I'll give you a brief synopsis on how that happened.

The Germans of the 1930s were a different breed of people, they took great pride in their nation's military prowess and were quite amenable to an overbearing government system--a democratic one, but powerful none the less. The German defeat in WW1 truly distressed them, and the Treaty of Versailles was crafted to humble them. This was a deep insult to a proud people. The war also left the nation's economy in a shambles. And, as you know, along came the Great Depression (wasn't just an American thing). During this time, Germans were so destitute that they were burning Billion Mark notes in their stoves to stay warm and cook a potato. The Weimar Republic under von Hindenburg was impotent.

Then, up steps former Gefreiter Adolph Hitler. A consummate politician with a major bone to pick who practiced his histrionics in front of a mirror. His message and his delivery were brilliant. He appealed directly to that German pride, blaming the nation's defeat on the Weimar Republic and its democratic form of government. "Stabbed in the back" was his opening theme. Leaving his hatred of the untermensch Jews, Gypsies and what have you out for now, Hitler proceeded to convince the Germans that Germany must once again prove it's place on the world stage. And he did this with policies and programs that sent their economy through the roof. Even though he directed German industry and business toward his military goals, the Germans were working again, money was flowing, life was good.

Then, in one of the most diabolically brilliant moves, Hitler shredded the Treaty of Versailles, thumbed the collective German nose in the face of the allied victors. It was a given then that the people were bought. Hindenburg stepped aside, Hitler took over, the German people had their savior, and it was all down hill from there.

Simple as I can make it, but it does have a familiar ring to it nowadays.

After 1945 thousands of Nazis were captured. Hundreds were put on trial, some had falsified identification and were trying to hide and when forced to admit that they were indeed the individual from the death camps, took a new tactic. They then claimed that they were against what was going on, that they did not shoot the gun or gassed women and children. It was the women, children, and elderly who were immediately separated from the men who could work 18 to 21 hours a day.. Many of the criminals on trial when faced with their own participation would simply say that these kinds of things happen in war. Not one said that the holocaust was a myth that it did not happen.


One would think, if indeed the holocaust was a myth that these men would boldly stand up and declare “this is a lie!” These people were on trial for their lives, if convicted they knew they would be hanged. But not one claimed there were no gas chambers, not one claimed that the camps were a fabrication. Not one presented evidence that the crematoria were anything other than a disposal system used for human bodies. On the contrary, they gave great details on how they had helped build, run, and handle the humans they were murdering. Many showed they had great pride in how Germany and their achievements in constructing and figuring out the small details in such a complex and large scale effort. Many had private journals, such as the Smoot Papers that they handed over that showed their assessments and daily activities which often included a score care of a nature, how many, the sex, what property was claimed how long the hair was that was cut from women’s heads, and what was inside the suitcases that would be used to further the war effort. as to precisely how they had helped build and helped run the mechanics of mass murder, some of them even seeming proud of how they had achieved something so complex and on such a vast scale.


Rudolf Hoss, The commandant of Auschwitz-Birkenau was put on trial and Höss’ own testimony, and later his memoirs, he was summoned to Berlin (June 1941) where he “received personal orders” from Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler “to turn Auschwitz-Birkenau into a large scale extermination camp, modelled on the facility already operating at Treblinka.” Hoss, according to his own testimony, visited Treblinka and then, by September 1941, had established similar gas chambers and crematoria in Auschwitz. While on the stand, he gave details. And there were no variations in his account, even when he had to repeat the accounts at different times and different days. He swore that he personally oversaw the “arrival of two to three trains a day of up to 2000 people, from whom the stronger were selected for one of the Auschwitz work camps and the rest were gassed and burned.” He detailed how he made his gas chambers capable of murdering ten times as many people as the ones at Treblinka and detailed other "improvements" to the killing process: "Still another improvement we made over Treblinka was that at Treblinka the victims almost always knew that they were to be exterminated and at Auschwitz we endeavored to fool the victims into thinking that they were to go through a delousing process. Of course, frequently they realized our true intentions and we sometimes had riots and difficulties due to that fact. Very frequently women would hide their children under the clothes but of course when we found them we would send the children in to be exterminated." (Höss' affidavit for his Nuremberg trial )



Regarding his capture, as the Russians moved in and began to liberate the Jews in the death camps, Höss and his family fled back to Germany and he was captured by British troops in May 1946, disguised as a farmer and claiming to be called Franz Lang. His wife identified him as Hoss.



During his trial, Hoss was matter of fact and very precise, according to the psychologist he, Hoss, was apathetic and cooperative. In his testimony and in the memoir he was allowed to write while in prison, Höss was absolutely straightforward about what he had done: he wrote: “victims were executed and exterminated there by gassing and burning, and at least another half million succumbed to starvation and disease, making a total dead of about 3,000,000. This figure represents about 70% or 80% of all persons sent to Auschwitz as prisoners, the remainder having been selected and used for slave labor in the concentration camp industries. “ (Höss' affidavit for his Nuremberg trial)



Hoss said that he regretted his crimes, but it was a time of war and the Jew was the enemy. He followed orders. He was hung on the gallows that were constructed at the main entrance of the crematorium at Auschwitz 16 April 1947.

If you still think that the Holocaust never happened, then do explain why even Nazis disagree with you, the deniers. Why, when put on trial for their lives,, not one Nazi or witness put on the stand denied the existence of the camps, that the crematoria burned 24/7 filling the sky near the camps with soot and ash. Not one ever denied what happened.


General Erichvon dem Bach Zelewsi, in his testomy asserted that the Einsatzgruppen (Einsatzgruppen der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD) were the SS death squads. Their job "... was the annihilation of the Jews, Gypsies, and Soviet political commissars.” He, like others were given a unique job. This according to him was the cleansing of towns, the ghettos established in 1933. And all kept meticulous records. For such records, look at the Jager Report, and look at the cencus data. In doing so, you will find that they support the disappearance of over 6 million people; and they just happened to be Jewish or Gypsies etc. How can this be explained if the Holocaust did not happen?


Photographs, you claim are fakes, tattoos with number you claim are classification identifications. So I am left with archeological evidence. March 27, 2014, A forensic anthropologist was part of the team to excavate Treblinka, she is quoted as saying “These artifacts are there, and these human remains are on the surface, and they're not being recorded or recovered." So now you have a reference to the trials, to photographs, census data, and now an archeological dig. But, this will not convince you. You will claim that there was not enough gas chambers, or petrol to keep up such an operation. What you are overlooking are several facts. The Nazi actually started experimenting with poison gas in 1939 to eliminate mental patients, those people were considered “unworthy of life.” Individual injections of lethal drugs proved too costly, individual murdering took a psychological toll on those committing the murders.


A more efficient technique had to be developed and they found the solution in chemically manufactured carbon monoxide gas. Which is a result when there is an incomplete conversion of carbon or carbon containing fuels to carbon dioxide. It is not that difficult to manufacture and small modification to existing plants resulted in mass quantiles of the gas. The process requires you to pass air though a bed of incandescent coke or coal, or by the reaction of natural gas with oxygen at high temperatures in the presence of a catalyst. The carbon monoxide resulting from these processes generally is contaminated with other substances, such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide, but the Nazi was unconcerned about the purity. They knew that Carbon monoxide condenses to the liquid at -192° C (-314° F) and it freezes at -199° C (-326° F). It is only slightly soluble in water, and its physical properties closely resemble those of nitrogen. This made it ideal for manufacture, and it was cheap. No diesel fuel required, no major modifications to the iron works manufacturing was required. It was a perfect solution to be used in gas chambers, it dispatched up to 500 people in 20 minutes or depending on health as little as 10 minutes.


This solution worked for stationary chambers, but the Nazi had to take their killing to the front lines. Being ingenious people they came up with a solution. At first they started with Einstazgruppe, mobile killing units. Their method of dispatching humans was shooting. This too was costly in many ways, the ammunition alone was in short demand. So they developed rolling gas chambers. These were put to use when Germany invaded Russia (one of the reasons that at the end of the war, Germans were so fearful of the Russians). Nazis experimented with gas vans for mass killing. Gas vans were hermetically sealed trucks with engine exhaust diverted to the interior compartment. Use of gas vans began after Einsatzgruppe members complained of battle fatigue and mental anguish caused by shooting large numbers of women and children. Gassing also proved to be less costly. Einsatzgruppen (mobile killing units) gassed hundreds of thousands of people, mostly Jews, Roma (Gypsies), and mentally ill people. In 1941, the SS concluded that the deportation of Jews to killing centers (to be gassed) was the most efficient way of achieving the "Final Solution". That same year, the Nazis opened the Chelmno camp in Poland. Jews from the Lodz area of Poland and Roma were killed there in mobile gas vans.


Indeed, fascinated with murder, the scientist came up with faster and more efficient ways of murder. At the Auschwitz camp in Poland, they conducted experiments with Zyklon B (previously used for fumigation) by gassing some 600 Soviet prisoners of war and 250 ill prisoners in September 1941. Zyklon B pellets, converted to lethal gas when exposed to air. They proved the quickest gassing method and were chosen as the means of mass murder at Auschwitz. At the height of the deportations, up to 6,000 Jews were gassed each day at Auschwitz.


But still you will claim that the camps were only work camps, not designed as killing centers. To this I say, account for gas chambers at Stutthof, Mauthausen, Sachsenhausen, and Ravensbrueck. Records from these camps were kept very straight forward, those chambers was used to murder those deemed “unfit” to work. Those chambers used Zyklon B as the killing agent. Now for the manpower issue. The SS managed the administration of the concentration camps, but the day to day death machines fell under police, from the Euthanasia Program. In most of the extermination camps the camp guards, especially the leaders, were members of the SS’s notorious Totenkopfverbände – the black-uniformed Death Head’s Unit. These guards were recruited from Theodor Eicke’s tough school –he was the man who had developed the concentration camp system in Dachau and had trained these men in the former concentration camps.

The ordinary guards were usually Ukrainians or Balts, who in many eyewitness accounts are presented as violent thugs. Operation Reinhard.

And this story would not be complete without the mention of the Jews who fought beside, healed, and defended the Nazi. I cannot ignore, or forgive those Jews who knowingly participated in the slaughter of their own people. Specifically Finland's Jews. I will recount one individual in particular, a proud man who was presented the Iron Cross. He was a doctor and as the story unfolds he was heroic, with no regard for his own safety Major Leo Skurnik, organized the evacuation of a field hospital on the Finnish-Russian border, saving the lives of than 600 hundred Nazi including SS men. For a man, when interviewed said that he had wanted to be a concert pianist, he became a savior and honored by the German High Command. The history of WWII is ripe with such people, those who deny even what they see with their own eyes. Indeed, more than 300 Finnish joined the Nazi team. This fact is not talked about in Finland, and if asked of those who are still alive who were in the military, they will say they are unashamed although they knew what Hitler was doing as he moved his killing machines form country to country. So yes, there were Jews who cooperated. And in the camps, yes there were those who oversaw the deaths of other Jews, they did the dirty work. They claimed that they only wanted to survive. So they did what was necessary to have the extra food or warmer clothing. And those men helped in slave labor camps specifically designed to work their fellow prisoners to death, such a camp was Mauthausen where emaciated prisoners were forced to run up 186 steps out of a stone quarry while carrying heavy boulders.

In the end, evil comes in all colors and all sizes. Evil starts in the heart of man who deny that the evils of the past existed.
