Absolutely Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and without a doubt he is an American. The birthers hate him so much that they are willing to believe any lie about him that they hear. They would Rather have Ted Cruz who was born in Canada as president even though he is clearly not elgible.

migeli-the FBI probably could find out a lot about Obama if they were asked. Similarly, the investigative reporters at each network could have found out as well if they had been directed to do so. It appears that Obama's whole life has been predicated on lies so it is hard to accept anything he says. For example, if he is a US citizen but enrolled in college as a foreign student that is a lie. He certainly would not spend over a million dollars to hide his grades or attendance record so it has to be something more sinister than that. We can only surmise that what he is hiding could harm his presidency or why hide anything in the first place. How many young men, with no money and basically raised by a single mom, get into Harvard ? Had this man received the same kind of detailed vetting that all other presidents before him received he probably would still be in Chicago. His affiliations with questionable characters and the statements he has made about his preference for Muslims leaves me very uncomfortable about where his allegiance really lies. His habitual lying is disturbing to say the least. The latest planned fiasco on our southern border is just one more reason why I do not trust this man at all. Good Luck America !!!

migeli-several years ago when this subject first came up there was a brief segment on one of the networks where a reporter was talking to family members in Kenya and they pointed to what they claimed was the hospital where Barack was born. It appeared once or twice and I never saw that same clip again. There were several more interviews with the family but that particular portion was edited out. So, who knows what the truth is. I do not personally care where he came from but I am concerned about what he is doing to the country. We have had five years of more programs, more regulations, more unemployment,more welfare families, more food stamps, more people without health insurance, more illegals entering the country, more scandals that they can effectively cover up and to add to the misery our economy shrank by 2.9% this past quarter and its all Bush's fault. My question is if this is all Bush's doings why is Obama collecting a pay check ? Good Luck America !!!

A lot of unanswered questions , and all of us arguing who is to blame.I don't know either.Thanks , at least , for an intelligent response, and not a lot of namecalling, like I see from others.

They all are public domain...hospital birth announcements to government records office, government police records of citizen misdemeanor and felony charges, real estate attorney record of property sale to government records office. If you want a copy, there's a fee but less if you just want a summary list like a newspaper uses. The newspaper always published the list and then folk can buy the paper, see the list and get leads to peddle things like attorney services, diaper services and landscaping. Others just like to read that stuff to see if there's anyone they know.

Nowadays it is being done more like you said. I think it's been about 10-20 years that the hospital system recommended ending the practice unless the parents sign off. It was recommended to be stopped because there were some baby abductions nationwide where investigators found the newspaper list was being used by syndicate criminals to target victims.

Don't you get tired of trotting out that lame "67" excuse everytime impeachment comes up? If the Senators on both sides of the aisle are so dishonest and vote merely party line then you are correct. However, no charges will be brought before the Senate until such time as the public clamor for the action is so loud that no one can ignore it. At that point, do you really think that sitting Democrat Senators will risk their re-election by backing a lame duck?

Firstly, we are suppose to know about all candidates' history-no exceptions- BEFORE they're eligible to run. There are two things that lead me to believe he was not born here. The first is that in June 2004 after Obama made a brief appearance somewhere a newspaper in Kenya called the Sunday Standard wrote an article saying that there was a rising star in American politics named Barack Obama who lwas born in Kenya. The second point is that some time when Nobama began running one or more members of the Kenyan Parliment said that he was a son of this-meaning Kenyan-soil. Bad sources?

Your first comment underscores the nexus of Obama's presidency and the "scandals" that have been popping up right and left. There is an accusation made or an issue arise that requires a response to either confirm or deny. Instead, we get a lot of beating around the bush (no pun intended) or obfuscations. Questions are never resolved.

That doesn't mean there is a conspiracy afoot, but it is an almost foregone conclusion that not getting a straight answer that would resolve the issue will result in speculation. Whether it is the birth certificate, college funding as a foreign student, draft registration documentation, social security number, travel to forbidden locales, Fast and Furious, the IRS intimidations, Benghazi, etc... when you leave the answers to questions unmet, you invite people to use their imaginations.

Dubious for sure. Of course, vetting of the candidates is the responsibility of the Speaker of the House... so Nancy Pelosi can be blamed for not avoiding this obvious conflict of information. If one cares to remember, the issue was initially brought up by Hillary Clinton in the primaries.

I remember that and also remember it was the Hillary campaign team that sent that stuff out. It turned out to be true that the paper wrote that and said it but it wasn't a correct statement.

His Dad had a scholarship at Univ of Hawaii while back in Kenya, he had a wife and two kids. It's highly unlikely he took Ann Dunham back to Kenya to have the baby because the only way he was able to afford the transportation to Hawaii was from the scholarship sponsors. Why would they pay for him to fly back to Kenya when the scholarship is in Hawaii? Then, if he did take her back there to have the baby, wouldn't she then start asking questions about his family which would lead to someone tipping her off about his real wife and two kids there?

The conspiracy theory just doesn't add up to normal, practical judgment.
