from this post, one would think the tea party sponsored it
instead of fines there needs to be lengthy prison sentences.
just another example of how we have allowed our congress too much autonomy.
I am not now, nor have I ever been a member of any political party. I vote in whatever primary I choose. Reading the posts on this website proves that we have become very polarized. I keep seeing " you people " and a lot of name calling. This behavior prevents problem solving discourse. Most here sound like 4 year olds. I like to see facts and I don't make up my mind until I've seen all of them.
if elected officials started telling the truth about ANYTHING they would slip up and reveal their self interest.
mainly the tea party have not provided viable legislation for consideration. Not doing ANYTHING is not an accomplishment, it's an impediment.
The Republican party has no real issue with the Affordable Care Act other than it is a black mans signature accomplishment. There has been no significant work done by the congress since 2008. The people with the money ( Koch bros et al ) are pulling the strings. They are determined to ensure that a black President is seen as a failure and will use any excuse or tactic to see this done.
employers get tax credit for ALL employee related expenses. That includes all contributions to health, workers comp, SSA etc.
Social Security trust fund money is in treasury bonds. Those have to be bought back by general revenues to pay recipients. " Welfare " is money set aside, from general revenue, for specific purposes. So SocSec money incoming goes to buy treasury bonds, that goes into general the general fund. That's nuts.
