Subject: Warren Buffet's advice

THE BUFFETT RULE - GREAT IDEA!

Warren Buffett is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around. This is more than a great idea! Please read to the end.

The Way It Is Now

Salary of retired US Presidents .. . . . .. . . . . .. . ..........$180,000 FOR LIFE
Salary of retired House/Senate members .. . . . .. . . . $174,000 FOR LIFE
Salary of retired Speaker of the House .. . . . .. . . . . . .$223,500 FOR LIFE
Salary of retired Majority / Minority Leaders . . .. . . . $193,400 FOR LIFE
Average Salary of a teacher . . .. . . . .. . . . . .. .. . . . . . .$40,065
Average Salary of a deployed Soldier . . .. . . .. . . . . . . $38,000

I think we found where the cuts should be made!

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling: "I could end the deficit in five minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election".

The 26th Amendment ( granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds ) took only three months and eight days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven ( 7 ) took one ( 1 ) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure. Warren Buffett is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

The BUFFETT Rule - THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!

Congressional Reform Act of 2017

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress ( past, present, & future ) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 3/1/17. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work.

We must support this - pass it on and let's see if Congress/Senate understand what people pressure is all about. If each person contacts a minimum of twenty (20) people, then it will only take three days for most people ( in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time? If you agree, pass it on.

Democratic strategist and CNN political commentator Symone Sanders is definitely not the nicest woman around when it comes to sympathy for those affected by violence. During a television segment where anti-Trump protest violence is being discussed, Sanders raised some eyebrows with a rather stark responsive comment to those being hurt by it.

“POOR WHITE PEOPLE.” How professional… The video from the segment can be watched below:

CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota suggested on Monday that Americans should sport hijabs to show solidarity with Muslim women who fear being attacked for wearing religious head coverings. This proclamation came hours right before the Ohio State University attack, which was committed by an Islamic radical student.

“Maybe there will be a movement where people wear the head scarf in solidarity. You know, even if you’re not Muslim,” Camerota said during CNN’s early-morning “New Day” broadcast. “Maybe it’s the way people shave their heads, you know, sometimes in solidarity with somebody who is going through something.”

The CNN segment focused on Muslim women who claim they live in fear of being verbally or physically attacked for wearing head scarves under the new President-Elect, Donald Trump. “I hope I can wear it one day again. I hope I can feel safe enough to do so,” Marwa Abdelghani, a Muslim-American woman, told the network.

The segment was cordially titled “The Trump Transition: Fearful Muslim women take steps to be safe.”

Camerota’s co-host on the segment, Chris Cuomo, suggested an alternative for Muslim women who fear being attacked. “I think self-defense training is good for everybody,” he said. “Prepare yourself for whatever can come.”

Iraq is a case in point: a democracy in name only, far from liberal, and a place where people are routinely murdered for being homosexual. The second phase of the Arab uprising is well into its stride. This is the complex internal struggle within societies where religious beliefs, social mores, tribal links, and guns are currently far more powerful forces than “Western” ideals of equality, freedom of expression, and universal suffrage. The Arab countries are beset by prejudices, indeed hatreds, of which average Westerners know so little that they tend not to believe them even if they are laid out in print before their eyes. We are aware of our own prejudices, which are legion, but often seem to turn a blind eye to those in the Middle East.

In their naïveté, many think that these incitements to murder are not widespread and must be seen in the context of the Arabic language, which can be given to flights of rhetoric. This signals their lack of understanding of the “Arab street,” the role of the mainstream Arab media, and a refusal to understand that when people who are full of hatred say something, they mean it.

In Egypt, the liberals never had a chance. Nor do they now. This is not because the people of the region are radical; it is because if you are hungry and frightened, and you are offered either bread and security or the concept of democracy, the choice is not difficult. In impoverished societies with few accountable institutions, power rests with gangs disguised as “militia” and “political parties.” While they fight for power, sometimes cheered on by naive Western sympathizers, many innocent people die.
Look at Libya, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and possibly other countries it will be that way for years to come.

In the latest cultural psyop, Amazon has created an ad that is being promoted heavily in the enemedia. “A priest and an imam are sitting down for tea…..” Do they discuss the genocide of Christians in Muslim lands? Do they discuss the creed apartheid under Islamic law? Do they attempt to tackle the worldwide jihad and its millions of victims? No, in the liberal fantasist bubble, they play patty-cake and buy presents for each other (even though Christmas is haram and Christians are persecuted for celebrating the birth of Jesus in many Muslim countries).

Amazon’s ad offers a not-so-subtle counterargument to some of the angry anti-Muslim rhetoric espoused by President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters.

As talk bubbles of Muslim registries and even a potential ban on Muslim immigrants, Amazon’s message offers a different approach: We are people first. We embrace the things that make us different, but we’re all very much the same. Muslims have arthritis, too.

In a statement, Amazon spokeswoman Julie Law said the ad was not connected to any political movement.

Over 1 hr long, but absolutely destroys the media's reporting of Trump. Somehow he should broadcast it all over the US.

Al, you are absolutely correct! Obama said that he didn’t know the motive for the shooting, but expressed “hope” that the situation could be contained. He said in the interview that “our hearts go out to the victims and the families” but did not make any mention of prayers.
Rather than attempting to control the proper handling of guns, government officials have consistently resorted to increasing gun regulations, seemingly without an understanding of the ineffectiveness of gun prohibitions to deter violent criminals.

Again you are right Turdsnest is an idiot!!!

The action-man mayor of Hungarian frontier town Ásotthalom has invited “all active Europeans” to visit the border fence his government created, so they can learn how to protect their own countries.

Praising the remarkable success of the Hungarian border fence, which reduced daily illegal migrant incursions from some 10,000 a day to 30 in just the space of a week, mayor László Toroczkai acknowledged the fence hadn’t actually solved the European migrant crisis. Instead, blocking Hungary off had just shifted the migratory stream westwards to Slovenia.

This is not an insurmountable problem for mayor Toroczkai — the rest of Europe just needs to take a leaf out of Hungary’s book. Speaking in the short action-packed film — the second his office has released about the migrant crisis — Mr. Toroczkai said:

“…the problem has not ceased to exist, because the leaders of the European Union don’t want to follow our example. The number of illegal migrants who are entering Europe without being checked or controlled is increasing, only they avoid Hungary now.
