Do a search on Fabian socialist. Read a book called "None Dare Call it Conspiracy". In short, get a clue.

Did you fail the Dale Carnage course on how to win friends? What is with this "Get a clue" crap?

I am 72 and going strong. I read with interest what was said about the knowledge and wisdom that comes with age. HOWEVER, speaking from experience, no one wants to hear it. Our ideas are antiquated and our experiences out of date with the modern liberals and, unfortunately, many of the normal people as well. In the last two years I have remained lucid enough to have written two books, the first, The Philosophy Of An Old White Man, and the second, Knowing The Holy Spirit (the last is available on Amazon).
I chose to write on a religious subject not only because it is an important subject but also it is a subject which, if you do as I do and stay with the scriptures, it doesn't change. Man changes - God doesn't. In like manner, when I look up a word I use an Oxford Universal Dictionary first published in 1933 and last revised in 1955. Just like the liberals try to change what God's will is, they also change the meaning of our words. But then I have the wisdom and knowledge to recognize these things because I AM OLD and plan on getting older - with or without government approval.

You are getting into quicksand very quickly.

That is where I have spent most of my life and am very comfortable there. I love you already and I don't even know you. You seemed to have learned the lesson that I did years ago that you can't get in the water without making waves. Love to match wits - hope I never run out of people to do it with.

Remember also that most of women's arsenal continues to work into their later years, ie: they talk a lot, none of it is coherent, they make wise cracks about men knowing that they can't do without them, they still want help getting in and out of a car - guess they never learned how to do that.
The one that really gets me though is why they expect us to be in charge of the toilet seat when we hardly ever use it???

I believe I told you this previously. Further, it is likely BearK, SWMBO, lindajoy and other of my female confederates will agree....

It is not that men can't do it right the first time but rather that we only do those things which we enjoy and therefor repeat them several times. SO THERE!

Thank you for your welcome. I am truly humbled to be associated with this group and hope to be an acceptable addition.
As you may know, I am a writer and can say a little using a lot of words, LOL. I hope not to bore you with that trait.

By way of further introduction and that you may learn something about me I invite you to go to my web site at www.lynngregory.net (this site does not allow active links so you have to copy and paste or type in the info. into your address bar). There you will find information about me and the book which I recently published - "Knowing The Holy Spirit". You will also be able to read the first 5 pages of the book.

Thanks again for your acceptance and I look forward to joining your voices in prayer for those things we have a mutual interest in.

May all things be done for the glory of Christ

As an aside, have you ever wondered where people got their handle on the internet? When I got my first computer about 14 years ago I lived on a small projection of land into Tampa bay. It was surrounded with swamp with all the bugs , raccoons, and snakes that a person could ask for. That is where swampbug came from.

I have looked at a red/blue map of the U.S. recently. It is overwhelmingly red especially in the places that have more cows than people. The cities, (you know, those people who decide presidential elections) are overwhelmingly blue.

There are even some very blue areas now in the south including N. Virginia, Charlotte, Atlanta, Austin, South Florida and San Antonio.

Of course the biggest enchilada of all, has its population centers a bright blue (except for San Diego).

Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento are all bright blue. These are the areas that control California's 55 electoral votes.

What's that you were saying about red/blue maps?

Based on my study of the Bible, I have concluded that God would likely be a republican (red). That balances it out quite well so not to worry.

I am honored to have been invited to associate with this group by Armageddun - thank You. Like to pass on a story about my experience with prayer. In 2000 I met this lady who is now my wife and we were instantly attracted to each other. After a brief period I found out that she had an inoperable malignant growth at the top of her spine where it joins the brain. The doctors said that if they tried to remove it she would likely be paralyzed from the neck down even if the surgery was successful. She elected not to go that way and had put her affairs in order. She was still trying to work but suffered from increasingly intense headaches. One afternoon she came from work early, took some pain medication, and went to bed.
After she went to sleep I sat on the edge of her bed for an hour or so crying because at this point we were very much in love. I started to pray and ask God that if it be His will, please help her. I had just found her and did not want to give her up that quickly. After about a half hour of prayer I left her and went to sleep. The next day she called me from work and said that her doctor had called her and ask that she come to his office after work. When she got there he told her that the night before (at the same time I was praying for her) he was reading an article in an British med. journal about a new experimental procedure they were having some success with in England. He found out that morning that there was an experimental group being put together in the US to test it here. After about 3 hours on the phone, he got her enrolled in the test.
About 2 weeks later they started the treatments. They injected a mixture of drugs directly into the growth every day for a week then every other day for another week then every three days. After about 2 1/2 weeks it started to go down in size. After 6 weeks it was gone and has not returned in 14 years.
Do I believe in the power of prayer??? I feel like I have a wife that God saved just for me!!!

For you to get your dream world you would not only need the secession of Calif, but the entire west coast, upper midwest, northeast as well as Virginia and Florida.

All the rest of us would need is for Texas to go back to being a territory of northern Mexico.

It would be poetic justice.

You must not have looked at the red/blue map of the US lately or is this just another part of your fallacious talking points fed by your imagination that your group is so noted for.

I live on the West Coast. Republicans here are an endangered species. They do exist but they are usually smart enough to not advertise their views in public. Most folks assume that if you chose to live in this progressive college town, you are most likely a liberal Democrat.

It's different living in the Pacific region where all six U.S. Senators are liberal democrats, with F ratings from the NRA.

What do the Stalin and the Kochs have in common? They are predatory political extremists with little use for the input of the "common folk".

It is amazing how many found my misuse of the word principal/principle but seemed to let that overshadow the message. That seems rather shallow to me but that is just my opinion. My experience is that when you proof read for errors, you tend not to get the message. On the contrary, when you read for content, you aren't as likely to notice spelling errors, etc..
