Obama’s Enforcer

Eric Holder’s tenure in the Justice Department has been marked by scandal after scandal.

Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department gave bad advice to President Obama and the Pentagon in the controversial Bergdahl prisoner trade that the president could ignore federal law requiring prior notification to Congress. This is just the latest example of how Holder helps the administration ignore the rule of law and crafts his “legal” opinions based on the desired political outcome, not the actual state of the law.

Under Eric Holder, the Justice Department has stood the old Ronald Reagan maxim “trust but verify” on its head and adopted a “trust and we won’t let you verify” approach to its activities.

Hey, if the GOP wants their philosophies and policies implemented, they might want to think about running better presidential campaigns. Then they get to choose the Attorney General.

There are consequences for choosing a small tent that can only hold an ever-shrinking angry white, bible thumping, lock and load base.

"Cranky geezers are us" is not an appealing thing to young, minority, and fertile female American voters. You know...those folks who decide national elections.

Brian - is this what you and the young, minority, fertile female votes really want? We always hear your negativity to our posts. How would you move this Nation forward. Give us your best ideas on immigration, employment, and share your view of freedom of speech, the IRS, Obamacare, etc. Be King for a Day, and enlighten us, you now have the authority.

Why can't you answer Unclet's queries? Your post is blatantly inadequate.

BRian;
I know, by your post, that it is totally acceptable for an Attorney General to twist, warp, and bend constitution law until it looks nothing like constitutional law. The Attorney General is charged with upholding the law established by the US Constitution and not the implementing of philosophies and policies. We are a nation of law and not a nation of opinion. When the highest law enforcement official in our country elects to circumvent established law, our country is on a very slippery slope. The shoe will eventually be on the other foot and liberals will squeal like a stuck pig if a conservative Attorney General acts in a similar manner as Eric Holder. You opinion is exactly that _ your opinion.

Young, minority, and fertile females had better hope to God that a conservative Attorney General treats every US citizen equally and does not show partiality along the same vein as our current Attorney General. I do not understand your comments. You rationalize that conservatives are responsible for the misconduct of our current Attorney General. Are you completely brain dead??????????

I am not here to write a doctoral dissertation. I am hardly obliged to respond to someone else's request that I turn in a paper on "the world according to me". Why don't you put down all YOUR opinions on these matters?

I have previously, and on other threads, without the acrimony you exhibit.

Acrimony is sometimes not a bad thing. In the hands of the right person, like Bill Maher, or Jon Stewart, it is quite funny.

In the hands of Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, it's just plain ignorant and mean.

I have never, ever, found anything from Maher to be funny, or even bordering on humorous.

I could agree with the sometime ignorance of O'reilly. I can't comment on Limbaugh since I rarely have listened to him, but from what I recall, he is far from ignorant, unlike you proggies.

BD, you are so right about the young female voters but throwing in the black ones says nothing for or against any of them. Today I listened to a montage of his speeches from 2008 through 2012 and in all of them the loud cheering was done by mostly female voices. When he was talking to military groups that were mostly male there was very little applause, even. Maybe the way The One is handling the Iraqi problem of today will awaken some of them.

I have to ask you a question even though you don't see any reason to answer things like that. Do you really believe that it has been young, black women who have decided both those elections? I saw all kinds of young white women cheering their heads off for him at both 2008 and 2012 campaigns and I am sure that most of them voted for him. I have to make a statement about this that there were more of them who voted for him than of the black persuasion. Now tell me how wrong I am.
