All I know and Im sure pretty much everyone else here on OPP realize that the progressive left cancel culture (since that is where it started), is and has been falling down their mountain of BS and hard!!!!!. People have finally come to the realization that the "WOKE CROWD", has Woken themselves into a sleep never to return. The American citizenry will never tolerate it ever again. The progressive sickness has done more harm to our country then could be imagined and will never ever be forgotten or forgiven. I am just concerned that in order for them to retain any type of relevance is that they are willing to start a war around the world just in order for them to maintain any type of platform. The Ukraine and Russia standoff is a perfect example.

It has struck me, once again, the glaring difference between Democrats and Republicans, particularly MAGA Republicans. President Trump was elected because of some very specific campaign promises, which he set about fulfilling. While the Democrat party fought him tooth and nail. Glen Youngkin of Virginia (along with the new lieutenant governor and AG) ran on some very specific campaign promises, which they immediately got to work enacting. The Democrat party are fighting them tooth and nail. Not very "democratic" of the Democrats, to buck leaders elected in a democratic process.

Then you have the Biden administration, who promised "bipartisanship" and a "return to civility". Who immediately threw open our borders and is secretly seeding millions of illegal, unvetted in any way, 35% covid positive not to mention TB and other diseases, illegal aliens throughout the country with no notice or agreement of local or state governments (no one voted for that), raised taxes (no one voted for that), tried to push HR1 to federalize elections (no one voted for that, and it's unconstitutional), withdrew from Afghanistan in the STUPIDEST possible way, and encourages crime and lawlessness in the name of "equity", among dozens of other boneheaded moves that at least 70% of the country is NOT on board with.

And that has been what I've seen in the last 50 years. The Democrats promise pie in the sky and deliver shit pies. Or rather, they deliver their OWN agenda, that they don't mention much while campaigning, and that no one voted for, and try to sell it like crazy. A Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court has denied a request by legislative Democrats and Attorney General Josh Shapiro to block the release of voters’ information to the Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee investigating the 2020 general election and 2021 primary.

The Senate committee subpoenaed the Pennsylvania Department of State in September for the personal information of about 9 million Pennsylvania voters as part of a review of the 2020 general and 2021 primary elections, led by Iowa-based firm Envoy Sage.

The Department of State, which oversees elections, partially complied with the subpoena but refused to provide voters’ driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers the Senate committee contends is necessary to confirm voters’ identities.

In oral arguments last month, attorneys for Senate Republicans pointed to the Department of State sharing the same information with the League of Women Voters in 2012 and past auditor general reviews. Challengers argued the move could put voters’ information at risk of fraud or identity theft.

Shapiro and legislative Democrats also argued Envoy Sage has not outlined sufficient security measures to protect the information and cited the company’s lack of election auditing experience. In addition, Democrats argued the state is bound by federal law to protect “critical infrastructure information” on the state’s election systems.

A panel of five judges ruled Monday the Department of State did not provide “a clear legal right to quash the subpoena on the theory that it furthers no legitimate legislative purpose.”

The judges also found, however, “there is a substantial factual question surrounding the federal protection requirements and the capability of the Senate Committee’s contracted vendor, Envoy Sage, LLC, to protect the infrastructure information.”

The court ultimately denied both a motion to squash the subpoena and a motion for summary relief to release the information.

Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, R-Bellefonte, commended the court for upholding the Senate committee’s authority to issue a subpoena for the voter information.

“Today’s ruling upholds the General Assembly’s clear legal and constitutional authority to provide oversight of our election system,” Corman said. “… The Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee is conducting this review in a way that is transparent, fair and legally sound, and I am thankful this ruling completely validates our thoughtful approach to this deeply contentious issue.

“We have always intended to take every step necessary to protect the personal information of voters. Our resolve to protect this data has never wavered, and we look forward to proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that we can safeguard this information effectively.”

Shapiro, meanwhile, is touting the court’s reluctance to immediately release the voter information, and vowed to continue to fight against its release.

“In today’s decision, the court recognized that there are serious questions concerning the ability of the Senate Republicans’ third-party vendor, Envoy Sage, to safeguard the private personal information of nine million Pennsylvania voters,” Shapiro wrote on Twitter.

“The court also rejected Senate Republicans’ attempt to get immediate access to this private personal information,” he wrote. “As a result, my office’s fight to defend against the attempts by Republicans in Harrisburg to seize this private data – and to protect every Pennsylvanian’s constructional right to privacy – will continue.”

Another male athlete competing against young women is annihilating the competition. Olympic gold medalist and swimming champion, Michael Phelps weighed in saying everyone should have an equal playing field. Another Olympian, Caitlyn Jenner also commented on the dilemma saying biological boys should not be playing in women’s sports. Most of us would agree.

But what is concerning is the reaction to a remnant of Christian pastors who have recently preached on biblical sexuality which YouTube has labeled “hate speech.”

Some of us have been warning for years this would come to America. We’ll address ‘Lia’ Thomas and the swimming controversy in a minute.

A number of pastors recently preached about biblical sexuality as part of an effort in North America to protest a new Canadian law that took effect January 8 after being pushed through Parliament with little debate.

Canada’s Bill (C-4) is broadly worded and would likely make certain Scriptures illegal and in effect, ban biblical teachings on sexual ethics. About 4,000 church leaders spoke out recently, protesting the law from church pulpits, affirming their stance on God’s Word.

Liberty Coalition Canada warns that wording of the bill is broad enough to allow for “the criminal prosecution of Christians who would speak biblical truth into the lives of those in bondage to sexual sins like homosexuality and transgenderism.”

Since YouTube backs the Canadian law affirming the Bible is hate speech, let’s look at some of what scripture says:

There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY, that’s it. God made man male and female (Genesis 1:27). That is determined genetically, that is physiology, that is science, that is reality. On the one hand, the reality of that (transgender) lie and deception is so damaging, so destructive, so isolating, so corrupting that it needs to be confronted.

YouTube reportedly reviewed this and said it violates their “hate speech policy.”

Thomas More Society special counsel, Jenna Ellis rebuked the big tech giant for censoring material like this. I absolutely love this quote!

“The big tech oligarchy in the United States is implementing the equivalent of Canada’s insane law by censoring truth and the right of pastors to teach the Bible,” Ellis told the conservative commentator. “If Americans don’t stop big tech, this new Regime will circumvent the Constitution to foreclose our fundamental rights to speak and exercise religion – and the impact will be devastating.”

Devastating is right. You think it’s dark and depraved in our moral relativistic society now, just wait.

We’ve been relatively spoiled and free from religious persecution in North America. Not anymore. And please understand this will impact private conversations. It’s not just pastors and religious leaders who will face consequences of speaking biblical truth, individual citizens are already being bullied into silence, suppressed, censored, and severely limited if not deleted on many platforms.

We need to pay more attention to attacks on Christians and intolerance of the biblical worldview in other countries. Regarding moral decay, history has often shown the U.S. is not too far behind other declining nations.

In Finland, for example, Päivi Räsänen (Pivey Rausenen), a Christian member of Parliament in Finland is currently on trial. She has been fighting for freedom of speech and religion in court because she posted a Bible passage from Romans 1 on social media which condemns homosexuality. She was charged with three counts of hate speech.

But the transgender locomotive is steamrolling through our own culture and through every major institution in America including the hyper-secular university system.

University of Pennsylvania swimmer, Lia Thomas actually competed with the men’s team for three years. But last year joined the women’s team and has dominated all female competition. Just last weekend, Thomas obliterated swimming records previously held by female athletes, chalking up two more victories at a meet against Harvard.

If we’re concerned about truth and clarity, it’s important to breakdown some recent comments by Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce. He said biological boys should not be playing in women’s sports. Most of us would agree, but we’re at the point this will likely be censored for referring to Jenner as “he.”

Listen closely to what else he said and pay attention to the wording. He criticized “this woke culture were living in right now” and said it is not working. Again, agreed.

But he hypocritically reverts back to the delusion when commenting on the unfair advantage men have when competing against women in sports. Jenner continued referring to Thomas as “she” and “her” – which is part of the woke culture he has contributed to!

“I don’t know why she’s doing it; “She knows when she’s swimming, she’s beating the competition by two laps. She was born a biological boy. She was raised as a biological boy. Her cardiovascular system is bigger, her respiratory system is bigger, her hands are bigger, she can swim faster.”

See the problem here? And if you state the obvious, the biblical truth, the scientific, physiological and biological reality, you will be penalized the left’s bully pulpit and one party big-tech media conglomerate.

Naturally, Democrats, globalists, and others who are hostile toward the truth of Christ are all in. Think I’m exaggerating? In the Nancy Pelosi-controlled U.S. House of Representatives, the so-called Equality Act I’ve warned about for years has already passed.

Elections have consequences, and if this piece of radical legislation passes in the Senate, truth proclaimers and Bible-believing Christians will face persecution here that most of us didn’t think would happen in our lifetimes. Don’t think the left won’t gleefully criminalize followers of an entire worldview to advance its godless agenda.

This notion that you are something other than your biology is a cultural construct intended as an assault on God. The only way you can address it honestly, is to say, “God made you and God made you exactly the way He wanted you to be.”

This is a war on God. Those professing another identity or gender are not only fighting God and His physical creation, but they’re fighting His sovereignty. Those who subscribe to these worldly philosophies (Col. 2:8) have created a god of their own liking. We must fear God wholeheartedly and declare, ‘as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! (Joshua 24:15)

Thankfully, more and more people are waking up, but time is short and I pray it’s not too late.

Having spoken to some parents and to several college students in the last few years, I have learned of the plight that young conservatives face on college campuses. It should come as no surprise that in institutions of higher learning, where progressive and socialist indoctrination takes a front seat to educating, that conservative students walk around with targets painted on them. Their struggle to hold true to their values and beliefs is constantly under siege and challenged. While many people focus on the indoctrination taking place on campus, I want to explore the harassment and abuse of conservatives instead.
These students are on the front lines of the civil strife of our nation. On some campuses, they are taunted by their fellow students if they wear anything that identifies them as being part of a campus Republican group. I have been told stories of students deliberately colliding with them simply because they don’t agree with them. One young woman told me that she had reached a point where she removed her Republican sticker from her notebook computer simply to avoid the less-than-subtle collisions while walking across campus, they were that regular. Another told me that when they invite speakers to campus, there are sometimes protests to prevent the speakers from even entering the venue. In one case, in a Virginia college, the leftist activist students sent threatening letters to an upcoming speaker, warning that she would be ‘unsafe’ on the campus. In this instance, the speaker canceled coming rather than put her life at risk. There was spillover against the students for even inviting someone on campus who was conservative. So much for dissenting voices.
When the students turn to the campus leadership to ensure protection, none is provided. School administrators are fond of ignoring complaints that come from conservative students. One pair of students told me of the subtle sabotage that the campus administrators allowed. When they would book an event, confirming it, the event would mysteriously disappear from the calendar, sometimes the day of their event. This has happened multiple times. When the campus administration was told about it, they did nothing to accommodate these clear acts of digital sabotage.
There are student groups that monitor other students’ social media accounts. A parent shared with me that their daughter had been physically confronted by students who had noted that she had not posted her support for an upcoming BLM event on campus on Facebook. It was an instance of, “If you aren’t with us you are against us.” Despite her misgivings, and hoping to be off of their radar, she put up a BLM message on Facebook. When she didn’t show up to the event, however, she was once again confronted. The message was clear, she was being followed, both online and physically.
This is a one-way street. We don’t hear instances of conservative students issuing threats, using intimidation, protesting, or shoving others on campus. The reason is simple – they don’t do it. This kind of bullying is the hallmark of the radical socialists on campus, self-appointed social justice warriors, and the woke mob. More importantly, it is condoned by the people running our universities, if not openly encouraged. As a result, many campus conservatives have been forced to be underground organizations in order to survive.
I’m sure some leftists will argue that these are anecdotal instances, stories…that don’t accurately reflect the realities on campus. I would argue that even if these occurrences are rare, they should not be tolerated at all. There is no one holding the school leadership accountable for this.
Another way to think of the harassment of conservatives is that if you replace the word ‘conservatives’ with any other group, let’s say, lesbians or members of the Islamic faith, would these behaviors be tolerated? No. In fact, the mainstream media would pounce on such stories, inflating the risks and hate, calling for investigations. Task forces would be formed, banners for justice would be plastered all over campus. The hypocrisy is blatant and disgusting. These progressive activists can act with impunity and they know it.
When I attended school, colleges taught reasoning and logic; the ability to look at both sides of an issue and use critical thinking to arrive at a conclusion. Those days are long gone. Now the colleges are hunting grounds where the conservative student groups are the targets. If action isn’t taken soon, I fear that verbal abuse and physical bullying are going to escalate into something far more dangerous, if not deadly. It is only a matter of time.

DJ Ferguson needs a heart transplant. But since he has not been vaccinated against COVID-19, he has been removed from the transplant list at a Boston hospital.

Ferguson, 31, is at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His family said he was at the front of the line for a transplant until he was declared ineligible for being unvaccinated, WBZ-TV reported.

The hospital released a statement explaining its vaccine requirement for transplant patients. So, who has reinstituted the new laws of science? Not the people running this hospital that's for sure! Did anyone check to see if Mr. Ferguson has herd immunity? Is he a carrier? No, none of the above. If anyone should get sued it's Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Plus we all need to grow some spine and stand up to stupidy.

“The COVID-19 vaccine is one of several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors required for transplant candidates in the Mass General Brigham system in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation,” the statement read.
