My guess is that if they accept the truth about 9/11 they would be obligated to take action to bring the real perpetrators to justice. They are too afraid to take action because they know any group which could murder 3,000 so horribly would not hesitate to do harm to others who speak out. There is not much danger of that because there are too many of us who are speaking out. The perpetrators have to depend on a vast army of internet trolls who constantly use insults instead of debate in an attempt to shut down the truth.
