I have never, ever, found anything from Maher to be funny, or even bordering on humorous.

I could agree with the sometime ignorance of O'reilly. I can't comment on Limbaugh since I rarely have listened to him, but from what I recall, he is far from ignorant, unlike you proggies.

I don't think that poor BD knows what the word, acrimony, means. Maybe someone should explain it to him.

A couple of weeks ago someone from DirectTV was trying to get me to sign up for HBO and I had to say that I hate to surf and have to kick away Maher and he is on different hours every night of the week. It was Maher that drove me away from HBO and I won't take them again till he is gone. Maybe we will get lucky and he will retire.

Endeavoring to explain anything to him is an exercise in futility. He is lost in his own little proggie dream world.

BD, you are so right about the young female voters but throwing in the black ones says nothing for or against any of them. Today I listened to a montage of his speeches from 2008 through 2012 and in all of them the loud cheering was done by mostly female voices. When he was talking to military groups that were mostly male there was very little applause, even. Maybe the way The One is handling the Iraqi problem of today will awaken some of them.

I have to ask you a question even though you don't see any reason to answer things like that. Do you really believe that it has been young, black women who have decided both those elections? I saw all kinds of young white women cheering their heads off for him at both 2008 and 2012 campaigns and I am sure that most of them voted for him. I have to make a statement about this that there were more of them who voted for him than of the black persuasion. Now tell me how wrong I am.

Roy, no need to reinvent the wheel: google republican loss 2012, autopsy. You should find lots of articles analyzing the Republican failure to reach out to certain demographic groups, including young women, young men, blacks, and Hispanics.

Apparently, in 2014, the GOP is none to eager to apply the things learned from that autopsy.

All the Democratic strategists can say is, "suit yourselves".

Hey, if the GOP wants their philosophies and policies implemented, they might want to think about running better presidential campaigns. Then they get to choose the Attorney General.

There are consequences for choosing a small tent that can only hold an ever-shrinking angry white, bible thumping, lock and load base.

"Cranky geezers are us" is not an appealing thing to young, minority, and fertile female American voters. You know...those folks who decide national elections.

Considering the desire of the GOP to triple-down on their failed 2008 and 2012 presidential campaign strategies, there really is not much concern that the shoe will ever be on the other foot. Small, angry white conservative tents, don't win the White House.

It is clear, from the party's willingness to write off Blacks, Hispanics, and the majority of women, that they have decided to go the way of the Whigs. The Eric Cantor loss is a foreshadowing of even bigger losses, as the Hispanic demographic (except for Cubans) votes massively for the Democrats.

Brian - is this what you and the young, minority, fertile female votes really want? We always hear your negativity to our posts. How would you move this Nation forward. Give us your best ideas on immigration, employment, and share your view of freedom of speech, the IRS, Obamacare, etc. Be King for a Day, and enlighten us, you now have the authority.

Here is a quick reply that I am guessing Brian will for the most part agree with.

As far as immigration reform grant resident alien status to family's already here deporting those convicted of serious crimes and set a time limit for them to apply for and become citizens or return to their country of origin. To curtail future illegal immigration make it a felony with a mandatory prison sentence to employ an undocumented immigrant, no hope of a job will stop the flow of illegal immigration.

To increase employment borrow money while interest rates are low and repair and rebuild our infrastructure. Roads, rail, schools airports, power grid, bridges harbors, and invest in public education from pre school to Phd. Combine this with a tax on corporate holdings to encourage corporate investment in workers and severely tax capital that is moved off shore.

Freedom of speech is sacrosanct but speech is not money and only individuals should have unlimited free speech. so called corporate speech is a joke and is often very harmful to our society.

Change the ACA to allow a single payer option, remove rules precluding the Government from bargaining with drug company's to reduce drug prices and put the savings into drug research at public university's.

Give the IRS the authority and manpower to aggressively go after tax cheats, and audit things like shady non profits.

Kevyn, I agreed with most of your post. However you put a giant turd in the punch bowl.

It's nice that you posted an, "If I ruled the country" post. I hope that made you feel better. In the real world, especially in California, people don't ask to see the immigration papers of someone who mows their lawn, babysits their children, or cleans their house.

I don't know anyone who wants to go around investigating the status of their Hispanic neighbors.

I have interacted with hundreds of Hispanic folks. I have never cared to know about their "status". My daughter teaches Hispanic children. By law she is forbidden to inquire about the parents immigration status. She has no problems with that......nor do I...nor do most residents of California.

There are reasons the GOP, here, is basically extinct.

You really want to imprison somebody who hires an undocumented worker (otherwise known as a human being)??? Really??????

Eric Holder’s tenure in the Justice Department has been marked by scandal after scandal.

Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department gave bad advice to President Obama and the Pentagon in the controversial Bergdahl prisoner trade that the president could ignore federal law requiring prior notification to Congress. This is just the latest example of how Holder helps the administration ignore the rule of law and crafts his “legal” opinions based on the desired political outcome, not the actual state of the law.

Under Eric Holder, the Justice Department has stood the old Ronald Reagan maxim “trust but verify” on its head and adopted a “trust and we won’t let you verify” approach to its activities.

You made lots of sense there until you spoke out in favor of Single Payer health care. When will people like you realize that if the government controls the payment of that you have socialized medicine and that most people will sit back and let them get by with more and more? I would say never since so many of your heavy left leaners still haven't figured out what Single Payer means.

Why, of course, they will audit themselves. Maybe Eric Holder could select some outstanding characters outside the IRS.

Haven't many of the scandals been audited by the people who pulled the scandal as Obama desired?

Calling black people who manage to be conservative, Uncle Tom, and other names like that seem to be the way you people try to keep blacks on your side.
