DOJ Session is right.

First Amendment | Constitution

Amendment I.
** 1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
** 2. or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
** 3. or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press;
** 4. or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

NOTE: Separation of Church and State is not mentioned in the First Amendment. Therefore, if government imposes separation of church and state, it is deemed unconstitutional.

People are so misled by the provisions of this 1st Amendment Rights. Fact of the matter is the democrat political party interpret it to meet their narratives. Congress must define clearly the meaning of every phrase.
1. Congress shall not make no law that requires establishment of a religion.
2. But it also must not prohibit the FREE EXERCISE OF A RELIGION, either in public or private places. Note: The exercise to practice freely is not prohibited or specified on this provision.
3. Or must not prohibit the freedom of speech, or of the press.
4. That the people must have the right to peacefully assemble, to petition the government for redress of grievances.
That WE the people can have the right to free exercise of our religion anywhere, in public squares, in schools, in churches or at home.
That government cannot curtail our freedom of speech or of the press.
That people have the right to PEACEABLY assemble, and petition the government for setting right or to correct unjust situation.

The problem at present is that the Leftists, populated by BLM, illegal aliens and Muslims, march on the US streets to vandalize public and private properties, kill or assault innocent people especially they attack the conservatives who are peaceful. They loot, they, damage stores, they burglarize, steal, destroy, burn properties of others. They SCATTER TRASH all over the US PUBLIC PLACES.

Your second paragraph is what I based what I was saying about church's.. When they try to influence government policy, or voters or use government for their benefit, they are not a church speaking but an organization with a political agenda..

I've already said a church has the right of the First amendment either as an individual or business because they are one in the same anymore..

Let's use Gay marriages as an example..,A hot political issues, correct?? Some churches oppose it and will not marry gays as it goes against their religious belief, right?? They have manned together fighting it and making it an opposed political view, right??

Now the “U.S. government subsidizes churches” and that costs billions of dollars each year, right??

The government also reserves the right to “stop giving them special tax-free privileges.” Now, the Supreme Court’s ruling that gay marriage is a “fundamental right” means, that tax-exempt groups cannot disallow it and retain that status, doesn't it?? Or shouldn't it?? Can't be a church asking for subsidies or tax breaks while then being a politic component in refusing to follow the law because they disagree, right!? But they sure are..

And since churches are the primary social drivers against homosexuality, they are using their parish to oppose a political determination of right of choice..

“If the church organization does not support the right of gay men and women to marry, then the government should be very clear that they are playing politic roulette and it should certainly not bend over backwards to give them the privilege of tax exemption.”
