These documents were shown to the FBI two months before the raid, from what I've heard. They requested that Trump padlock the area they were in. That was done. Unlike Hillary's secret documents on her server, nobody could get access to these.

As far as taking the Fifth in front of a NY Court, it's what he should have done. They are not looking for crimes. They are looking for dirt they can leak to the media.
