Why don't Pelosi focus on Barack Obama who look sick, underweight ,like a person with TB. He looks like an old 80-year old man. The president Trump is not overweight. Barack Obama is underweight. That is why he looks too old of his age. That's how I see him.

Well, the current president is in fact overweight, regardless of how you feel about it.

And as Obama is no longer our president, and has not announced he is taken an unproven and possibly dangerous drug (for some) then I can't imagine why anyone would focus on him at all.

Paul,

This is not as simple as your post pretends. In the Old Testament the ban on charging interest is specific to the poor. You can charge interest to foreigners, and also to the rich for productive loans. Also Jesus specifically tells stories about earning interest on money.

Thank you for sharing this informative article.

I have to admit my meme is provocative, as many posts are on OPP.
But your response is the only one (so far) that is level-headed and contains references, which I appreciate.

I also can't imagine anyone much poorer than a student who has struggled through school only to find there are no jobs. So maybe the gist of the meme is still there.

To me?
I can't remember

You need to go back to the fifth grade and learn how to read a chart! At 75 inches tall (6'3") and weight of 236 pounds, Trump is NOT anywhere near morbid obesity. Morbid obesity, which is also termed “clinically severe obesity,” is typically defined as being more than 100 pounds overweight or having a BMI of 40 or higher. So, according to your own chart on Table 2, Trump would be morbidly obese (BMI of 40) beginning at 319 pounds. Like I have already said - he is nowhere near mobidly obese. If he were, he would hardly be able to walk.

Four pounds shy of a BMI of 30 puts him in the "overweight" category, not even the obese one, never mind the morbidly obese.

See this article on understanding the difference between obesity and morbid obesity:

My apologies. He is 4 pounds shy of being just plain obese.

For Pelosi to call a 6-foot, 3-inch tall man who weighs 236 pounds morbidly obese shows how morbidly stupid she is. Trump is just a bit overweight and can always lose a few pounds if he wants to....but you can't fix stupid.

If in fact the president is 6’3” and 236 pounds he is over weight with a BMI between 29 and 30. Based on the chart at the link below he is 4 pounds shy of a BMI of 30, which would make him morbidly obese in health science terms.

That’s pretty much a non proven statistic. Most voter fraud isn’t prosecuted. It’s hard and expensive to prove. I do know ballot harvesting should never be allowed and voting in person, with voter I.D. should make most confident in the election results.

You are speculating, and with no basis.
If you know most voter fraud is not prosecuted then you must know about the amount of voter fraud there is.
If you have evidence of this please share it with us all.

It is about safety and voting integrity having everyone actually go to the polls to vote, with photo voters I. D. And those that can't, like military over seas or people on vacations or undergoing surgery, etc, should have to apply to the election board in advance and prove who they are with their request for absentee voting. No early voting for two good reasons. One, early voting reports for certain areas would tend to influence those that haven't voted yet as to whether to bother because of turnout predicting outcomes before voting day. Two, sometimes people die or drop out and this skews the results for those that are still in the race and creates an unfair election. Another reason against all mail in voting is the fact that Democrats could find and use many ways to cheat with people voting that already moved, or are dead, or can't prove who they are. They have done this in the past. The list wound go on, like harvesting ballots, helping people in their homes to fill out their ballots.

The amount of voter fraud is practically non-existent, from a statistical POV.
The right has consistently rn around screaming about a voter ID problem that does not exist.

It is safe as far as the virus is concerned. It is very much open to fraud and intimidation. I am sure you won't get it. I hate any voting by mail except for the military, Americans over seas, elderly and handicapped. Good Lord, if you can stand in lines for Toilet Paper you should be willing to stand in line to do something as important as vote.

It seems that in the 3 states that distribute ballots by mail, most voters return them to a physical location.
And of the ones that returned by mail, a big chunk took them to the post office. This seems safe to me.

I'm having a hard time, considering these are accepted as safe, understanding why folks think voting by mail is not safe. Also take into account some states, including Oregon, have been vote by mail for a long time. Even the U.S. military has vote by mail.
