Makes you sick, don't it? They'll say the most egregiously wrong things then go run behind the first amendment for cover. The same first amendment that those being maligned fought and died to maintain. Makes me wonder if those brave soldiers would do it all over again knowing what they know now. If it was all worth it.

Good point. The test doesn't ask for a racial profile, just dives straight into the questions. Asking for a racial profile and weighting the scores in favor of 'privilege' for a white guy would make sense to further their agenda, would it not? Or even just awarding 100% outright for whites because of their obvious 'white privilege' regardless of their actual responses. And what if a black guy takes the test and scores fairly high? Aha! Maybe that's why they don't ask for a racial profile, because it might expose the 'white privilege' in blacks, and that would never do! That would be a terrible blow because 'black lives matter'. Looks like they 'screwed the pooch' on that one.

Redlining
"In the United States, redlining is the practice of denying services, either directly or through selectively raising prices, to residents of certain areas based on the racial or ethnic makeups of those areas". So what? If you own a business you are within your rights to refuse to do business with anyone for any reason, or no reason at all. All you're doing is hurting your own business by refusing to do business. People like that don't tend to stay in business very long, because they too have bills to pay.

I am having trouble seeing what 'redlining' has to do with 'white privilege' though. 'Redlining is "based on the racial or ethnic makeups", not the 'whiteness' of the people involved. I'm confused...

It does seem that there might be something of a correlation between hurricane (or disaster in general) preparedness and political leadership. Could it be that States ran by Democrat legislatures are just not so well prepared for the inevitable? Bear in mind, if you live in the southern United States, the Eastern Seaboard or anywhere in the Caribbean, you are guaranteed to see a hurricane at some point. Maybe they just get more of them and don't have time in the interim to replenish stocks before the next one hits? Maybe they need to elect a Republican legislature so there won't be as many. God works in mysterious ways.....
