Mr. Cruz. I must in all honestly ask you, why did you not endorse Mr. Trump?

Do you not understand this election, is the most important in the history of our country?

Do you not know, or understand, you have given the democrats fuel, to fire the flames of discourse in this country?

Do you know, that what you did not do tonight, is keep a pledge you made at the start of the republican race for the president. You said you would support, the candidate that receives the nomination of the republican party. That candidate is Mr. Trump. Yet you refused to endorse him.


You have disgraced us all. Are you so petty you could not set your differences aside for one hour and help solidify the party unity for the good of our country. You claim to all you and your father love this country that has given you so much.
Yet in a space of 15 minutes, you managed to slap right in the face, every one that wants to see our country great again.
Including your father.

What you did tonight, to your core supporter's, is one of the most despicable selfish acts, I have witnessed from a sitting senator in my life time. Please don't ever again say you love this country. For you have demonstrated, you are what Mr. Trump said of you, laying Ted. I withdraw my support from you, as well as any financial support I would have given you.

As most I was very disappointed in Ted Cruz as many of the Texas delicates were. He had ideal opportunity to help unite the Republican Party which he did not take advantage of. He should have released all of his delegates and thrown his support behind the GOP candidate. I believe in my heart that if the rolls had been reversed that Trump would have supported Cruz as I would have.
Unfortunately name calling is part of our political process, take a look at some of the old videos of Obama vs Clinton if you think differently!
As they said many years ago sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. Last night it was time for Cruz to prove what type of man he is and step up for the Republican Party by supporting Trump. It is sad to me that he did not take advantage of that opportunity.
By not supporting Trump you are actually supporting Clinton and what a mistake that will be. In the next few days you will see the democrats using the Cruz speach to their advantage.

Well they are both three times seven. Trump was wrong in his attacks involving Cruz's wife but right now the future of our country is more important that spoken words. I had hoped that they both would have come together before Cruz spoke. I would certainly be upset if someone spoke out against my spouse for no reason, but unfortunately when you run for office that is the chance you take. That being said I would not be so upset that I would let my personal feeling get in the way of the serious problems out country is facing today. By not supporting Trump you are supporting Clinton give it a couple days and watch what the democrats will have to say about Cruz's speach!

I agree 100% with you . When this presedential campain started Cuuze was my top choice. As time and debates wore on I changed my mind and Trump became my first choice. Trimp above everything else loves america. He has all the right motives to wanting to be president. Ted Cruze has proven to be a trator as well as a poor loser. I am glad he fell to the wayside and a much stronger leader has won the republican nomanation to run for president. I hope cruz,s supportes have seen the true charactor of this man we were duped into thinking is a Christian. He is a iar and frad. I hope he gets voted out of office.
