I am so sick of this bleeding heart liberal crap about DACA. As a life long "TRUE" Christian, it is not the United States responsibility to save the world. That's the job of my savior Jesus. With the announcement that President Trump is winding down Obama’s amnesty program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), the media is once again leading the “resistance” to this policy change with their biased coverage against it.
The MSM is already rallying to the cause and featuring the sob stories of some of the people who could be affected in the most sympathetic light while portraying anyone against DACA as evil and inhumane. It is all meant to tug on the heartstrings and get Americans all riled up to pressure Congress to extend DACA.
Don’t be fooled! The DACA picture is not all valedictorians on track to become brain surgeons while riding unicorns on rainbows like they want you to believe on TV.
In fact, it was just reported a week ago that revocation of DACA status due to criminal and gang activity has gone up 30% under President Trump. That’s thousands of people who were approved under President Obama and shouldn’t have even been in the country.
According to USCIS, “Most DACA terminations were based on the following infractions (not ranked): alien smuggling, assaultive offenses, domestic violence, drug offenses, DUI, larceny and thefts, criminal trespass and burglary, sexual offenses with minors, other sex offenses and weapons offenses.”
There are some horrific examples of DREAMers turning into nightmares. Here are 5 DREAMers who have been charged with or convicted of committing heinous acts that the media doesn’t want to talk about.
Three come from the Daily Caller.

Second is Oliver Funes-Machado, who was charged with – I still can’t believe this – “beheading his own mother” back in March. Originally from Honduras, Funes-Machado had DACA status at the time of the crime.
Third is Emmanual Jesus Rangel-Hernandez, who received DACA status despite having drug charges and known gang affiliation. Afterwards, he was charged with four counts of murder.

Mr. Covarrubias-Padilla applied for and was granted DACA. It gets worse. According to Senator Grassley, last January Francisco Rios-Covarrubias was charged for the alleged sex trafficking of a 3-yr-old girl in Arizona. Rios-Covarrubias allegedly “duct-taped the girl’s mouth, hands, arms and legs, and confined her to a closet, where she was found covered in human feces.” The police thankfully rescued her. Rios-Covarrubias was eventually charged with four felonies, including “kidnapping, sexual conduct with a minor, felony child abuse, and sex trafficking.”
Rios-Covarrubias was a DACA beneficiary.

The Red Cross has been around for many years, but as a retired VET, I can promise you they are not all they claim to be. You will find them located on just about every base especially overseas. In these places, they will run their business as a prophet. As the article implies, do your homework and be careful. In my mind, at least all charities should be giving 85 to 90%.

NPR pointed out that according to a 2016 study released by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, the Red Cross bungled its response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake, wasting at least a quarter of donations on internal expenses alone.
Meanwhile, a 2015 investigation by ProPublica revealed that though the Red Cross claimed to have built 130,000 homes in Haiti with the half a billion dollars it raised, the humanitarian organization only built six.
“Confidential memos, emails from worried top officers, and accounts of a dozen frustrated and disappointed insiders show the charity has broken promises, squandered donations, and made dubious claims of success,” ProPublica reported.
The Red Cross also reportedly mishandled its response to the 2015 California wildfires, “showing up unequipped and unprepared, shutting down other volunteer operations, and then failing to provide promised food or shelter on its own,” according to Slate.

Similar mishaps were reported to have occurred after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy.
During an appearance Wednesday on NPR’s Morning Edition, Red Cross executive Brad Kieserman only added to the concerns by refusing to specify what percentage of each dollar donated to the organization goes to relief efforts.
“Yeah, I don’t think I know the answer to that any better than the chief fundraiser knows how many, how much it costs to put a volunteer downrange for a week and how many emergency response vehicles I have on the road today,” he told host Ailsa Chang.
When pressed by Chang about reports Red Cross spent only 25 percent of donated funds during the Haiti crisis, Kieserman continued to deflect, claiming he lacks “visibility” vis-à-vis the organization’s finances.

A liberal news outlet waited just four months before a federal agency gave it more than 1,000 pages of a Republican’s emails, while conservative groups’ requests have been ignored for years, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group.
Records show the Federal Election Commission (FEC) reviewed more than 4,400 pages of emails related to a Freedom Information Act (FOIA) request filed by Andy Kroll, a reporter with the liberal news outlet Mother Jones. Kroll sought all emails Don McGahn sent between July 2008 through September 2013 while he was an FEC commissioner.

The FEC received Kroll’s request Jan. 30, 2017, and released more than 1,000 pages of McGahn’s emails in June. McGahn became White House counsel 10 days before the request was received.
FOIA requestors can ask for priority handling for particular newsworthy or time-sensitive documents, but Kroll did not ask for such treatment, records show. He did not receive the records in time for use in an April article and has not published any stories using information from this FOIA request, the Mother Jones Washington Bureau Chief told TheDCNF.
Meanwhile, the FEC hasn’t released records related to 17 FOIA requests filed more than three years ago, many of which were submitted by conservative groups, including some seeking documents on taxpayer- and foreign-funded travel by Democratic commissioners.
The National Republican Lawyers Association, for example, filed the oldest outstanding request six years ago, seeking correspondence between the Democratic FEC commissioners and outside groups.
Additionally, conservative group or officials with such organizations filed eight of the 10 next oldest outstanding FOIA requests, all of which are more than four years old. The Government Accountability Institute filed five of those, and Judicial Watch and American Center for Law & Justice officials each filed one.
Bill McGinley, the present White House cabinet secretary, filed one in July 2013 while working at the law firm Patton Boggs.
The descriptions in the FEC’s FOIA log were typically too vague to determine how complex those requests are. More recent requests, however, are more clear.
A Fox News FOIA request sought records on FEC commissioners’ travel, while The Wall Street Journal requested travel documents for just one official over for a less-than-two-year period. Both were requested in 2015.
More recently, Rudy Takala – an editor with The Hill who was a Washington Examiner reporter at the time – has only received some documents in response to an October 2016 FOIA request. He asked for a number of documents, including a list of the staff who went to either the Republican or Democratic national conventions, which he still hasn’t received.
Cause of Action Institute filed a lawsuit against the FEC for records on Takala’s behalf on Aug. 23. Similarly, the Center for Public Integrity has sued the FEC three times in two years for failing to comply with FOIA requests.
“The FEC has not been able to provide me with a handful of receipts from commissioners who attended the presidential nominating conventions more than a year ago, but it was able to review more than 4,400 of Don McGahn’s emails within a matter of months,” Takala told TheDCNF. “It’s hard to think of any credible way to explain that discrepancy. A reasonable person could certainly be led to believe that the agency is responding to FOIA requests selectively.”
The FEC did quickly provide TheDCNF with records cited in this story. The requests, however, sought two specific documents amounting to 17 pages.
“We don’t comment on matters that could be connected with pending litigation,” FEC spokeswoman Judith Ingram told TheDCNF.

After all, they truly are what they claim to oppose. The intentions they claim to have don't matter - their actions do. Once you realize that everyone to the political right of Joseph Stalin is designated a "Nazi" to the kooks in Antifa, you realize that nobody is safe. After all, they donât seem to have trouble attacking anyone who isnât part of their group.

I am truly amazed when I see an article like this. I am 74 and I have bee stating these same concerns since I was a young man. I am not a passive Christian, as many are today, and I have always stood up for my faith and I don't 'hold' my tongue. My Savior, Jesus, was NOT a passive man and he stood tall against everything bad in his day. He never hilt his tongue either. If we, as TRUE Christians don't stand, we are finished. Remember, as the article states, "FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD"!
Around 1900, progressives set out to change America from the free republic it was originally established as into a socialist nation where an elite class of people would be able to suppress and control the entire population. They knew that the American people would reject their ideology and attempts at that time. There were several obstacles that had to be overcome in order to make their plan work. They had to find a way to undermine and remove the two strongest obstacles – the strong Christian foundation and the strong family structure. At that time, the progressives understood that it would have be a slow and steady erosion of those foundations and agreed that it would probably take at least 100 years to accomplish.
One of their first objectives was take over the public education of America’s kids, and even that had to be a slow and steady process. They knew that if they had control of your kids for 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9 months a year for 12 years, that they could pretty much mold your kids into being the way they wanted them to be, not the way parents wanted them to be.
Take a look at today’s public-school system and you will see that they have succeeded in that task. Today’s schools teach there is no God and you don’t have to listen or obey your parents. They are taught that they only person they need to worry about is themselves and they are accountable to no one except the government.
Progressives have been using the public education system to undermine the family structure that once helped to make America strong. Pastor John MacArthur touched on this in his response to a question about Charlottesville. He stated:
“God put fathers and mothers in a family to bring a rod to discipline people in order to subdue their evil. If the family is destroyed and the family breaks down, then you have no control over those people. So, conscience can’t function because the moral law has been literally destroyed; families don’t function so there is no discipline learned, there is no sense of what is right, what is acceptable behavior.”
A post out of Australia also speaks about the breakdown of the family unit and how same-sex marriage laws are helping to destroy the family structure and lead to the decay of a nation. Even though the post deals with what is happening in Australia, it also applies to what has and is happening here in the United States. That post states:
“Some people, like the Liberal Party’s federal president Nick Greiner, don’t think we should be allowed to discuss the consequences to freedom of speech and for what children are taught about sex and gender at school.”
“They say talking about radical LGBTIQ sex education, which has become compulsory in countries that have redefined marriage, is conflating the issue.”
‘But being told you can’t talk about consequences of redefining marriage is a bit like trying to have a debate about renewable energy targets and not being allowed to talk about the impact on electricity prices.”
“The intellectual gymnastics required and the leave pass from normal scrutiny the same-sex marriage political agenda enjoys never ceases to amaze me.”
“If ever we wanted proof that freedom of speech is at risk by the same-sex marriage political movement, it is in us being continually told what we are not allowed to talk about in the debate…”
“Under same-sex marriage the state will be obliged to lift the prohibition on commercial surrogacy so two “gay married” men can acquire babies. It will be obliged to ensure sperm donor anonymity in defiance of the rights of the child to know the identity and love of their father.”
“Again, intellectual gymnastics are required to gloss over inconvenient truths in this debate.”
Thanks to Barack Obama and the Democrats, much of the agenda set forth to change America over 100 years ago has come to fruition in the past 8 years, and legalizing and legitimizing same-sex marriage is playing a key role in that conversion.
As long as more and more Americans turn their back on God and His statutes, including marriage between one man and one woman, America will continue to slide into the abyss of socialism and the loss of everything good, wholesome and moral we once knew.

They had to find a way to undermine and remove the two strongest obstacles – the strong Christian foundation and the strong family structure. At that time, the progressives understood that it would have be a slow and steady erosion of those foundations and agreed that it would probably take at least 100 years to accomplish.
One of their first objectives was take over the public education of America’s kids, and even that had to be a slow and steady process. They knew that if they had control of your kids for 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9 months a year for 12 years, that they could pretty much mold your kids into being the way they wanted them to be, not the way parents wanted them to be.
Take a look at today’s public-school system and you will see that they have succeeded in that task. Today’s schools teach there is no God and you don’t have to listen or obey your parents. They are taught that they only person they need to worry about is themselves and they are accountable to no one except the government.
Progressives have been using the public education system to undermine the family structure that once helped to make America strong. Pastor John MacArthur touched on this in his response to a question about Charlottesville. He stated:
“God put fathers and mothers in a family to bring a rod to discipline people in order to subdue their evil. If the family is destroyed and the family breaks down, then you have no control over those people. So, conscience can’t function because the moral law has been literally destroyed; families don’t function so there is no discipline learned, there is no sense of what is right, what is acceptable behavior.”
A post out of Australia also speaks about the breakdown of the family unit and how same-sex marriage laws are helping to destroy the family structure and lead to the decay of a nation. Even though the post deals with what is happening in Australia, it also applies to what has and is happening here in the United States. That post states:

“If ever we wanted proof that freedom of speech is at risk by the same-sex marriage political movement, it is in us being continually told what we are not allowed to talk about in the debate…”
“Under same-sex marriage the state will be obliged to lift the prohibition on commercial surrogacy so two “gay married” men can acquire babies. It will be obliged to ensure sperm donor anonymity in defiance of the rights of the child to know the identity and love of their father.”
“Again, intellectual gymnastics are required to gloss over inconvenient truths in this debate.”
Thanks to Barack Obama and the Democrats, much of the agenda set forth to change America over 100 years ago has come to fruition in the past 8 years, and legalizing and legitimizing same-sex marriage is playing a key role in that conversion.
As long as more and more Americans turn their back on God and His statutes, including marriage between one man and one woman, America will continue to slide into the abyss of socialism and the loss of everything good, wholesome and moral we once knew.

The $10.2 million Reproductive Health Equity Act includes $500,000 for abortions for the estimated 22,873 women who would be eligible for the Oregon Health Plan, the state’s Medicaid program, “except for their immigration status.”
Under the first-of-its-kind law, most of which goes into effect immediately, Oregon insurers must provide 100 percent coverage for abortions without co-pays or deductibles.
Those covered by Providence Health Care, a nonprofit Catholic health care provider, and the only Oregon insurance company that does not cover abortions, will have expenses reimbursed by the state.
Unsurprisingly, members of the pro-abortion movement praised the law:
Of course, Planned Parenthood helped draw up the bill; and, in effect, the law is nothing more than a government bailout for the organization. Four Oregon Planned Parenthood facilities have shut down in recent years due to a 15 percent decrease in abortions from 2011 to 2014. Nationally, Planned Parenthood client visits have declined from 3 million to 2.4 million.
The fact that Planned Parenthood clinics are shuttering across the country due to a drop in abortions certainly calls into question the liberal talking point that Planned Parenthood provides so much more than abortions.
But Gayle Attenberry, the executive director of Oregon Right to Life, said Oregon’s new law is sure to increase the abortion rate:
“Oregon taxpayers already cover nearly 50 percent of all abortions in the state whether they like it or not,” said Ms. Atteberry. “By making abortion free, this percentage will inevitably increase. We also expect more late-term abortions, which are currently very expensive as well as risky to perform. All completely covered by either insurance companies or by the Oregon taxpayers.”
Just disgusting.
If pro-abortion advocates want to donate a portion of their paychecks to help women abort their babies, that’s their decision. But the government – state or federal – should not force pro-life taxpayers to surrender their money to fund something to which they are morally opposed. As Republican state Rep. Bill Post wrote on Facebook, “Oregon should be ashamed and embarrassed.”
