and he cannot be trusted to remain in office. There are better representatives of conservative values to choose from.
The battle to drain the swamp cannot be won solely by electing Trump. We need to watch closely over the next two years to see who is with us and who is not.

Ryan showed his true backbone, or lack there of over this issue. It was easy to beat your chest and send a repeal bill to the president when you knew he would veto it. As Jim Jordan said, why not just send Trump the bill we sent Obama? I know why they became wishy-washy on the repeal. They couldn't figure out how to reduce premiums and keep pre-existing conditions covered even though they've had eight years to do it. The only reason I vote Republican is because they are just a tad slower at ruining the middle class than the Democrats.

Thief crook liar corrupt, are all spelled "POLITICIAN" - - If we want to drain the swamp we need to vote out every single man/women in office. We can keep the same party in power if we want to by selecting a new person to represent that party in the primary vote. Then we make those new people put a limit on the amount of time they can serve. And put into effect a law that they get only social security as retirement, not those life long pensions they get now. When we take away the prize we now give them for "holding office" maybe we'll get people that just want to serve their country. It's worth a try, God knows it's not working now.

Right on Don. I determined years ago that the republicans and the demon-crates were the same, they just had different folks they wanted to help to the fed feed bag. They only care about being in power so there the first in line for the fed. Feed bag. The only solution is for the American people to rise up off there comfortable seat and make there voice and will heard.

Ryan voted for TPA, the horrific jobs-killing NAFTA-type trade bill--also called Obamatrade. He voted for Country of Origin Labeling Amendments Act, which repealed the requirements for Country of Origin labeling (which keeps Americans in the dark about where their food is coming from) and ceded authority over food-related regulations to the World Trade Authority (WTO).
Ryan voted for the National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement Act (NCPA). Rep. Justin Amash (R-Michigan) rightly warned, “These bills violate the Fourth Amendment, override privacy laws, and give the government unwarranted access to the personal information of potentially millions of Americans.”
Paul Ryan voted against a bill that would have prevented U.S. taxpayer dollars from being given to “Syrian rebels.” Those Syrian rebels, of course, are ISIS terrorists. Ryan is simply another warmongering neocon like Dick Cheney, John Boehner, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain.
Ryan voted against a bill that would have prevented the further militarization of our local and State police agencies by prohibiting the U.S. military from supplying local police departments with combat military equipment, such as drones, armored vehicles, grenade launchers, and bombs. These military utensils are more fitted for the military occupation of a hostile territory--which apparently is the way Paul Ryan and his fellow liberal/neocons in Washington, D.C., must view the American homeland.
Paul Ryan voted against an amendment that would have prevented the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens. “Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) introduced an amendment to prohibit the indefinite military detention of any person detained under the Authorization for the Use of Military Force authority in the United States, its territories, or possessions by providing immediate transfer to a trial and proceedings by a court. It also would strike language that would provide for mandatory military custody of covered parties."
