Except for the cinnamon, it wasn't bad the one time I tried it.
Remember Corporal Klinger on M.A.S.H? He used to brag about Tony Packo's in Toledo. They serve their chili over dumplings. Pretty good. Got beans though.

Skyline Chili, grew up with it. Make it at home without the cinnamon. 3 ways- speg, chili and cheese, 4 ways-special, chili cheese and onions, 5 ways........ect

Mine did that too.
People put all kinds of weird things into chili - or what they call chili lol - but I wouldn’t think of cinnamon. Doesn’t sound good

We have left over chili from yesterday. Not enough for a meal for the two of us, so, I have a plan for it.
A couple of huge spuds, cheese, chives, butter, sour cream, green chilis, and top it with the left over chili.
It's a meal out of a potato.
And, it's delicious!

Chili is an excellent topper for many things!
I can't help but wonder if the chili beaners here would top their chicken and dumplings with it. Beans and all.
