I guess lefties don't have to roll them down that far.

I hate for you to have to live in a place you do not consider exceptional. Perhaps you should move to a utopia.....

To have exceptional power, in world affairs, among nations, is overall not good. It's only necessary in a practical way in a zero-sum game; but even then it's questionable. For example, the U.S. has enormous (exceptional) military power which is more than it needs and, after a point, acquiring yet more military power has been counter-productive and tends to make the world a worse place.

Some think the U.S. is exceptionally morally good. I don't think so.

Exactly _what_ the U.S. is truly exceptional in (aside from its military power) is yet another matter. Possibly one thing it's exceptional in is having more mass shootings and/or more deaths by guns, in civilian life, than other countries have.

Hilarious! Especially considering he often posts things that obviously aren’t true.

Dishonesty is a quality you admire then?

Woodguru is a good poster. I've noticed he posts true things. I haven't noticed him posting any false things. Someone else was using the word "smart" to _criticize_ him, and I was reacting to that situation. Smart is simply a good thing.

My small inclination to answer this post of yours was dampened with your "Cannot tell what a 'woman' is" comment (which I think is a foolish comment). When you post a comment like that, I start to think that the discussion would be of little value.

What part of "Most Americans believe life is sacred. Abortion is taking an innocent life." don't you understand? It's a pretty clear statement....no more words are needed for that point to be made, which is that life is sacred and abortion is taking that sacred life away. And of course it's human life that is being discussed here

Thank you for explicitly saying that _you_ think so.

Who's being condescending now? You wrote: "...did you think he meant a turtle...or a cat? Maybe have someone sit down and go over each word with you so will understand better?"

A person concerned with ethics might have been discussing life more generally than just human life.

Now a first followup question: Why would _only_ human lives be sacred?

Taking life away from a human being is not authorized by God for man. God gives us life, and He takes it away. No man has the "right" to supersede God. Ever. For any reason. Apparently, you who do not have faith in God seem to think taking on this decision to end a life is okay for you to rationalize by stating reason after reason why it should be okay to kill another human being. But for every single reason you give, the one thing that remains, that you want to "forget" is that the baby should not be held responsible for the adults' actions. The price of a life should never be for inconvenience, rape, incest or anything except danger to the mother's life. And I question even that as an excuse to kill a baby with its whole life ahead of it.

And in my opinion, it's just a matter of time before science and technology make it possible to see without doubt that life begins at the time of conception - fertilization. We're almost there...so far, this is what scientists are seeing now: During the first 24 hours, once the sperm and egg bind to each other, the membranes of these two cells fuse, creating in less than a second a single hybrid cell: the zygote, or one-cell embryo. To protect his or her bodily integrity, within minutes the zygote initiates changes in its ionic composition, releasing zinc in a spark that induces β€œegg activation,” first modifying the surrounding zona pellucida blocking further sperm binding to the cell surface. Cooperation between sperm and egg components to achieve replication of DNA, cell division, and growth occurs as maternally (mother) and paternally (father) derived factors in the zygote begin interacting with and chemically modifying each other to initiate the final round of meiotic division in the maternally derived nucleus to enable DNA replication.

That is within 24 hours of fertilization....but they're looking at even those 24 hours in an effort to see deeper into the cells and their immediate activity upon that fertilization. It won't be long before this argument about when life begins will be settled by science.
Taking life away from a human being is not authori... (show quote)

It will only be settled for each individual according to their beliefs. For me its when the zinc spark happens (observable under a microscope). This is called the spark of life. Good enough for me. When the soul enters the body is another matter entirely and I won't go into that here.

So what is it woody, on one page you say "America isn't that great. On the next page your saying "it's a great country". Are you so wishy-washy that you don't remember what you post. Or just don't believe in what you post. That's one of the reasons that I can't trust anything you post
But I'll say it again hope you listen as it may actually save your life; Don't use a used condom

You're not very smart, are you? Did you ever graduate from any school anywhere?

According to independent and university research on homicide rates in countries around the globe,
the Central American countries have the highest homicide rates in the world.
Based on the number of homicides per 100,000 citizens, the rates for Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Venezuela range between 50 and 90 killings per 100,000 people.
The homicide rate in American is 4.8 killings per 100,000 people.

This guy is a verbiose idealistic lemming who was born the day before yesterday.

He travels around here spewing his anti American jargon to anyone that is willing to endure eye strain.

He needs to travel outside of the U.S. a LOT MORE cuz he clearly doesn't understand what American Exceptionalism is.

All we can hope is that it gets fixed in a future release like maybe robertV113.

Well, why the most brilliant mind on earth (next to Brockobamma, of course) is our new super shaper for the Supreme Court Ketanji Kommie Brown, and xhe couldn't find the answer that has bewildered Geniuses since the beginning, What is a woman?
If Ketanji can't answer that, no one can.
Not even The Great Brockobamma.
