BB - Oh please. Without their soft spaces, cry-ins, coloring books, puppies, teddy bears, play doh, diapers and binkies, they would be impotent. It is really quite sad. They make such a fuss over a supposed relationship between Trump and Putin - but where was the hue and cry when Hillary sold 20% of America's uranium supply to Russian companies?!! What about Africom Commander, Four Star U.S. General Carter Ham. He received the same "stand down" orders dictated in the emails sent to the White House from Benghazi. The General's patriotism and loyalty to his men was such that his response was "Screw It!" He knew relief was available and he was bound and determined not to allow his soldiers become sacrificial lambs. 30 seconds later General Ham was apprehended and relieved of his command. NICE!!!

Hillary was videotaped stating that she was mandated to remove the batteries from every phone, computer, blackberry, etc. and leave them on the plane when she traveled to Russia nd China. Those two countries were so adept at hacking that they could accomplish the seizure of intel in (her word) a "nanosecond." When she arrived back in the U.S., however, she went home to her personal, UNSECURED SERVER, transferred intel from and to Confidential Documents, exposed our National Security, and further jeopardized the lives of our brave military to injury and/or the ultimate sacrifice. This is the candidate the liberals wanted in the White House? They excoriate Trump for a comment he made 12 years ago, when he was a business man - not a presidential candidate - and excuse the 49 year old husband of THEIR candidate, who WAS THE PRESIDENT, for soiling the People's House while defiling a 22 year old intern. It's just amazing when you consider how far liberal hypocrisy has mutated into downright deception and distortion.

Obama, on the other hand, didn't lie 70% of the time - he was much more consistent. He lied 100% of the time. He even got an award for being LIAR OF THE YEAR. And he certainly did not believe in LITERAL BULLSHIT - His rationale was much more absurd than that!! HE BELIEVED IN LIBERAL BULLSHIT!!!

And those poor, naive, misguided snowflakes? Why they proved their asininity by not only voting for Barry once - BUT TWICE!!!
It's rather sad, really. Americans have been subjected to their country's borders being breached by invaders whose intentions are, at the very least, dubious; who have watched 3,000 of their friends, family, and fellow citizens mercilessly murdered by radical terrorists whose ideology has defined Americans as INFIDELS and promised the establishment of a caliphate; many whose histories are without documentation and unable to be vetted; whose fidelity does not allow for their singular allegiance to America; whose DEMANDS are many, but whose gratitude is wanting.

You would think that those U.S. citizens would wonder at the attitude of an ex-President who seemed more concerned with defending the sensitivities of the perpetrators of these atrocities than being incensed at the vulnerability to which these assassins placed the people who voted him into office??

Now we have President Trump who is determined to restore our military to the strength and caliber it should be; a President who wants to insure that those immigrants who wish to enter our country do not wish to do us harm; a President who loves this country and who, during his campaign in Anaheim, Ca, when he was told the crowd was too large and there wouldn't be time for the National Anthem, refused to continue until the Anthem was sung. Certainly a step up from Obama, who, during HIS first campaign, stood with his hands at his crotch when the Anthem was played. Even wearing a flag pin was too much of a concession for Barry to make!

I figured it out. The left despises Christians because we are independent and our God is God, not government. They support Islam because it's either convert ( which they really don't get) or pay a tax. Liberals have never seen a tax they don't like.

I respect your comment, JF. My take on why the left despises Christians comes from a different perspective. I think Liberals are INTOLERANT of any moral restraint. It is so much more "convenient" to dismiss the church and its tenets and devalue everything which inhibits conscience and scruples. They are so anxious to be free from the least of constraints that they have relegated our culture, dignity and respect to a back seat.

During the Obama Administration we found teachers instructing students to write the name of Jesus on a paper, put it under their foot, and stamp on it; efforts made to take Christ out of Christmas; Merry Christmas being morphed into Happy Holidays; crucifixes in urine; dung thrown on an image of the Blessed Mother and displayed as "art;" and mangers being removed. Atheists displayed a giant sign in Times Square during Christmas that featured an image of Santa Claus, and an equally large picture portraying a suffering Jesus on the cross, along with the phrase, “Keep the Merry — Dump the Myth!” - "'Who Needs Christ During Christmas - Nobody!" Then, of course, there was the Easter Egg Hunt that morphed into Obama's "Spring'' Egg Hunt.

And while Christianity is being ridiculed and degraded, children in Revere, Massachusetts are being forced into studying Islam and reciting the shahada: ("I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.") In order to convert to Islam, one says the shahada. Saying the shahada makes you a Muslim. The "World History" Common Core textbook has a complete chapter on Islam, including the "The Five Pillars of Islam." There are NO CHAPTERS ON CHRISTIANITY OR JUDAISM -- but there are photos of young, blonde, American students being forced to "bow down to Allah" as they kneel in a mosque in Tennessee, while on a "Field Trip."

Christianity is facing elimination in its Biblical homeland. Between a half and two-thirds of Christians in the Middle East have departed or been killed over the past century. Christians have called these countries home for two millennia; CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A WESTERN IMPOSITION OF HISTORICALLY ISLAMIC COUNTRIES. The intolerance and violence towards Christians is attributed to the rising Islamization of Middle Eastern countries. Some of the oppression is government sanctioned and some government permitted; most is government ignored.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that Christianity is “the most persecuted religion in the world.” Rupert Short’s recent research report for Civitas UK confirms Merkel’s claim — we may not want to hear it, but Christianity is in peril, like no other religion. While this is a contest no one wants to win, Short shows that “Christians are targeted more than any other body of believers.” Short is the author of the recently published Christianophobia: A Faith Under Attack. He is concerned that “200 million Christians (10 percent of the global total) are socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs.”

Yet America, especially in the past eight years, seemed overly concerned with Islamaphobia as the number of U.S. Mosques continues to flourish and Catholic/Christian churches decline.
Recent studies show that 80% of mosques preach jihad (through sermons and/or materials) and that more than 95% of Muslims attend such mosques. But the horror doesn’t end there as one considers the issue of funding. While many Muslims claim they raise the money for mosques within the local community, common sense alone would cause one to question how, for example, tiny communities of Muslims could raise millions of dollars to build gigantic mosques. Common sense aside, there is evidence that shows that 80% of mosques in this country receive funds from Saudi Arabia.

We see no charitable outreach of Muslims toward Americans, but as far as the Catholic Church helping the poor, needy, etc.: It provides an estimated 25 percent of the care worldwide for people living with HIV and AIDS. It runs more than 5,000 hospitals, with nearly half of those located in Africa and the Americas - the Catholic Health Association of the United States is also the largest group of non-profit health care providers in the country. The church runs nearly 20,000 clinics around the world, more than 15,000 homes for the elderly, those who are terminally ill, and the disabled, and nearly 10,000 orphanages, mainly in Asia.

Talk about serious!! What about what Eric Holder and his incredibly inept Fast and Furious debacle, during which guns were "walked" to Mexico with the intent of following them on their journey to discover where the Mexican drug cartels were located. IN AN AMAZING DISPLAY OF INCOMPETENCE, HOLDER'S OPERATION FAILED MISERABLY. UNDER HIS OBLIVIOUS SUPERVISION, THE GUNS DISAPPEARED!!!

Some ATF agents became concerned the weapons were being used for crimes. On Dec. 14, 2010, U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed during a gunfight. It was later learned the guns in that shootout were involved in the Fast and Furious operation. Murdered Agent Terry was not only a U.S. Border Patrol agent for 3-1/2 years - he was also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had previously served as a police officer with the Lincoln Park, Michigan, Police Department. That is the kind of courageous man we lost!! And what kind of respect did he get? None at all!! He got a bumbling Attorney General who pleaded with Obama to grant him executive privilege so he didn't have to release certain disputable? documents. Of course, Buddy Barry conceded.

More than 2,000 guns were sold to suspected Mexican drug gangs in the two years of the operation under the Obama presidency. Hundreds of Mexicans and even some U.S. Law Enforcement Officers were also killed, and in lieu of the fact that Holder's. Department of Justice lost track of thousands of guns, it actually BOLSTERED the arsenals of criminal enterprises.

Then to even add insult to injury - rather than deal with the shame and embarrassment of Fast and Furious, the Obama Administration decided to use the fiasco as a political pawn for gun control!!!! The arrogance is just astounding!!!

And so we are supposed to consider Sessions culpable in a scandal because he "talked" to Putin.

And talking about Putin: What should we have done with Hillary? She was warned - AND ADMITTED IT - that BECAUSE OF HACKING VULNERABILITIES, she was mandated to remove the batteries from her phones, blackberry's, etc. BEFORE SHE DISEMBARKED ANY PLANE LANDING IN RUSSIA OR CHINA!! She was so callous about assuring the safety of our men and women in uniform that, when she arrived in the U.S.A., she continued HOME to her UNSECURED PERSONAL SERVER and proceeded to transfer CONFIDENTIAL AND NATIONAL SECURITY INTEL, as usual, without a thought to the additional risks with which she was placing our military.
Sessions is only one of Trump's colleagues that will be stalked by the Democrats for the next four years. It may take that long for them to finally come to the realization that:

In his farewell address, Barack Obama referred to himself 75 times.
In his inaugural address, President Trump referred to himself 3 times.
He referred to "We, the American people" 45 times.

OK! - Now let's blame Trump for the use of experimental drugs!! What a crock!!! Why don't we lay the blame where it really belongs!!! Too many Americans looking for a scapegoat - a patsy to take on the onus of drug addiction. What happened to the tenacity and grit of the U.S. citizen to deal with disappointment, without depending on artificial opiates? The Republicans and Conservatives dealt with eight years of Obama; our brave military dealt with the aftermath of 9/11; but the liberals can't deal with an election that went contrary to their objectives without substance abuse and coloring books? Shameful!!

Yes it is padre. He was my hero, my best friend, my champion. We had 46 years together and it wasn't enough. Just greedy, I guess. He passed five years ago and I still find it difficult to accept. He suffered with so many diseases but never complained. His main concern was me and our sons. He loved working on his classic cars which made me happy as well, because that meant he was home most of the time. We never went anywhere without holding hands and there never was a curse or insult between us. I miss him so much and will miss him every day of my life.

HORACE PARLAN - JAZZ PIANO MAN

Horace Parlan (born January 19, 1931, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American hard bop and post-bop piano player.

He is noted for his contributions to the classic Charles Mingus recordings Mingus Ah Um and Blues & Roots.

In his birth year, Parlan was stricken with polio, resulting in the partial crippling of his right hand. The handicap, though, has contributed to his development of a particularly "pungent" left-hand chord voicing style, while comping with highly rhythmic phrases with the right.

Between 1952 and 1957, he worked in Washington DC with Sonny Stitt and then spent two years with Mingus' Jazz Workshop. In 1973, Parlan moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. He later settled in the small village of Rude in southern Zealand. In 1974 he did a State Department tour of Africa with Hal Singer.

His later work, notably a series of duos with the tenor saxophonist Archie Shepp, including the album Goin' Home, is steeped in gospel music.

He was recipient of the 2000 Ben Webster Prize given by the Ben Webster Foundation.

I loved it, Don. Though jazz piano always seemed too technical for me, I enjoyed Mr. Parlan, as the melody didn't suffer in the performance. Amazing, isn't it, how polio debilitated both Mr. Parlan and Itzak Perlman, yet both overcame their affliction to become superior musicians?

It felt so good. No apologies. Salutes and hand-to-hearts. Parades filled with our marching military and songs with lyrics like "God Bless the U.S.A., instead of a preacher bloviating "God Damn America" in a church. No one calling our police "stupid" and, hopefully, an end to the "Rules of Engagement" stipulated by the Obama Administration in 2012.

In early 2012, the Obama Administration changed the way federal agents were trained to combat Islamic terrorism by eliminating all instructional materials that depicted Muslims or Islam as being prone to violence or terrorism. The White House ordered the FBI to destroy such materials.

Under orders from the Obama Administration, a new military handbook for U.S. troops deployed to the Middle East contained a list of “taboo conversation topics” that soldiers should avoid, including “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,” “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia” (because older Muslim men often take child brides), “directing any criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct,” or “anything related to Islam.” Further, the manual suggests that the increase in deadly attacks by Afghan soldiers against coalition forces (resulting in more than 60 coalition deaths during 2012) was due to Western ignorance of Afghan culture, rather than to Taliban infiltration of those forces: “Better situational awareness/understanding of Afghan culture will help better prepare [troops] to more effectively partner and to avoid cultural conflict that can lead toward green-on-blue violence.” (GIVE ME A BREAK!!)

So Welcome President Trump. Your heart seems to be with our troops and our veterans. They have not had an easy time of it, as your predecessor seemed to be more concerned with the sensitivities of our enemies, than the survival of our soldiers.

Boy, are you ever right!!! Lewis stated that this is the first inauguration he ever boycotted. Have I ever mentioned, or have you ever heard, that Democrats have this proclivity to LIE? Well, Lewis did!! Ironic thing is, Trump called him on it. You see, Lewis was also MIA during BUSH'S inauguration. Really, you can't make this stuff up!! When Lewis realized Trump had exposed his lie, he was forced to acknowledge that, YES, he had boycotted Bush's inauguration as well.

Guess Lewis believes in a one party system - like the COMMUNIST party of Korea, North Korea, China, Cuba and Iraq. You think maybe Lewis forgot that to be a citizen of America, you have to take an oath: "I pledge allegiance to the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, etc."??

That is my primary reason for supporting Trump. The corruption in the Obama/Hillary Administration was just too rampant. However, I honestly feel Trump loves this country. I believe he will grant us what Obama promised, but abrogated - hope and transparency. Dear God, we've already been subjected to eight years of apologies and criticisms - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Already there are over 53 Democrats who do not intend to attend Trump's inauguration. If they're so forlorn, too immature and weak to come to grips with their loss of the election, I wish they would just leave. We have REAL men and women on deployment, losing life and limb for our safety and freedom. It would be unconscionable to consider any of our best and bravest to suffer debilitation because of these malcontents.
