It is a way of lifting up America and allowing minorities to improve their lives in a society that has traditionally kept its boot heel on their throats. Schools and school funding is so poor in the inner city ghettos that is difficult for even serious students to pass the sat's. a couple years ago an article was published in the Atlantic about Central High School in Birmingham Alabama integrated in the 1960's 70's sporting great foot ball teams a big parade every year and rated tops but two new high schools were built for the white population leaving central as segregated as pre Brown vs Board of Education decision in 1853. There is no more parades or powerful football teams funding is inadequate. resources in short supply and the home coming Queen who was also class valedictorian could not pass the sat with out remedial classes

The embarrassing electoral smattering of Hillary Clinton in November of 2016 carried with it the added effect of fracturing the democratic party.

In the wake of a massive dump of information from within the Clinton campaign, provided by Julian Assange and Wikileaks, the democratic party found themselves on the short end of the stick. Collusion between the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign was proven by the release of stolen emails from campaign manager John Podesta. In the emails, the Clinton campaign was revealed to have worked with the party’s organizers to actively discourage the nomination of rival Bernie Sanders.
The Bernie bros were infuriated, and demanded that heads should roll. Debbie Wassermann Shultz was the first to get the ax, with a great deal of the DNC staff soon to follow.
Now, in the wake of that scandal, the democratic party is halving itself time and again. Soon, as fringe political groups continue to pick up the scraps of the democratic voter base, the party of Hillary Clinton could soon disappear.

“The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) has been receiving membership requests ever since Donald Trump was elected President.
“U.S. citizens with Marxist ideas were among the first to organize following the October Revolution of 1917, while their party, founded in 1919, is soon set to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
“Since its establishment, the USA Communist Party, CPUSA has lived through the inter-war period and Cold War repression, which practically forced the organization underground. Of the country’s 300 million inhabitants, the organization currently has some 500,000 members nationwide and is now growing fast”

Fringe parties such as the Communist Party and the Green Party have struggled to make any real impact on American politics in recent years, that seems to be coming to a end. The Democrat party will fade if they keep there tourist logic stance.

Oh but I was taught to think, especially by my mother who herself was educated in public school. Thought, Reason, and analysis is the bases of my thinking. Being a voracious reader my public education instilled me with the desire to continue with self education since I was to poor to afford formal education but studied a wide variety of subjects such as ancient civilizations, geology, cosmology, astronomy, Paleontology, ecology, evolution, history from the universe to the solar system of religion ancient myths and politics. My public school teachers were all excellent except for one old lady trying to teach English and a substitute teacher in my machine engineering class. I think that was a pretty good record.

At 84 years of age, having already suffered pancreatic and colon cancer, the handwriting is on the wall.

Yes, she knows it and so do her liberal friends. Now with Trump elected she has the excuse to bail out and enjoy her remaining years in solicitude.

For years Denmark had the highest rated public schools in the world before some Asian schools passed them. Denmark decided decades ago that their future lay in educating their children and so they copies the public system in the US and have continued to improve on the system until they were the best. Public education was invented in the US but over the last half century they have been increasingly undermined by The right for reasons I've stayed above. A part of the reason our schools have declined is the culture of celebrity worship and consumerism ect the low status teachers are held in our schools and class size and low level of spending. Charter schools can cherry pick their students weeding out less than desirables while public schools are required to take all comers who reside in the district including mentally disabled. In Denmark Teachers are chosen from the top 10 % of grads, given the same social status as doctors and lawyers. Two teachers are required in each class so students get the individual attention they need so slower students don't fall behind and lose interest. All teachers belong to a union and are paid commensurate with their status in society

If they teach all the various religions that exit in the world then why is Christianity excluded ?

SO Our universities are among the best n the world you say !

Please tell me why the students riot and do their best to keep Conservative speakers from speaking not to mention beating up on Conservatives and squelching free speech !

On campus's today if you don't think the same way as the liberals do your more than likely get beat up ! So again please tell me how great our universities are today !
