Three years after Obama released an official copy of his birth certificate, and a long form copy of his official birth certificate, a poll in 2011 found that only less than half of Republicans thought Obama was definitely or probably born in the United States.

What causes us to believe disproven things and continue to believe them no matter what the evidence?

I would be very interested in your answers to the following and any comments you want to make.

Did you ever believe Obama was or probably was not born in the U.S.?

Do you still believe he was not born in the U.S.?

If you changed your mind from believing he was not born in the U.S. to believing that he was, what caused you to change your mind?

If you now believe he was not born in the U.S., what causes you to believe that he was not?

Of course he was born in the U.S. Unless I was misinformed, Hawaii is one of the 50 states.

The only reason this birther crap ever started was because many in the GOP are incredibly sore losers and they wished to cancel out the results of presidential elections.

A right wing TV/Radio cottage industry, pushing books, speeches, banners, pen and pencil sets, pennants and mega $$$ salaries, for shilling impeachment delusions, has caused a significant percentage of the GOP to go into Rumplestilskin temper tantrum mode.

OK, there is now one Democrat that has said the FBI couldn't find out where Obama was Born. The FBI know where Obama was born and it was in Kenya and is a Muslim, and was taught Communism and is queer all Obama's life. Obama did not attend any colleges or if so, there is no proof. The only proof that we know about Obama is that he was a Community Organizer and now president.

I don't know how you could call anybody ignorant. The only stupid and ignorant people in America is, Democrats because, you believe in Communism. If you believe in Obama and the Democrat Party they believe in Communism, then you do to. People like you are what is wrong with America.

Hmmm, you are going through life with a birth certificate that says you were born in Poland and you say you weren't. Is Obama like you and accepting something like that is not true.

I had accepted his birth as being in Hawaii but something about the freezing of college records has always worried me. I want to see his enrollment records from that college in California. I want to see what country he said he was a citizen of when he enrolled there. I would like to see some proof that he graduated from Columbia and Harvard . That would be only copies of his graduation papers and they just aren't available. Nope I don't care what his grades were like or what classes he took in either school but I would like to see proof of his graduation from them.

I would certainly like to see how he got into Harvard and who paid for the whole thing. I do not believe that he borrowed any money through the government program.

Ok, lots of things to see and we don't get to see even one of them. That makes me think there is something fishy about him.

But surely he could allow us to have at least one of the things I mentioned and most of us would be satisfied. Just the enrollment papers from Occidental College would be fine for me.

Why do you people always go back from Obama to previous presidents to show us reasons why he can't come out with the truths. Just because somebody else did it is no reason why today we have to do it too.

Everything in obama book about who he is, his background has been proven false, he lies about everything so why can I believe anything he says. Was he born in USA, I'm not convinced he was, based on the woman at his birth and her statement. As well as others statements in his home town. His student out of country collected funding documents.
I understand the hospital was built two years after his birth. I understand there are typing fonts on his birth certificate not used until nearly 20 years later.
I'm not convinced he was born in the USA, still researching. Why should I ?
