Bill Maher said of those young people who said let's try Socialism, said "why don't we shit in the kitchen and eat in the bathroom, we haven't tried that yet?" There's a lot of things we haven't tried because cooler heads prevail! But joe biden and his administration has gone the farthest into Socialism that any administration before it! Just one question to the biden administration? Once you kill the middleclass completely where is the money going to come from? There may not be a middleclass by 2024!

And as a Libertarian you’ll be better off because …..?

They are one in the same, Nazis were Marxists. This has been proven to you time and time again. Just accept that your ideology is deadly and has NEVER worked.

I'm an independent and have been for 20+ years, ewer opinions of me are inconsequential and wrong

So before Hitler "changed" the name of his party from Social Democrats of Germany to the National Socialist German Workers Party he wasn't "really" a socialist...it was "just the vehicle" he used to try to force socialism all over the world. OBVIOUSLY...Hitler must have thought socialism was the way to implement his agenda. He also spoke about his disdain for capitalism/his desire to force his SOCIALIST agenda on everyone. American leftists want to change history and claim that just because Hitler NAMED his party the National SOCIALIST German Workers Party/enacted SOCIALIST policies/partnered with other left-wing/socialist/communists it doesn't mean Hitler was a socialist...only to Democrat/Communists who gladly supported Hitler before the war broke out...of course American leftists/Democrat/Communists defend Hitler's agenda...it is THEIR agenda

I have made a compilation of the replies that you have given to different opinions and what I have drawn in conclusion is that you make statements without any basis. For example, when you write: "That was the name of the party before he changed it to the Nazis”.
Nazi is an acronym for national-socialism, it is a term created by the left in order to hide that this ideology was also socialist, and in the same way they have used the generic term "fascism". But just as the leaders of National Socialism always renounced the label of belonging to the right wing, which they detested, Hitler always spoke of the National Socialist party or movement and not "Nazi", something that is perfectly understood from German in the speeches from him
"Fascism", or rather national-socialism, was born from uniting the revolutionary socialist fervor between the wars with the nationalism of each country, it was a third way, more moderate compared to Lenin's communism in that it did not intend to destroy the nation or it tolerated the private property of the middle classes and was focused against the capitalism of the oligopolies, but within the revolutionary socialist and anti-capitalist dialectic that sought to control the economy by the state with numerous collectivizations, and that did not renounce, like the communists (or Marxist socialists -Leninists) to control society by imposing a totalitarian dictatorship.
Curiously and amusingly, what a leftist has historically hated the most is the ideology that most resembles it and that also arose from it, but in annoying competition, and as a hated heresy with respect to the matrix of Marxist socialism in the struggle to win over the working class and the middle classes in those moments in which anti-system ideologies gain strength, that is, in periods of capitalist crisis. Some tried to carry out the world revolution and others the national revolution, and both ended up leaving millions of victims on the bloody path towards their utopia, and although the propaganda that goes back to Comintern times speaks of opposite extremes, in reality they are branches of the common stock of socialism.
As for you being a supporter of John Maynard Keynes. Keynesian economics dominated economic theory and policy after World War II until the 1970s, when many advanced economies suffered from inflation and slow growth, a condition termed "stagflation." The popularity of Keynesian theory then waned because it had no appropriate policy response to stagflation. Currently with the policies implemented by this administration we are heading towards stagflation.

You should read the whole paragraph next time.

The party line in the USA is still what hitler wanted. I did read to the end, but way too boring to enjoy.

There is a phrase that is attributed to Einstein that he never said, but that contains a truth that cannot be challenged: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results."
According to that phrase, socialism is a crazy thing and you know it from the experience you had in Holland.
Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland have experienced the path of socialism and had to change course, because they were headed for disaster.
Those who propose "'Democratic Socialism'" here in the USA always use those countries as an example, blatantly lying.

Quite right! I believe Holland changed course as well, but I have no references to support this, only my daughter's statements: she and her husband work for the Dutch government and it is still Center-Leftist I am told.
