Social Security Taxing I know you don't want to see this.....but with April Tax time coming up.....here it is like it or not!

The more people that see this the better. The media will not put it out.

Prior to 1983, social security payments were not taxable. In 1983, Joe Biden voted in favor of taxing 50% of social security payments - and it passed.

In 1993, Joe Biden doubled down and was the deciding vote in raising the percentage taxed on social security from 50% to 85%.

Joe Biden is not a friend to working folks - and certainly not to retirees. His voting record on social security over the years is one slap in the face to retirees after another.

Now he wants to tax our 401k's and IRA's (it's on page 78 of the Dems' platform) and he also wants to introduce a 3% annual tax on our homes.

The record of Joe Biden shows he never misses an opportunity to raise a tax or introduce a tax to hurt the middle class and retirees.

Why Was None Of This Information Made Public By The RNC or Trump's People, Before The Election??? Don D.

Scary? That S. O. B. is frightening and it is the fault of every lib. The steal happened and you are all to blame for going along with it. I hope it really hits home when he starts raising your taxes and you really see how it affects your life. Damn fools.

Sell your crib to someone who can afford it. Oh and tell the folks here how Trumps tax hike made it so you couldn’t deduct your property tax.

Way to go Kevy, always tell the half of the story you like, never the truth about anything. Trump is gone & you still have him in your head. Biden is not running anything, Obama is, so at least give the devil his due & not Biden. Taxing SS is the only thing that sorry excuse ever did remotely on his own in 50 years, really something qualifying him to be President to people like you.

>>>I know this is about your level of comprehension. That eliminated the unfair practice whereby you could deduct it on one state, but not another. Fairness. Aren't you Dems about fairness? Or has the Senile Shitgibbon bamboozled you all. Pathetic.

So Congress gives us 6% on the money they "borrow" from our SS and Medicare trust funds, bitterly complaining about having to pay us back at all, after having drawn income, Medicare and SS taxes from the money we earned until retirement, then taxes us AGAIN.......................for withdrawing OUR OWN MONEY.

What would happen if a bank charged a fee for depositing money in a savings account, then charged a fee to withdraw that same money, complained about folks withdrawing some of their money, all the while acting like those savings deposits were THEIR money spending it however they wanted? Yep, so why aren't we upset with the congress doing that very thing?

He must be one that still lives with his parents and as smart as he seems to be, his parents might not even be aware.

DNA runs deep.

Please stop allowing your hatred to skew your perspective. You are just being argumentative now. The standard deduction was increased in 2018. At the present it seems fewer are filling out the long form and more are taking the standard deduction now. I have given here a simple way you can look that up if you desire https://marketrealist.com/p/are-property-taxes-deductible-in-2020/
Calling someone's home their crib is using an extremely mean word to describe something another loves and you have that disclaimer at the end of your comment. I worry that Dante might have a home for you somewhere.

Something not spoken of much is the idea that he would really like to reverse the provision of "stepped up basis" in the sale of a home or other personal inherited asset. Here is what it is now-your parents purchase a home for say, $75000-quite a while ago, and they live there for many years, updating and improving as they go along. They then sell the home for $200000.00. No tax consequences because it is a personal residence. Great. But instead, they live their till they die and the children inherit the home. FMV $200000.00 That becomes the basis upon which gain or loss is figured at sale. That is how it works at the present time.

I have heard through some sources that I use to keep up with tax rules both proposed and passed, that Biden now favors eliminating that provision. Thus, parents sell the home-still no tax consequences for them. If the elimination of the stepped up basis becomes part of the tax code, the consequences for the kids selling the parents home they inherited would be horrendous. $125,000.00 in gain at whatever tax bracket the kids are in. In addition to any inheritance tax, state tax or local tax brought by state or local governments. I would advise that all who own property they intend to be part of their estate, please watch this carefully, and contact your representatives if this is sent to the House, particularly, since all money bills must start there. Pay close attention to what is happening-taxes may well be raised while you are unaware. I hope he does not try to get this through by EO-isn't he the one who said "people who rule by EO are dictators-we are a democracy-we need consensus"?

Actually not a lie-he did not promise to find consensus-he simply stated that his definition of dictator is what he is currently doing-and the Left was afraid Trump was wanting to be a dictator-ah, how wrong can they be? But they will not recognize it, of course-there is none so blind as he who would not see.

This should be pretty easy for them to pull off, since people immediately think tax rules are for others, or it is much too complicated for them to understand, or they are simply too lazy to check it out. But then, complaining at the nearest bar or to your tax preparer, or your neighbor is so much more effective. Egad.
