They have gotten a CEO fired, a TV star forced out of his own show, two brothers to loose a lucrative TV contract for a home repair show, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Changes in the perception of homosexuals in churches throughout the world, reformatted the entire educational system in Western Countries and made Christians afraid to speak out in public, or perform their jobs using Christian references. They say Jesus was a penetrated male, the bottom male in a homosexual act with God. Those people who view this claim as perverse and obscene are just making hateful "Homophobic judgements"

They also claim that this act indicates Jesus approved of homosexual marriage as these two were "lovers" rather than master and servant.
Sadly, the homosexual reading of scripture seems to be unable to understand the extraordinarily close, non sexual relationship that two men or two women can have. Instead the gay reading of scripture insists that these words of David eulogizing Jonathan must be interpreted in sexual terms.

Personally, I believe that we must keep putting the information about the activists and what they are doing out there in public, so that as many people as possible can see it and at least thing about it. Just who are the people guilty of hate speech? I don't believe it is the Christians..

Much of the country, especially the up and coming young millenials do not want to guide their lives by middle eastern goat-herder fairy tales.

While heterosexual and homosexual bible thumpers argue about whose fairy tales make more sense, young, not-so-gullible Americans have left the building.

I can't speak to the Christian position on homosexuality. However in my faith it is considered wrong and is not accepted. I have taught my child and grandchildren this life style is unacceptable to our God. Of course it is their choice to follow or not to follow our faith. It would be impossible to be gay and a member of our faith. I doubt seriously any homosexual couple would be comfortable in our temple.

I do not hold hate for the gay community. I would not back laws interfering with consenting adults right to privacy. I will continue to teach the children in my family this life style is wrong in the eyes of our God. I would appreciate the same respect being given to my beliefs as is given to the gay community's beliefs.

However, this hate crime nonsense is being abused. Are not all crimes hate crimes? Isn't rape a hate crime against women? Isn't home invasions of elderly people a hate crime against the elderly? Calling something a hate crime gives special treatment to one group of people. Enforce the laws which protect all law abiding people.

You make a good point. A white man can get the death penalty for killing a Negro. Negros are given a lesser sentence for a similar killing. My experience is that racism is front and center in most of the Negro community. Young Negro males are the group most likely to commit murder because if you are poor there is nothing to take away from you but your life.

I don't really agree wholeheartedly with the hate crime idea but it has some merit. Rape may or may not be a hate crime. It could actually be , just sex thing. Think about this , Christian leaders have a hand in sexual repression which can cause erratic behavior later in life. Home invasion against the elderly is theft against an easier target, it's about stealing ,not hate. The hate crime laws are easily contorted to make a stronger case or maybe add a mitigating factor where there isn't one. I get the idea but it's way too overused.
