I have been following very closely all of the Obama Administration's choreographed efforts to waste hundreds of millions of dollars of Taxpayer money through Federal Contracts that pamper these illegal Aliens and provide them with better social services than Americans. They get free Medical, free Housing, free Food, free Lawyers, free Transportation, etc. Please see my numerous blogs/stories at: http://federalabuse.blogspot.com

They also get 100,000 a month, free maid service, lawn service, and pool service to boot. Damn they are lucky SOB's. Wish I was illegal too...

Haven't met many white conservatives who have an affinity for African Americans either. So what is your point!

Baloney, gas prices are all the same or near the same throughout the country, Here in Pa. the local refinery gets the same price as the distant refinery. Why? because they can and do fix prices to maintain a fixed profit. At this point, we are all willing to pay the price no matter what, because we have no better alternative.

We do have alternatives--drive more fuel efficient cars. This lowers our out of pocket expense and puts downward pressure on oil based on less consumption.

In China because there are no gas stations around like they are here, everybody rides a bike. Would you ride your bike instead of driving ten miles? Most free wheelers are riding motorcycles because of the lower cost.

China is the second largest consumer of oil and the largest importer of oil in the world. Now what is your point?

Quote:
You raise fuel prices, and everything costs more. Food, Water Home heating, Medicine, beer, everything. How do you justify the present price of Fuel when the processing cost hasn't changed in forty years. Except for increased wages and cost of maintenance. Only 40% of a barrel of oil goes for fuel, the rest goes for countless other high priced cook offs. The profit in a barrel of oil is more than 200 times it's cost.

Oil is a world wide commodity--when you increase demand in one area prices go up in all areas. That really all the justification there needs to be...

Taxes increased,

The tax corporate tax rate in 2000 ranged from 15% to 35% and today ranges from 15% to 35%. If you don't know what you are talking about just say so--saving you the time it takes you to write your nonsense and others the time to read it...

You may be correct, but then why were gas prices so low before the year 2000? The producers could charge whatever they wanted to charge at that time too.

In one word China. Oil is a world wide commodity and consumption by China has gone through the roof. It should also be noted that the gas formulation complained about in the OP were largely the same in the 90's showing just how little they really influence the price of gas at the pump!

In a beautiful moment of humanity and kindness one Sioux Falls, South Dakota woman took the time to bless another.

She didn’t do it for any accolade or because the government was forcing her to. She decided to help another mom in need because she was there and she could offer help. This is the perfect example of the conservative view on welfare.

It is our duty to help each other when we can. It’s how a community of people can survive and thrive even through difficult times.

Carol Flynn is 73 years old and she’s not a wealthy woman, but she’s doing okay. So when her chance to help someone else came along, she stepped up and did something that our modern culture finds extraordinary, but conservatives know should be commonplace.

Katie Kanefke is a homemaker with a 4 month old son, whose family is living on a tight budget. She had found an ad for cheap diapers and hoped that she could use Walmart’s “price match guarantee’ to purchase several boxes of diapers. Sadly, they would only honor the cheaper price for one box. So Katie was putting them aside when Carol stepped in and bought them for her.

"I couldn't believe it. I was shocked. I kept saying thank you and God bless you. Then I walked out in the parking lot and started crying. It just hit me. It was an awesome statement of what God's love does."

It was a wonderful display of kindness that a third party who was watching all along captured on his cell phone.
In a beautiful moment of humanity and kindness one... (show quote)

So do more and there won't be any need for government welfare....

If no such thing as God why do large percent of people believe in a higher power?

Maybe because there are a lot of idiots. When "a lot" of people believed in Zeus did that make him exist? How about when "a lot" believed in Sol the sun god? No, that didn't make him exist? So if our beliefs in gods in the past didn't make them real why would our beliefs in gods today make them any more real then they were in the past?
