Apparently there are 15 states( you could predict which ones) turned down money from the federal government to feed children during the summer. It is called EBT that they said they didn’t want, or they didn’t think 6 months was long enough to fill out the paper work. In Alabama that amounted to turning down 65 M in food for families with children. EBT stands for Early Benefits Transfer. In Alabama that amounts to 545,000 children who will be hungry all summer because their states legislators and dept of Health and Human Services, didn’t think little kids should have enough to eat. My God, what have we come to with adults making these decisions. It is very very hard for me to believe that the people who decided this are honest, decent Americans. Who are these people anyway?

NO - Alabama did not pull SNAP out of their state!! They got rid of all the extra all benefits that were give during the pandemic when the pandemic ended! So 'they can starve little kids' is a bold face lie!! I do agree, however, that some in Congress pull laws out of thin air or change laws to fit their agenda and ignore not only the Constitution but the Constitutions of their own states!

No you are wrong. In March 400,000 households in AL with children saw their benefits cut. All you need to do is look up the multiple sources on line.
