The Clintons have an open marriage and Hillary Clinton had an affair with her late law partner, Vince Foster, according to a former tabloid editor who emerged in the media to assert he once served as a “fixer” for the Clintons.

Jeff Rovin, who first told his story in the National Enquirer anonymously, was granted a far larger microphone Monday night on “The Sean Hannity Show” on Fox News.

Rovin told Hannity his motivation to come forward was the biased coverage afforded to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“The New York Times has become the National Enquirer, and the National Enquirer has become The New York Times,” Rovin said. “We’ve got to set the world right again.”

Rovin did not get into too many details — nor did he offer much compelling proof of his involvement in salacious cover-ups for the Clintons. He also did not produce any pictures — or even the prized audio tape he allegedly received from the National Enquirer in return for a Clinton exclusive.

He also broke little new ground. Rumors about Bill Clinton's affairs or even his love of prostitutes is not exactly shocking. Rumors about Vince Foster and Hillary Clinton have been in print since 1993, back when David Brock was a conservative and writing about the Clintons for The American Spectator.

But Rovin said he went through two years of investigation with the National Enquirer. Yet even in last week's issue, the weekly tabloid chose not to print his identity. Hannity scored Rovin's first in-person interview.

Rovin said he "fixed" many problems for the Clintons by paying off tipsters and journalists. Often, he would tell journalists they had their facts wrong.

Or, in the case of the National Enquirer, he would get his hands on the tabloid's evidence and then provide the tabloid favors.

For a salacious audio tape, a phone message in which the president's name is used, Rovin offered the National Enquirer an exclusive at brother Roger Clinton's wedding.

Rovin said he was "fixing problems" for an actor in Clinton's sphere when he was first approached by the duo and contracted into their service.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, sporting what looked like a head of lettuce on her left shoulder, went on MSNBC Friday to express her anger and frustration over the Clinton campaign emails leaked by -- wait for it -- Wikipedia:

“You know that I’m going to first of all denounce the utilization of this intrusion by Wikipedia through the Russian intrusion. This is what it’s about. Espionage just like what was said over these last couple of days. We need to be concerned about the intrusion of Russia and Putin in these elections.”

As BizPacReview notes, Wikipedia is the free online encyclopedia; Lee meant to refer to Wikileaks, the organization led by Julian Assange that is behind the leaked emails.

This might have been just an understandable slip of the tongue of the sort that anyone who has ever appeared in the media experiences from time to time -- except that Lee has earned a reputation for underwhelming intelligence. In the past she has claimed that the Constitution was 400 years old, that Neil Armstrong planted the American flag on Mars, that Vietnam still consists of North and South (the two countries became one in 1976), and that the World Meteorological Organization should be more "inclusive of African American names” for hurricanes, offering such suggested names as “Keisha, Jamal and Deshawn.”

She also once asserted that “I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together. Are we going to be able to do it today to free America?” Perhaps Jackson momentarily thought she was born in 1850 instead of 1950, because she was never a slave.

Obama cheers on the country’s greatest force killing black people.

Black Lives Matter was called into being to protest what the racist hate group claimed was the killings of black men by police. Activists with the extremist organization have accused law enforcement of genocide. According to a study widely touted by activists, 300 black people were shot by police in 2015.

That same year 320 black people became homicide victims in Baltimore alone.

In 2014, 189 died. And then Baltimore came under assault from Black Lives Matter over the Freddie Case leading to riots and the Ferguson Effect crippling law enforcement efforts. The police became the villains. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake offered the racist rioters and looters space to destroy. Along with the businesses and sense of security, here is what else was destroyed.

An additional 131 black men died in 2015 in Baltimore. 16 black women were murdered in both 2014 and 2015. The huge increase came at the expense of black men. The biggest bump in homicides, 49 to 99, happened among young black men aged 18 to 25. This year’s incomplete toll already stands at 68.

The second biggest increase marked black men aged 26 to 34 whose death toll rose from 60 to 108.

277 black men were shot in 2015. Up from 141 in 2014. Shootings overall in Baltimore rose 72%.

These are the same black men that Black Lives Matter and its torrent of shrill supporters claim to care about.

They didn’t die because of the police. They didn’t die because of racism. They died because of Black Lives Matter. Their story will never be told because the accomplices of their killers are the ones telling it.

The Black Lives Matter exploitation of Freddie Gray’s accidental death led to a major spike in murders the next month. How many black lives did Black Lives Matter claim as opposed to the police officers they were protesting?

According to an ACLU report, 75 black people were killed in encounters with police in four years across the entire State of Maryland. Only 31 people in total, of all races, were killed in police encounters in Baltimore City throughout those four years.

Black Lives Matter’s incitement and hatred claimed more black lives in one city in one year than police officers across the entire state did in four years. The racist hate group ended up costing four times more black lives in one year than the total number of people killed by police in Baltimore City in four years.

Black Lives Matter has killed far more black people than the police forces that the hate group attacks.

Police officers save lives. Black Lives Matter takes them. The arrests that the hate group denounces as “racist” are actually saving the lives of young black men. When the arrests fell, the murders rose.

The Ferguson Effect isn’t just bad for police. It’s a death warrant for young black men.

In Chicago, shootings involving police fell while homicides soared. Shootings involving police fell by nearly half from 2014 to 2015. Meanwhile the murder rate shot up dramatically and took many times the numbers of lives that made up the difference.

Police shootings in 2016 are as low as they’ve been in a long time. And the murder rate is higher than ever before the year is even through. 471 black people were murdered in Chicago this year. That’s up from 401 last year and 353 from 2014.

Between Baltimore and Chicago, Black Lives Matter has accounted for the deaths of over 200 black people. That’s quite a performance for an organization that claims to value black lives.

It’s not just a local accomplishment, but a national one. The national murder rate is expected to rise 13% mostly because of Chicago. The Windy City is responsible for almost half the national hike in homicides.

Police stops in Chicago fell 90% in response to left-wing pressure and murders rose 95%. Every 2 hours and change, someone is shot in Chicago. Without the police on the job, murderers roam free.

Black Lives Matter insists that it’s determined to change the country and the lives of black people. It’s certainly doing that. Chicago is more of a war zone than ever and Baltimore’s success story is in the past. The cemeteries are filled with young black men who died because the racist hate group declared a war on police. Its war hasn’t only claimed the lives of police officers murdered by Black Lives Matter supporters like Micah X. Johnson, but it has taken more black lives than any number of police officers.

Black Lives Matter isn’t saving black lives, it’s taking black lives. Obama and his media allies are cheering on the country’s greatest force killing black people.

If you want to know whom black lives truly matter to, consider which group was the biggest beneficiary of the drop in murder rates in major cities from the thousands to the hundreds.

In the seventies, the New York City murder rate nudged 2,000 and the Chicago murder rate approached 1,000. Slashing those murder rates through programs that were denounced as racist saved the lives of thousands of black people. Some of the very Black Lives Matter activists protesting the police are only alive today because their parents weren’t shot to death on some street corner or in some alleyway.

They are alive to threaten and scream at the police, and incite violence against them, because of the sacrifices that police officers have made on their ungrateful behalf.

Police officers save thousands of black lives every year. Police officers, white and black, risk their lives every day to save black lives and to protect and preserve black communities.

In Baltimore and Chicago, Black Lives Matter has shown us that the alternative to police is the cemetery.

The media portrays officers as taking black lives while Black Lives Matter fights for black lives. But in reality, police officers save black lives while Black Lives Matter takes black lives.

After the last Presidential debate, WGN 9 News invited Brunell Donald-Kyei, a Chicago-based lawyer who just happens to be a black female and who just happens to support presidential hopeful Donald Trump, on the air to talk about her preferred candidate.

As reported by BlakPak, the WGN 9 anchors were expecting (and no doubt hoping) to discredit this black Trump supporter, but they weren't expecting her to demolish their kneejerk demonization of Trump with commonsense arguments - something the leftist media isn't comfortable with.

On of the best moments: as a former Democrat, Donald-Kyei explained her frustration with the Democratic party this way: "I voted for Barack Obama when he said he was gonna bring hope and change and 'Yes, we can!' and 'No, we didn't.'"

President Barack Obama discarded eight years of controversies surrounding his administration, including the targeting of conservative groups, veterans lacking health care, the administration’s response to a terrorist attack weeks before the 2012 election, and a botched gun sting.

During a Democratic fundraising event in San Diego Sunday, Obama attacked Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the former chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, for the various investigations into the administration.

“Here’s a guy who called my administration perhaps the most corrupt in history, despite the fact that actually, we have not had a major scandal in my administration,” Obama told Democratic donors.

The tactics of any congressional oversight chairman could be a matter of debate, as could the definition of “scandal” and, if it is a scandal, whether it’s a “major” one.

What isn’t debatable is that the Obama administration has experienced numerous controversies that have led to administration officials resigning from office, being held in contempt of Congress, the establishment of a select investigative House committee and several Justice Department investigations.

Without offering comment for this story, a senior White House official referenced several commentators that have noted Obama did not have a significant scandal in comparison to previous presidents. A recent USA Today editorial noted that Obama has had a largely “personally scandal-free presence in the White House.”

Here’s a list of nine controversies that Obama didn’t mention at the Democratic fundraiser, but that nevertheless leave many unanswered questions.

1.) IRS Targeting Scandal

In 2013, Lois Lerner, former director of the IRS Exempt Organizations division, admitted that officials in the IRS’ Cincinnati office acted improperly.

The move was meant to preempt the release of a Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, which found a sustained targeting of conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.

Lerner asserted her innocence in the matter before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, then invoked her Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination to avoid cross-examination of her claims. The House voted to find her in contempt of Congress.

Justice Department prosecutor Barbara Bosserman, who had donated $6,750 to Obama’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee from 2004 to 2012, investigated the matter and declined to bring up charges.

House investigators did not find a direct link from the White House to the IRS scandal.

The Justice Department was aware of the matter two years before Congress and took no action, according to documents obtained by the government watchdog group Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act.

2.) VA Waiting List

The Department of Veterans Affairs inspector general first noted the waiting list problem at a Phoenix clinic in 2014 and then found other clinics with similar problems. Veterans were placed on phony waiting lists, and some even died while waiting for care. VA Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned from his position.

Last year, in another follow-up report, the inspector general found about 800,000 records and applications delayed in the VA system, and more than 300,000 might have died.

Earlier this month, another inspector general report found that at the Phoenix clinic, where the controversy was first discovered, another 200 veterans died while waiting for care on the waiting list and at least one could have been saved had he received proper care on a timelier basis.

Both Republicans and Democrats expressed outrage over the matter.

3.) GSA Spending Spree

In 2012, Martha N. Johnson, the administrator of the General Services Administration, resigned after the federal procurement agency was engulfed in a controversy. The department was accused of allowing excessive spending on travel and conferences for the agency and employees.

Johnson admitted in her resignation letter that “taxpayer dollars were squandered.”

Some of the spending included a Las Vegas trip where employees had a $31,000 reception that included a clown mind reader.

The organizer of the event, GSA regional commissioner Jeffrey Neely, was photographed in a Las Vegas hotel bathtub with a wine glass. Neely was indicted on three counts of making false claims, one count of using false documents, and one count of making false statements. He was later sentenced to three months in prison.

4.) Attack on the Benghazi Compound

On Sept. 11, 2012, weeks before a presidential election, terrorists attacked U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya. Obama administration officials initially blamed this attack on a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim YouTube video that spun out of control.

Late that night, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton released a statement that said: “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior, along with the protest that took place at our embassy in Cairo yesterday, as a response to inflammatory material posted on the internet.”

The following weekend, then-United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice went on several Sunday morning news programs to blame the video for provoking the attack.

However, the administration eventually conceded the incident was a terrorist attack. Obama had been campaigning on having decimated al-Qaeda and killing Osama bin Laden. So a terrorist attack interfered with the campaign narrative that the event was sparked by a protest.

Before a Senate panel in January 2013, Clinton famously said, “What difference at this point does it make,” whether the attack was prompted by a terrorist or an out-of-control protest.

In 2014, then-House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, named a House select committee to investigate the Benghazi incident. The committee issued its final report in July, which found no conclusive cover up by the administration.

5.) Clinton Emails

It was the Benghazi committee that first discovered that before, during, and after her time as secretary of state, Clinton maintained a private email server. This prompted the FBI to investigate questions of whether Clinton violated the law in terms of storing classified information.

In July, FBI Director James Comey announced the investigation was completed and concluded that Clinton and her staff had been “extremely careless.” However, he determined that there was no intent to put classified national security information in danger and would not warrant prosecution.

During her testimony, Clinton told the House Benghazi committee, “There was nothing marked classified on my emails, either sent or received.”

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said he would ask the FBI to investigate whether Clinton lied to Congress.

6.) Fast and Furious Gun Walking

Operation Fast and Furious was a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives program, meant to be a sting operation. It allowed about 2,000 guns to flow to Mexican drug trafficking organizations under federal supervision before authorities lost control of the guns.

Fast and Furious began in the fall of 2009 and was halted in December 2010 after two of the guns from the operation were found at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in Arizona.

After more than a year of the Justice Department failing to provide documents to the House Oversight Committee, 17 House Democrats joined nearly all House Republicans to find Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.

In June, documents showed that 69 people were killed by lost guns the ATF allowed to flow into the country, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch.

7.) Solyndra Subsidies

The Energy Department provided a $535 million loan guarantee to the politically connected solar panel firm Solyndra as part of the 2009 stimulus bill. Not long after building its factory, the California firm filed for bankruptcy protection and an FBI investigation ensued. The company did not find a buyer and eventually closed down.

Subsequent other subsidized green energy companies also collapsed.

8.) DOJ and the New Black Panther Party

On Election Day 2008, hours before Obama was first elected, two members of the New Black Panther Party stood outside the door of a polling place in Philadelphia in paramilitary outfits. One of the men was carrying a nightstick. The two men were caught on video seemingly intimidating voters.

While George W. Bush was still president, the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party, which the liberal Southern Poverty Law Center classifies as a hate group. However, by May of 2009, the Obama administration’s Department of Justice and Holder, then-attorney general, dropped the case.

9.) A Job for Sestak

In 2010, Rep. Joe Sestak, who was challenging Sen. Arlen Specter in a Pennsylvania Democratic Senate primary, said that the Obama administration had offered him a job to dissuade him from entering the race.

Obama had endorsed Specter, who had recently switched allegiance from the Republican to the Democrat Party during the early months of Obama’s presidency. The White House did not answer questions on the matter for several months.

Issa, then-ranking member of the House oversight panel, suggested such an offer could be illegal. Specter also pressed Sestak to answer more questions about the alleged offer.

After Sestak defeated Specter for the nomination, White House counsel Robert Bauer released a memo asserting that nothing improper occurred and that Obama’s offer was to serve on an unpaid presidential advisory board that would allow him to continue to serve in the House.
