Once again Nikki Haley jumps to immediate conclusion

I just read that Nikki Haley condemned Assad before the UN. We don't have any definite reason to believe that Assad was responsible, personally. It could have been the Russians or Isis or some fourth party. We should get our facts together before publicly putting blame on anyone. It reminds me of Bosnia and Clinton. I had been following that situation and felt we were wrong to go against a valiant ally in WWII to give the country to the Muslims. We opened a door that seemingly can't be closed. You Tube. Check it out!

The Russians couldn't have done it as they are Assad's ally and would never cross that line. I think Obama did it--it's the only thing that makes any sense...

That may be the fourth in the equation. Thanks.

Haley would fit right in here on OPP where people get a hair caught sideways and sail off to premature unsupported scenarios complete with factoids and accusations.

Chemical weapons are available to many players including us, Russia, the Syrians, ISIS, Iran, etc.

Trump needs to sit on Haley now. It's one thing for him to.blow off because it's a personal trait of his and most everything he lips off about is taken with a grain of salt so a lot of what he says, he says for himself only.

It's a different matter when our delegate to the UN blows off during assembly. At that time she is speaking for us and personally I have no idea right now who to blame and I don't care for anyone to speak for me. If it turns out Russia is to blame, deal with it then.

If what happened was due to a mistake, anyone could have done it. At this point we don't know so we cannot single out anyone which means we cannot remove anyone from the list of possibles either.

So who was flying the helicopter that dropped the bombs? BTW, I think they hit three different areas. There should be radar records so it should be easy enough to find out...

In 2011 Assad had research and production facilities near Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Latakia and Hama that turned out hundreds of tons of chemical agents a year. Are we suppose to assume that he gave up all the agents he had and is now innocent? Come now, you can't expect us to be that gullible can you doc?

Doesn't necessarily make him guilty either. We still must wait for allhe evidence to be weighed.

Carol, it was a fixed wing aircraft that dropped the gas. Two countries had fixed wing aircraft; Russia and Syria. Do you believe Russia would be dumb enough to gas Syrians?

[Gullible? Pete, there is a lot of space between suspicion and fact. I have my suspicions also but unlike you and many others here I hold my.tongue until I have facts.

If you know who to blame from factual information you have access to, then tell us the culprit and present your facts. If you can't do that then you don't know any more than the rest of us and you're guessing.

Innuendo causes a lot of problems. We don't need to gothere.

It doesn't make sense for Russia to do it and Assad.has the ability and the mentality, but that is not.proof. it could have been ISIS. No, I doubt it was, but could have been especially since some time ago chemical, poison, and biological warfare was among their threats.

I prefer to wait and see.

It was a helicopter attack. There will be a radar trail. Follow it and that will tell you who the culprit is...

It was an assault from the air doc. That means it was the Russian's, the Syrians, or the United States. You are doing the same thing Obama did--drag your feet long enough and hope people forget about it. Well, it's because Obama drug his feet we have the refugee crisis that we have today. Maybe Obama did all the damage so your guy dragging his feet will do no harm. That's what you need to hope for anyway. Myself, I think we need to go in there--stop blaming someone else--and just clean up the fuking mess. The Syrian people deserve that and the Russians and Assad can go fuk themselves. They've had their fun now they can go away...

Assad doesn't have any chemical weapons. It is a lie made up by George W Bush and the vast right-wing conspiracy.
