So why does it hurt someone to be called a name such as Redskins, Yankees, Southerners, Redbacks, et al... I will never understand why it hurts them... These names they are giving to teams are a compliment as STRONG and in charge... that should be a compliment that someone would emulate them in this manner... not take offense to it.
Now.. those words said to me were meant to be offensive... but they still didn't hurt me or even make me mad... cause when said.. I only laugh.... cause they are lacking in their vocabulary as what to say to get under your skin... When we allow someone to say words as such in anger... they have accomplished what they set out to do... that is to make you mad... and their main objective was accomplished...
