You continue to use the term inaccurately when in many cases your cause would be better expressed in less inflammatory terms. I'm simply saying to tailor your expression with more accurate, less incendiary words. "Hate" is a tool of the propagandist who is trying to garner support for an otherwise benign event. It should be reserved for those instances of high dudgeon when nothing else will support the circumstances. For instance, I never used the expression of hate for obama; rather I would say I loathed and detested his attempts. Same connotation, not just the extreme. Just a suggestion, Ma'am. Enjoy the day!

Why won't Twitter remove Louis Farrakhan's hate speech?

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan called for a separate state for Black Americans in an Instagram video posted on Thursday, saying that’s “what God wants” while those opposed he described as “slaves.”

Farrakhan, who in recent months has made numerous anti-Semitic comments, made his call for a nation-state separate from white America in response to the question whether it’s still his and the group’s goal.

“That's not just my goal. That's what God wants. Most of our people don't want it here,” Farrakhan said. “You love your enemy. You want to stay with your enemy. You're in love with his wealth. I understand the fascination, slaves. I understand that. But God has something else for us.”

The preacher went on to reiterate that neither he nor his group has changed its goal of a separate state since its creation in the 1960s.

“Let me tell you what's gonna happen. Yes I'm after a separate state. A separate nation. In the 60s what was our cry? We weren't saying we want to integrate, we were saying 'It's nation time!'” he said.

“Black Power. Black Power to do what? To integrate a lunch counter? Black Power to build a nation for 40 million – now near 50 million – black people,” he added.

Farrakhan’s post appears to be a clip from an interview on “The Rock Newman Show” in 2015. It remains unclear what prompted him to post the video again.

The hate group leader has faced criticism over his anti-Semitic comments. Back in May, he lost her verified status on Twitter after posting a hateful video in which he asked, “Will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it because Satan has deceived the whole world?”

He doubled-down on his anti-Semitic rhetoric, posting another video in recent months where he says that he wasn’t prejudiced against Jewish people but was simply “anti-Termite.”


In November, Farrakhan and his groupies went on a solidarity trip to Iran and led “Death to America” chants.

During the trip, Farrakhan told Iranian students that “America has never been a democracy,” and also led a “Death to Israel” chant at the end of his talk, Iranian news agencies reported.

We volunteered again!! a local friend of ours fell yesterday and dislocated her hip. She has a litter of 5 Bloodhound puppies that are 4 days old, and she lives alone with the dogs. (her husband , who was a police officer, got killed in the line of duty a couple of year ago) One of her neighbors said she would take care of the 5 adult dogs, but not the bitch with the puppies, o we now have mom and puppies in our guest bedroom. Fortunately the bitch seems to have enough milk but I did go out and get 4 cans of Goats milk Esbilac which is a dry power that , mixed with water, makes a really good formula for puppies. The bloodhounds are special stock bred for search and rescue and tracking, few people breed them and to loose these five puppies would be a major loss for the rescue group that will train them later. The Corsos are happy that the puppies are here, and really want to help, the Welsh and the Staffy resent the new puppies and all the time they will take. In the mean time the washing machine hose broke and water went all over the laundry room. Can't do laundry so will probably use all our towels keeping the puppies clean. AIN'T life fun?

I ask how I fit a stereotype? I don't call names, I do research and present facts. If the facts are true, then there is no stereotyping. If the facts are false, and some have been, I back up and refute them, usually WITH an apology.
When I first joined OPP, I fell into that emotional trap and posted cartoons and called names. Then I realized how that might come across to others. So, I stopped all of that. I now try to remain unemotional and just present facts to prove my statements.
Southerners have always been made sport of, so I don't believe I'm living in a glass house. I'll tell you how to defeat stereotyping............................it's easy.......................just make sure you don't fit the stereotype.

I've never responded to you until I read your last 2 remarks. People in the south are as hardworking as anywhere else. That's as offensive AND untrue as using the N word to describe a poor black man.

Then in your next post, you bragged about collage degrees. Haven't you learned that after the last election that "collage degrees" are NOT always something to brag about. Why? Because they turn out people like you.

Let me tell you a little story. A northern girl sat next to a southern girl on an airplane. Trying to just be friendly, the southerner asked ,"Where are ya'll from?"
