This is our Christmas music forum. I will, hopefully, add a new Christmas song each day. Obviously, there will be repeats, but different versions provide variety to our listening.

My first choice is near to my heart for personal history. While in eighth grade, our school hired a new math teacher. Dreamy Mr. Ferguson of the sandy hair and bright blue eyes. He, also, became our choir director. He decided the choir would do a piece from the Messiah for the Christmas Concert. Many felt he was over reaching, expecting a group of junior high students to perform such. He repeatedly repeatedly and repeatedly said, "They can do it!" He expected us to succeed. The last rehearsal he surprised us by having rented an organ to accompany us, rather then the piano we had had. To brag, we were so successful two churches had us perform for their Christmas Concerts.

Want to make a Republican squirm? “Tax-and-Spend” Obama just dropped the deficit to the lowest point since he took office and nearly where it was before the economy crashed in 2008.
You might not hear about it on Fox News, but the Congressional Budget Office announced this week that the last year saw the deficit drop a staggering one-third. This was the fifth year in a row of a falling deficit and now sits at a level that is lower than the average for the past 40 years.
To put it visually, here’s a chart by Chris Savage showing just how far we’ve come since the days of the recession — and Sean Hannity screaming about Obama’s out of control spending:
Consequently, the debt is no longer an issue that Republicans feel they can run on. They’ve been painfully silent about it this election cycle. It’s not hard to see why. When it comes to the economy, Obama has been so successful that Republicans would lose any argument.
What they would do about it has never been quite clear. In the mean time, Obama’s policies have continued to take hold.
For one thing, the economy is showing signs of life that haven’t been seen since Bush left it in disarray. It took years to repair some of the damage — the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression — but it’s finally getting to the point that we can begin talking about the worst effects in the past tense. Unemployment is down. The stock market is way up. Republicans are back to pretending to be mad about Obama’s golf game. All signs of a healthy economy.
For another, Obamacare, far from the disaster conservatives had promised us it would be, is actually working. The reforms to America’s broken health care system have been a major contributor to the fall in the deficit. Obama didn’t mind touting this point himself at a recent talk he gave at Northwestern University:
Partly because health care prices have been growing at the slowest rate in nearly 50 years, the growth in what health care costs the government is down. Health care has long been the single-biggest driver of America’s future deficits. It’s been the single-biggest driver of our debt. Health care is now the single-biggest factor driving down those deficits.
Into these waters, Republicans now must wade. While it seems like ancient history, it was just one year ago that the GOP had shut down the government in an effort to stop Obamacare from running up further debts. The gamble blew up in their faces, making them look both foolish and vindictive, but now we know that they were actively working against reducing the deficit, as well.
And it’s not just that Obama has reduced the deficit. After all, Clinton took a US deficit and turned it into a surplus during his years in office. It’s the amount of progress given the size of the hole. Referring back to the graph above it’s almost inconceivable that in five years the deficit could be slashed at such a rate. The depth to which the economy was slumped was catastrophic and astonishing. Suddenly, it isn’t.
While I’m sure Obama doesn’t sit up at night waiting for Republican leadership to phone him with an apology, they owe him one. In fact, they probably owe all of us one.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the
United States , especially in the minority races!
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for
maintaining my state prison security clearance.

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths,who each explained their beliefs.


I was particularly interested in what the Muslim had tosay. The Muslim
gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.


After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked:
'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and
Clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the Infidels
of the all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven.


If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'


There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he
replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All
followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your
faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and
command and, he sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'


I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The
Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.
Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'


I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me!
Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah that teaches you to kill me
In order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I
am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop.


Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the
Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.
In twenty years there will be Enough Muslim voters in the
U.S. To elect the President!
I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us reads this This is our chance To make a difference....

HaShem warned (a prophecy) Noah of the impending destruction of the world by flood and then proceeded to give him instructions as to how to save himself and his family, and a remnant of all things living. A plan, if you will for the salvation of his progeny.

We can also find HaShem speaking of the "passing of of the earth" prophecy in Genesis 8:22 "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." HaShem tells us here the earth will one day cease to exist.

Yeshua confirms this in Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Again in Mat 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Here once again there is going to be an end to the world.

Then we find John in Revelations 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

This is the reason it is important to study prophecy, to know the road ahead and be prepared for what is to come. Forewarned is forearmed.

OH? where did they come from? We seem to have a basic discrepancy here with multiple creations of different types of people. If separate people groups were created sometime in the past, and were not just isolated types with similar characteristics as must be the case since there was only a singular human life creation in the beginning as we believe, or have been told. If there is proof of multiple humanoid creations, we should find the evidence of it and if it does not exist anywhere in human history other than mythology, it is not to be considered as truth. If evidence of multiple types of beings were created and were not human, we have a big problem in both creation and science.

How a web we weave to deceive. I check out about 15 of these twisted scriptures and see they are all lies. I decided not to waste my time on all of this garbage. I admit there was one that threw me and I had to ask the Holy Spirit to give me the answer. That was he one about Abram being born when Terah was 70 years old and died at the age of 205. Then the verses stated Abram left Haran at the age of 75 and went forward to the promise land. No where does it state that Terah died before Abram left with Lot and his wife. The answer the Holy Spirit gave me was that Terah was still alive, but went no farther with Abram than Haran. The Bible even states that Terah was taking his family to the promise land, but Haran was as far as he got. This was a promise by God to Abram.
