In 1986, the San Diego Border Patrol sector accounted for approximately one-third of all apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico border. Today, it accounts for only a small fraction.
How did the region go from one of the busiest sectors for illegal border crossings to one of the most secure? In our latest edition of “Underreported,” The Daily Signal visits the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego to find out.

was able to watch it thanks and I wish they would show this on tv so everyone could see it.Wonder if fox would show it?
I watched the video. I remember going to San Diego in 1989 for a major event. We were to be bussed around the area, both south, east and west of the metro area. We were all advised to bring our I. D everywhere we went because Immigration could stop a bus load at any time and actually apprehend you if you didn't have your U. S. I. D.
Yes to extending the border wall. It doesn't have to be built in a year, but we need a start on designs and installation even if it takes 10 years. I like the idea of confiscation of drug funds as Senator Cruz and a few others are trying to pass in the Senate, to get started. And it would in a sense be funded by Mexican drug money.
cheers

I read here on OPP someone suggested a great idea. They said that Western Union charges 5% to send money from the U.S. to Mexico. We could have Mexico pay for the wall if the Congress imposed an additional 2% charge on money sent to Mexico. Add this to the Ted Cruz suggestion and Mexico pays for the wall. Win, win.

Thats right they dont pay taxes here but that sure would take care of that and help pay for the wall. While their at it could build a wall cutting off california let mexico have it back charge inport fee for what ever they want to sell to USA since they dont want to be part of this horrible country
