I am well aware that both parties get us into interminable and non winnable wars - I believe Eisenhower coined the term "military industrial complex" and warned us about it-I could be wrong about that, but I think I remember it. Just that Dems tend to constantly blame Republicans for all that is wrong with this country, and totally ignore their party's hand in it. The fact is, the actual fault lies with the American voter who continually votes for the members of Congress, and the state legislatures-many of them who should have retired or been retired years and years ago. If you have been in office for 30 years, and have accomplished little, if anything, why on earth does anyone expect that to change with another term? As to rule of law, we have not been a nation under any kind of equitably applied rule of law for many years. There is no justice in this country anymore. Evidence of that is that none of the liars and thieves have been indicted or even brought before any court or any grand jury-they simply go on filling their pockets and that of their friends, selling the country to the one who can give them the most power and cash. Result? The rioting and looting which some called "reparations" because the businesses have insurance-of all the convoluted excuses for any action that takes the cake, imho. BLM is even in line for the Nobel Peace Prize, even though their stated objective is no rules, no government, only mayhem and destruction-I never thought I would live long enough to see this day. But here it is and the people either do not care, and will wake up one day to their everlasting sorrow that they destroyed their own country and themselves along with it, or it is precisely what the American people have become, and deserve the government THEY have chosen.
