Both Hillary and Trump are successful in their own way. Trump got there by working hard and hiring people to create success. Hillary got there by corruption and cronyism. Not too hard to guess what either will do when elected. Do you believe either will change? A vision of America as a land where hard work and success are rewarded is our history. Remember, "The land of opportunity." I for one do not wish to see it become one great big "good ol' boy" network. I am not an elitist and do not wish to be. I just want to make my life as good as I can without a lot of interference. I am tired of hearing it's not fair that some people have more than others. If they have worked hard they deserve it. If they got it through lies and deceit they should be brought to justice. Justice should be the same for black and white, male or female, rich or poor. That is obviously not the path of Mrs C. She got a pass on justice as she has all her corrupt life. I do not want her to be the image of America. Trump may not be ideal but he shure is better than the criminal running against him.

The mainstream political elite of the RNC are not too happy with the choice of Mr. Trump. Kasich didn't even attend and Cruise did his thing. Despite this the RNC respected the votes of its members and they nominated Trump.
The DNC had already anointed Crooked Hillary even before their primaries. They do not respect the wishes of their membership and put her up as the candidate. The democrat political leadership and Hillary are one in the same. They think they know better than everyone else and do not care about anyone else, not even their own constituents.
The Republican Party has had problems but at least they are listening to their constituents. They need only continue this trend to make the party strong. Let the corruption in the Democrat party destroy itself but do not let them continue their destruction of American freedom, rule of law, and respect for the non elites here in fly over country. Send them packing!

What's really telling about the character of a candidate is this; Mr. Trump had a copy of Ted's speech in advance. Trump knew there was no endorsement in there but let him speak anyway. It shows Mr. Trump has class letting that go on stage. It shows he is ready to support other people's choices, even when he might disagree. It shows just how presidential Mr. Trump is.

Wow! That's a lot to digest. While it looks good it is riddled with partial truths. It would take too long to dissect all of it so let me make point 12 the example.
"As long as excessive unemployment exists, excessive federal deficits are due only to low tax revenue, not spending that hires the unemployed to build infrastructure."
Excessive unemployment does certainly impact revenue since the unemployed do not pay taxes and may (but not always) collect unemployment. The federal deficit is impacted by that but is not due only to unemployment. The federal deficit grew under Regan without excessive unemployment. Can you say spending? I would agree that spending which hires the unemployed to build infrastructure would help but so much of the spending goes elsewhere. The whole premise of point 12 is good but not complete enough to have real impact. Most of the other arguments (1-11) are similarly crafted specific truths which are good theoretical points, but similarly miss the big picture.
The sense I get from all those points is that you must think if everybody worked for the government our problems would be solved. That might possibly work if not for governmental corruption. Oh, and one more thing. If everyone worked for the government we would be a communist country by definition. At least in socialism there is private ownership of businesses. If you truly like communism you have 2 choices. Either move to a communist country or elect people here who will usher it in. As I understand it that was not the vision of our founding fathers. That would not be the America that in 200 years rose to a world power eclipsing countries that ruled for centuries. That would not be my America.

The problem here is there is an ever growing number of "americans" that wish to be socialists. They like the transformation they have witnessed during the Obama presidency. They want more. I wish they would all move to Russia, but they are here and not going away. If you think the government is scary, you should be more afraid of these fellow citizens. Logic and reason does no good, they are not interested in the truth. Their votes count as much as our votes. I do see this election as a last chance for America as we know it.

Mr. Trump needs to:
1. Identify the problems... Done.
2. Choose experts to correct the problems... Begun
3. Succeed... We're all waiting

Now about getting elected, he needs all of our help. We must support him and get all our friends and neighbors to do the same. In what world can an intelligent, successful, honest man get beaten by a snake? Not in a world I wish to live in. Time will tell but we cannot leave it to chance.

No doubt the federal administration in the country are morally bankrupt. If there was an ongoing legal action against Mrs. Clinton wouldn't information pertaining to that legal action be kept out of public discussion? Not sure how that would work since the cat is already out of the bag, but I wouldn't worry much. I am thinking this strategy will not do anything to help the "secretary of status quo" in the long run. The facts are out, verified by the FBI. Hard to call it hearsay at this point.

Mrs. T is a naturalized citizen of the USA. She came here as an adult with great joy and pride. She had to learn the language. She no more wrote that speech than I did. She delivered it with grace and poise.
Professional speech writers must know their speeches borrow from each other. They had better, it is their job to know, they are professionals. This is not unprecedented by any means. Look at political speeches historically and you will see it happens quite often. Let's back off the minute details and get on with substantial concepts, like international money laundering i.e. The Clinton Foundation, or perhaps even the destruction of subpoenaed evidence in an investigation or, or, or...

I hesitate to make derogatory statements against people's individual ideas. In this case though I might have to make an exception. Anyone following these posts who does not believe that the intent of the constitution was to insure the individual's right to bear arms either has a problem with comprehension or is trying to fundamentally change this country into something it was never intended to be. Sadly, the president of the United States is one of those people trying to fundamentally change this country. He is known in academic circles as a constitutional scholar. That speaks volumes about academia.

You must remember the constitution was not written to give rights to the citizens. According to the constitution those rights come from God. The constitution was written to keep the federal government from becoming what King George had become. The constitution was about limiting the powers of government.
Individual gun ownership without federal restriction is the intention here. The malitia language is about the citizens organizing and using their guns in a collective manner without the government telling them to disperse. Again you have to think about how guns were used in those days.
You comments about one shot per minute is the reason. Groups of armed citizens must be allowed. It had to do with tactics. Gun ownership was never imagined to be a free for all. Guns were expensive, they did not fall in to the discretionary income part of a family budget. A gun was a big ticket item. Gun rights were to protect the citizens from a government removed from their direct input. No doubt that a more local, directly responsive government was to be regulatory with respect to guns. In that day that more local body would have been more interested in organizing the gun owners, not taking their guns away. Again here, forming a militia.

Mrs. Clinton, really? Is that the best you dems can do? Her only assets that qualify her to be the president are: she is over 35 years old and a natural born citizen. FBI director Comey concluded after an investigation that she destroyed evidence after subpoena, lied to investigators and compromised this country with careless and illegal handling of classified information. That is not conjecture, it is fact. Wow! That's who you want to lead this country, really?

Oh, come on. It's pretty simple. Gun laws are laws. Laws are followed by law abiding people. Law abiding people are not the problem. Lawless people do not follow laws, gun laws or any other laws. There's your problem, getting the lawless people to follow the law.

That would be great! Getting the congress to ratify that means getting the very people who benefit from the system as is, to cut their own income stream. The political class is not very likely to go there. Too bad because that would make a great start to fixing the problem.

I do not have a problem with police. I am white. Black Lives Matter (BLM) claims justice in this country is stacked against them. Director Comey proved to the nation that justice plays favorites, by illustrating Mrs. Clinton's brazen willfull law breaking and saying that it would not be prosecuted. In light of this BLM seems to not be too far off the mark. They see things from their perspective. From my perspective, I agree justice is applied selectively. If you are politically connected you are given a pass. Director Comey proved that beyond any doubt.
There is a bigger picture here. When we apply justice selectively, we create injustice. Continued government injustice contributes to the decline of society. It does not matter if you are black or white, conservative or liberal, our government is doing us a great disservice. From the cop in the street all the way up to the attorney general we need consistency, we need rule of law. It must be fair to all citizens. It has never been more obvious than now due to recent events.
If you look at the government as an organization the answer is clear. We are in need of leadership. Put good leadership in place, that is the answer. Clean up this organization and you will solve the problem. It starts at the top!
