I didn't say kill a child because they might become a danger.. Not at all..

I was pointing out those " accidental pregnancies"even if not wanted is the choice knowing how they feel and that child may feel as well.. My point was they accepted it..

During my time as a temporary foster domicile I had a couple of those children who had been removed and later given back to the mother once she cleaned up or so it went. Permanent placement is a long hard process, something we need to develop laws in streamlining.. Abortion to adoption heck of a difference if it was quicker..I commend your friends, need more of them!!

Reading through this thread, although I disagree with you, I had to admit that you made some good arguments.

Then, as your arguments were countered and became weaker, I at least had to give you points for consistency. I decided you are an absolutist, a cruel despotic absolutist but at least a consistent one.

"Both my wife and myself would never sacrifice any of our children to save ourselves." you say, "Just the opposite, we'd gladly sacrifice our own lives to save any of our children." Any normal parent would do the same.

And yet, you advocate abortion to save the mother's life. I'm sure you don't realize it, but by that advocacy you are tacitly admitting that the aborted fetus does not enjoy the same status as a post-born child.
