When Trump started his trade war and levying Tariffs on the whole world it increased the trade imbalance from $640 billion to $855 billion. But yet his supporters love him I guess this is another way of making America Great again. (NO ITS MAKE AMERICA PAY MORE) The disturbing part is this Trump convinced his base that the tariffs are hurting China and China is paying billions of dollars in tariffs, but what his base does not understand is tariffs are a tax on American tax payers because we pay more for imported goods. It is estimated that American tax payers are beginning to feel the effects to the cost of at least $1,000 a year.

So costs of goods go up wages are stagnant and inflation rises due to a Trump inflicted problem.

But let’s get to the socialism issue. The farmers are the most effected by the Trump tariffs. When the self inflected problem kicked in and farmers began to feel the impact Trump started a program to subsidize the farmers that are in trouble. So he found $12 billion to subsidize these farmers for a crisis that Trump created. But that’s kind of strange only 39% of the farmers received subsidies with most of that cash going to commercial farmers and not the small farmers that are really feeling the impact. Now this $12 billion is on top of the $24 billion the republicans gave these same commercial farmers.

So as far as socialism: Trump created this problem, (TARIFFS) (TAX ON AMERICAN PEOPLE) ( INFLATION RISING) (TRADE IMBALANCE INCREASING) and the way Trump fixes his self inflicted problem is to create a subsidy that is socialism. That’s kind of strange when the Trump base screams that democrats are socialist.

The difference is in who gets the money.
If the rich man gets it is to stimulate the economy.
If the average person gets it stimulates the economy better.
But the idea behind it al is what is the easiest way to get the money in the rich mans pocket.

What do you think lobbyist do for there money?
They transfer the money to the law makers.

As always one needs to follow the money.
Those involved try not to leave a plain path as to how this is done.

A politician getting money from some one leaves open a good investment prospect.
Inside trading information that is a huge advantage.
A great deal for the politician.

An act that is socialist in nature But at the heart of crony capitalism.
It just goes to show that capitalism is not the panacea many claim it to be.

What the heck! The average person is just a loser & they will buy what ever we are selling.

It is for the average voter to get it straight just how capitalistic or socialistic this country this nation is.

I say we have socialism in this country.
Some good (For big money) & some bad. (For the average person.)

As long as it gets to your pocket it is great.
The thing is if you get paid for your part in the work force. (Your labor or input) Socialism is BAD.

But if you deal with the money or production. (Money you get from the government is to stimulate the economy)GOOD.

Either way the money ends up in just a FEW hands or pockets.

One just needs to put aside what the text book has to say on the issue.
Then just rely on what you see & hear.

Every one sees & hears things are not as good as it could be.
So take a good look around & get a better picture of what you see.

So if it helps the economy either way why is it bad to help the man at the bottom first.
Well you are not rich if you don't have more that some one else.
(So if you get a bit more than some one else you should be happy)
While supporting system that rewards those getting much more than you.

Too get a better picture of this one needs to see how the tax laws favor money earned on money over money earned om personal labor (Or input).

My money's still riding on the American people to see what the Democratic Party's trying to do to us in time to show the left just how potent the power of the vote can be when the voters have had enough.

Yes the voters have see enough. Electing Trump has pushed the envelope to far right.

One thing you can count on.
I tend to be a bit ahead of most looking ahead at what may happen.

Being egotistical is believing there will continue to be world leaders like we have now forever.

If this planet is ever going to be able to survive the long term. Changes will take place.

As humans have move past being tribes, city states, counties & nations.
So to will One World Government come about.

You may not live to see it. But you can only delay & not avoid it.

What you say is invasive has been as much or more of the forces of the right than the left.

That sort of "agenda" has no place in a free society -- it would find a better home in the dustbin of history along with the USSR, The Third Reich and other totalitarian nightmares.

Well some one has added to the mess we face.
Some one is going to clean it up as best they see how.
I look to us as being more of a part of what we are than of what we will be.

This is a different subject but one that I feel is important right now...social security. What kind of men would take from old people who worked all their lives supporting a government plan to give to their own concerns. I’m speaking of using a trust fund to take and use for the care of illegal aliens, to try to balance the national debt and make presidents into millionaires. That’s what they’ve done and are doing and it needs to be stopped...like taking candy from a baby.

Well first off you need to revise your rating of Trump.
You are not going to be able to avoid the loss of white supremacy.
White males for a great part of history have used colonialism for their own benefit.
There are forces out there now that wish to gain some of that power.
There can be an increase in the standards of living for many.

To do so way well mean the standard of living may decrease for many.
There are just to many in the world today that want it all.

Because of what has taken place in the past:
Those with the most will be hard pressed to have the poor put their life's on the line to protect the wealthy. (Those helicopter-soccer moms will cry out when their children will have to be drafted to protect the wealthy.)

I am an old white male who has had a good run on life & as I near the end I look ahead for only an additional day.

I have made some preparations for death & set aside funds for an unsure future.

I sit here & share thoughts with others while I should be cleaning up my hoarding mess.

Once when I was about nine & the family was moving to a farm I had a sale of most of my toys.
(Thinking on a farm I would not need them.
Since that time I have been slow to dispose of things.

Hoarding is just an unorganized form of collecting things.
I have pipes to hang clothes on & lots of shelving.
My children only want the money & none of the other things.

I don't know if any one real reads much of what I write.
But I feel every one should take a good look at who & what they are a write it down.

To all who have read it this far :
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Your side's strategy has most often enjoyed its success by preying on the desperation of society's "have nots," then when it has achieved "victory," dashing those no longer needed supporters' hopes with even more misery than they were trapped in before.

On the other hand, the Trump Administration's way of doing things has helped many of those same "have nots" lift themselves out of their ruts through opportunities presented by a strengthening economy.

I think you need to take a good look back at history & figure out just why & how there are people in desperate positions. There has been a lot of unfair acts against some groups of people.
You may never be able to reimburse any one fairly.
But where unfairness exists the situations can be relaxed or removed.

Remember the 2nd amendment:
The text of the Second Amendment reads in full: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

We have slipped by that issue.
But we should bring it back & have what can in truth be called a well-regulated Militia.
Where there is control over who can carry just what kind of weapon.

The states need to take back those military units taken from them by the federal government.
The whole systems can be returned to the states as there may well be intact units now under federal control.

The purpose of education is to prepare the young to negotiate the future -- this means teaching them skills like math and reading, the rudiments of science; history as presented with chronology and facts, not politics based conjecture or a reshaped version to accommodate one side or the other of the incumbent political equation, and to teach them how the government works without "how it should work" according to the teacher's political dogmas. Politics neutral while, most importantly, teaching students to think for themselves, to form their own opinions based neutrally on evidence they acquire.

Unfortunately, while that's how the education system worked when I was young, it has, thanks entirely to the Democrats who have a monopoly on the system, been converted largely into one big "progressive" indoctrination system chocked full of "social justice" and "identity politics," wherein teaching all those necessary skills I mentioned above has become a low priority issue.

And it is reflected whenever one has a conversation with the average millenial -- in the name of political power hunger, the Democrats have managed to successfully trash what was once among the best education systems in the world.

There are changes coming that will make the liberal views more predominate in the near furture.
We have been dominated by the far right for too long.
(This has left a huge void in fairness to liberalism.)

It is my contention that there will be a need to see that the movement is moderate.
It is important to keep a healthy balance between the conservative & liberal agendas.

I contend (As do you) that the political parties have been & are the driving force.
It has been my view to have people become more independent in their voting choices.

To my way of thinking there is a serious lack of independent thinking by many on this site.

Voting has a lot to do with knowledge, that is the problem with stupid people voting. Your gang has for years given money, drugs, buzz and who knows what to the simple-minded to vote for the Commie left. It has been documented.

Ego is about thinking you know what is best (For your self) & wanting things done your way.
Your Ego is one of feeling you are superior to others.
Your Ego leaves you feeling that there are others that just don't belong in your world.
I have an Ego also.
My Ego leaves we feeling I an equal to you & that we both belong in this world.
(I have room for you in my view of the world, where you have less room for any one in any way different from you.)

This is why your way of thinking is loosing it's hold on what is going to take place in life around us.
Just a more homogenous world.
A more fair & equable sharing of life.

Well if one is going to be realistic all education can be called brain washing.
At it's roots it is about getting people to think in a way that lets people live together well.
