There were many lessons learned from that 30 minute stop .

You may remember that not that long ago false pride and demands for respect were running rampant .
Dial in the " Gold star for all under achievers " and the formula is nearly complete . Respect is earned .
Not grated . Pride is good . False pride based on falsehoods is not . Recognition is for achievers . Not
under achievers . Pulling all down instead of pulling up degrades society as a whole . This government run
social experiment is a failure . Plain and simple .

Next stop
Socialism and collapse .

It's a true story. I know. The cab driver was me. Got even though, PappaGringo gave me a hundred dollar bill and I gave him change for a 20; he even tipped me 10 dollars. Damn, can't stand drunks when I'm sober. But they do provide me with a good tax free income so I can afford the best brands of booze.

Must have taken a sizable amount of whiskey to inebriate such an experienced man .
Or is this story a fable of sorts ?

BadBobby, PoppaGringo & Slatten49 entered a taxi after a heavy night of drinking.

Immediately realizing that the three men were inebriated, the driver quickly thought up a plan to get rid of them.

He started the engine, turned it off again and said: “We have reached your destination".

“Alright pal, here you go,” said PoppaGringo as he gave him the money.

Slatten49 thanked him enthusiastically.

Then, BadBobby slapped him across the face with brute force.

"What was that for?" Yelled the surprised driver, thinking he was caught.

BB screamed, "Next time don't go so fast! You nearly killed us!"

Every mag I have is occupied ( fully loaded ) . Every shootable weapon locked and loaded . All mags are serviced
monthly and all batteries tested . One day a month my firearms are broken down and checked for proper lube .
I think it therapeutic and frankly it does not hurt to stay very much in tune with any and all lethal weapons . Familiarity
is paramount . I go to the range every other month and take everything along . The last thing I would want to do is
harm the innocent or accidentally kill the neighbors cat with an errant round . Practice practice practice . Being able
to hit what you are aiming at is imperative . Many things I was taught in the military have stayed with me . When
you are off safe and acquiring a target you had have better damn well defined it .

But . I am preaching to the choir here aren't I !!!

This is one of the reasons why that after 60 years of giving huge advantages to minorities there is still far
to much strife in black communities . They elect clowns to office . So the cycle continues . Over and over
again .

I've told this story before .
I was a young boy when my father pulled over to the shoulder by a cotton field being worked by hand pickers . He had a few words with the foreman
then told me and my two older sisters that we were in for an experience . The foreman handed us a large gunny sack each and my father gave us
a quick lesson on " Pickin Cotton ". After about 30 minutes he called it quits . My sisters were fuming . My finger tips felt like they had all been stung
several times by bees . The old black foreman and my father exchanged looks followed by that old black man looking down at me with a huge grin
and said , " Boy , a couldn't afford to hire you . " Later my father explained that the people on hands and knees picking cotton all day were paid by
how much they had picked and the old boy was just making a statement . I hadn't picked much at all . My father was raised a farm boy during the
depression and at times picked cotton to feed himself . He grew up a tall standing man and a damned good one .

Good on ya .

Well I finally got around to sorting thru some old pics . I am horrible at just throwing all into boxes in no order.
I found two shots of the town of Akritori . One is pretty decent and the other shows a stack of boxes set over
a section where active digs were going on . I had many more and have no idea what happened to them . I
remember being zoned in on the wooden catwalks you had to stay on while walking thru the town . When we
were there all the town parts were covered under a roof build to preserve the digs . Quite impressive layout .
Wish I had them to show you but I can post the two I have if you like . I could throw in some touristy shots
of Santorini if you like . Looking through these it struck me that my time touring the North Aegean Isles
was half my life timeago . Where did it go ?
Let me know .

I would very much enjoy looking at your pictures of Akrotiri, which must be Atlantis, of course - if, it is not too much work to put these photos on OPP. Should we call you "Missing Link" or Zorba?

The digs must have expanded quit bit since the 1970s and 1980s. There are no mummies there, like Pompeii, so all the people must have gotten off the island? But then, there is the tsunami - it could have been 1000 feet high, like that one back in Alaska 1964, possibly drowning the entire shores of Mediterranean, sweeping the Fertile Crescent all the way to the Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean. Is it not the same time of Krishna's battles and the destruction of Dwarka?

The whole of western civilization must have migrated either eastward to the Alta Mountains or Xinjiang (East Turkestan where they wore woolen plaid tartans like the Scotsmen) or westward to the New World. James Mavor wrote that the eruptions of Thera would have ranked as the greatest catastrophes in human history. I am too old to travel, so its necessary to travel vicariously - something like that. There should be a special site on OPP for armchair archaeologists.

Thanks!

Either the new world order has brought him out of retirement or he is against the first president of the
modern era who is not a player . He can not be got to . There's no paying him off . We have not seen the end
of political muck raking from all directions . The more they can dirty his name the cleaner they become .
In this information age everyone knows that few if any are clean . The political history of the Bush Lineage
will be cemented into the NWO . I think both . NWO pressures and making themselves cleaner .

How can Mueller who was deeply involved in the uranium sale now sit in judgment on Donald Trump or, for that matter, anyone else. I hope Grassley gets all of them in orange suits before it's over. Straighten out all the impurities in this country. And do it NOW!

I agree . The saying " actions speak louder than words " has never
more applicable than Obama's case . His actions are blindly clear .
He should be run out of the U.S. Maybe Kenya will take him . Or
Uganda . I do not believe anyone has been eaten there since Dada
Amin left office in 1979 . Yeah , Uganda works for me since I do not
believe cannibalism is in vogue anywhere on earth at the moment .
Maybe it would come back there . If it were 1978 , ah , never mind .
