I'm afraid I have to disagree. I am talking mainly about the leadership of both parties. The Republican party has not grown into a radical party. That would be the Democrat party, (of which I was a member for 19 years, until it became obvious that it was changing into the socialist party and worse.) What the Republican party has done is show a rank cowardism and refusal to stand up for the principles they claim to embrace. The Democrats on the other hand have become a corrupt, power hungry, and actually anti-American party. When I listen to what Democrats have to say about America it sounds remarkably like what our enemies say. And the Republicans have turned a blind eye and allowed corruption to go on unchallenged. There is nothing very radical about that. But just about every policy the Democrats promote is radical, and the view the Democrats have of the Constitution is that it is an obstacle to overcome. And the Republicans have stood back and refused to defend it. But one of the biggest problems this country faces is a corrupted media that collaborates with the Democrat party, and consequently has misinformed, refused to inform, defended, excused, covered for and outright lied to protect that one party's agenda, instead of being free and fair. It is because there has been zero accountability for those on the left, that a lot of the American public has become completely fed up. And in different ways both Democrats and Republicans are to blame for the sorry state we find ourselves in
