I brought that question up, because so many people after WWII have been baffled by that conundrum, even Einstein. Neither religion nor science have had answers to World War II.

I have some answers, but I'd like to have people think about carnage and slaughter, in the 20th as well as the 21st century.

Feminists blame men, Communists blame capitalists, Socialists think the answer is to eliminate competition, forgetting it was that 19th century malignant philosophy that contributed to the 20th century, and on and on and on....

I said IF that was indeed written by Einstein, then he was wrong. And if he were wrong, it would be because, like some other Jewish people, he had the mistaken belief, taught the many centuries of using Jews as scapegoats, that if the Jewish people kept a low profile, they wouldn't be bothered by the "others".

For instance, at one point during the development of that European subcontinent, Jewish women shaved their heads (and wore wigs) so that the Gentile men would not find them attractive.

It might behoove you to read about Chaim Weizman, who was a friend of Einstein's.

Prof. Einstein has become part of Jewish legend. A hitherto unpublished Einstein anecdote is included in the new book “The Jewish People in Anecdote” by the scholar Chaim Block. The story tells of the first voyage of Prof. Einstein to America, when he accompanied Chaim Weizmann, then World Zionist President. After the voyage, Dr. Weizmann was asked, “What did you talk about during the trip?”
“During the entire trip, Einstein, kept explaining his theory of relativity to me,” said Dr. Weizmann, himself a noted chemist.
“And what impression did you get?” he was asked.
“I believe he understands it!” was the answer.

But that was before World War II. Attitudes changed---How could God have possibly allowed the extermination of 6 million Jews?

A wise commander picks the battle field, a losing commander lets someone else do the picking. So far, our commanders have let all kinds of people pick our battle fields - and we keep losing as a consequence.

There are no isolated issues, no matter how badly politicians wish us to believe there are. As an example, during WWII, we lost many ships in our OWN waters, because our leaders did not think they were at risk - and it took years to come up with an effective counter. Everything relates to everything else and failing to adequately prepare HERE - has a profoundly negative effect - everywhere else.

With our infrastructure falling apart, massive debt, social unrest, severe political corruption and many other ills - we have NO business trying to exert our will outside our own borders. We can't seem to take care of our own business and people - much less trying to do so elsewhere.
