This could be the "new norm"?
Will the corrupt Socialist Democrat Establishment Elite try to shut down America every time a new Flu, Virus, or Disease comes along?

Beware the vaccine (especially those from Bill Gates who also developed the Covid-19 Virus).

If we don't get our economy cranking soon the curve of the downward trend will steepen. More and more businesses will shutdown, job losses will continue to climb and if we reach a 30% unemployment rate, we will be in a deep depression. Or worse.

In 1922, 160 German marks equaled one US dollar, by the end of 1923, the mark had depreciated to 4.2 trillion marks = $1.00. The unemployment rate in Germany at the time was 30%, one third of the workforce. Germans were starving, often with out electricity, couldn't heat their homes. A loaf of bread cost 200 billion marks, and Germans were burning billion mark notes in their stoves to stay warm or cook a potato.

The consequences of this economic shutdown could easily be far more lethal than the coronavirus itself.

We gotta be very smart about how we handle this. Unfortunately "smart" is in short supply, especially among state governors.

As Richard Preston pointed out in his chilling account (Crisis in the Red Zone) of the 1976 Ebola outbreak in Zaire, "nature often does whatever is necessary in order to make the most experts wrong."

Former FDA Chief Exposes China and W.H.O
BY SONS OF 1776 APRIL 13, 2020
The United States and much of the world has suffered for months, thanks to the virus outbreak. Our country has faced unprecedented panic, shutdowns, and pain. Millions around the globe are sick, with billions more being punished. Now, a former Trump official is setting the record straight.

Plenty of claims have been made over the last two months about COVID-19. In late February, early March, some “experts” warned it was a plague that would wipe out millions. Others said it was no worse than the flu. Now we are seeing data to suggest many more people have the disease than originally thought, suggesting its less deadly than feared (and that social distancing restrictions are not affective).

What we do know for a fact is that the United States pushed extreme measures based on wild predictions. Local and state governments shut down our communities. Children’s educations have been ruined. Businesses might never come back. Three hundred and twenty million Americans have suffered, thanks to the government’s response to this disease.

The fact remains all of this was 100% avoidable. Sure, we can blame Congress for wasting valuable months on a bogus impeachment. Yes, we can (and should) blame the CDC and FDA for refusing to act when they could have (and lying about their ability to contain this threat). And yes, we must hold the media accountable for how they hyped up this disease, leading to panic shopping and wiped out grocery shelves.

But the real blame rests on China. You’ll be hearing this a lot in the coming weeks and months, but it needs to be said. China is at fault for the suffering of billions, worldwide. And one of Trump’s former officials is breaking it down.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, criticized the World Health Organization and the Chinese government on Sunday, saying that both stymied the global response to the novel coronavirus, likely allowing it to spread more dramatically across the globe…

“Had they been more truthful with the world, which would have enabled them to be more truthful with themselves, they might have actually been able to contain this entirely.”

Gottlieb… said that the Chinese government delayed sharing two vital pieces of information that would have allowed other nations to prevent the spread of coronavirus: evidence that coronavirus could transmit through human-to-human contact and live samples of the virus…

Chinese officials were tracking outbreaks of coronavirus in Wuhan in December 2019 and knew that the virus displayed human-to-human transmission. Had international officials known that the virus transmitted in that manner, they likely would have been better prepared for a possible pandemic. [Source: Daily Caller]

China knew the virus spread easily from among people back in December. But as late as January 20, they (and WHO) claimed it could not be spread human-to-human. Had we known that back then, we could have been better prepared. The ridiculous “social distancing” rules were a knee-jerk reaction to the fact that the virus spread so easily. If we knew better, perhaps we could have just used face masks?

Gottlieb went on to say that we could have could have been an “entirely avoidable world event,” had China done its job.

Beijing also refused to share live strains of the virus, which delayed testing and possible treatment. Damn, where these guys trying to ruin the world? Did they want the planet to turn on them? How could an entire country mess up so badly, then go out of their way to make things worse?

But that’s what you get from a communist dictatorship. There is zero accountability in China. Their fear of “losing face” resulted in the death and suffering of billions.

The only question now is, what are we going to do about it? Will the United States hold the communist nation accountable? Or will we let China off the hook once again?

Amid the coronavirus pandemic and Communist China’s New Cold War with the United States, the World Health Organization (WHO) has served as a puppet for the Chinese Communist Party.

That’s why I called for a Congressional investigation into the WHO – what they knew, when they knew it and how they failed the world.

American taxpayers are the largest contributor to the WHO budget. There needs to be accountability for their failures and their willingness to help China hide the coronavirus from the world.

GORDON G. CHANG: TRUMP RIGHT TO ATTACK WHO ON CORONAVIRUS – UN AGENCY DESERVES EVEN HARSHER CRITICISM

WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, was Beijing’s pick for the position. During his campaign for the Director-General, he delivered a keynote speech at China’s Peking University where he discussed ways China could expand its influence in Africa, helping him win support from the Chinese.

Tammy Bruce: WHO chief is the problem, not TrumpVideo
After he was elected, he promised to exclude Taiwan from the WHO, and held meetings to discuss how the WHO could support China’s economic expansionist Belt and Road initiative.

It is no surprise, then, that Tedros, who has a history of covering-up viral outbreaks, is now using the WHO to shill for Beijing.

In December 2019, doctors in Wuhan tried to report an outbreak of an unknown illness, which was already spreading quickly. On January 1st, the Chinese Communist Party made a decision that would spark a global pandemic—it censored the doctors, threatened them, and forced them to recant their “rumors” about a new virus. They ordered lab doctors studying the virus to destroy all its samples and instructed them not to release their findings.

For the next three weeks, Chinese health officials repeatedly lied about the virus’s ability to spread from one human to another, allowing the 11 million residents of Wuhan to freely travel around the world.

Bret Baier on WHO criticism amid coronavirus pandemicVideo
While the Chinese Communist Party was falsely claiming COVID-19 could not spread from one human to another, and the world was learning about China’s censorship of doctors and journalists who tried to share information about the virus, the WHO consistently praised the leadership of General Secretary Xi.

Tedros referred to China’s response as a “notable achievement” and a demonstration of “China’s increased capacity to manage new outbreaks.” He praised Xi’s “transparency” and indicated how “impressed” he was by the detail of China’s work.

Victor Davis Hanson: After coronavirus — will America be a roaring giant or crying baby?
Bradley Blakeman: Rebuilding after coronavirus – this is how we invest in America
James Carafano: After coronavirus — We still need Europe and they need us. Here's what has to happen
Even after coronavirus had spread to five other countries, and admitting there was an “emergency” in China, Tedros waited a week before declaring a global public health emergency. In that one week, the coronavirus spread to 18 different countries and the number of cases increased tenfold.

On February 20th, during the Munich Security Conference, after China’s early censorship about coronavirus had already been reported and documented, and only days before China expelled three American journalists for critical coverage of Xi’s handling of the pandemic, Tedros reiterated his praise for the Chinese Communist Party. He said he was “encouraged” by China’s efforts which “bought the world time.”

World Health Organization under fire for alleged pro-China biasVideo
What’s more, the WHO has used its position and its platform to parrot Chinese propaganda and deny the sovereignty of Taiwan. In March, Dr. Bruce Aylward, an aide to Tedros, was asked if the WHO would consider Taiwan’s membership application. Aylward cowardly bowed the knee to Beijing, pretended he couldn’t understand the question, and abruptly ended the interview. After return to the interview, he even went so far as to imply that Taiwan was part of China.

The World Health Organization failed the world. These tragic months revealed a deep-seated corruption within the organization.

The United States is the largest contributor to the WHO, giving more than $1.5 billion since 2016. Congress appropriated this money with the understanding that the WHO is supposed to focus on world health. Unfortunately, the WHO spends more time kowtowing to Communist China and General Secretary Xi.

I have called for an immediate congressional hearing, along with a full investigation, to determine if the United States should continue to spend millions in taxpayer dollars to fund an organization that willfully parrots propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party.

I am working with the Chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Ron Johnson, to get this critical hearing done quickly. Whether we cut funding or tie future funding to certain changes in the organization, we have to take action.

Things would be changing far more quickly had testing been ramped up to the degree this country could have easily done. The CDC has kept testing down to a fraction of what could have been happening a long time ago. Labs have been blocked from developing and doing tests. With support every lab doesn't have to invent their own thing, they use accepted protocols like the CDC was offered back in February from the World Health Organization.

CA and NY, with possibly the two most liberal governors in the country and representing a huge part of our economy could damage most of the country. CA is already a socialist haven. They are putting homeless up in hotel rooms. How long can that continue before the hotels want the rooms for other paying customers? How long can the state continue to pay for this and what do they do with them after the pandemic ends and these homeless have nowhere else to go but back on the streets. The socialists in Sacramento will find a way to raise more taxes to put the homeless in some kind of temporary home.

Yes, Preston wrote The Hot Zone.

The idiot in the governor's mansion in Carson City, NV shut down the state. This closed all of Nevada's casinos, putting nearly a quarter million of his voters out of work. The Sin City strip is dark, it is a ghost town. $4.7 billion per month in lost economic activity.

The lesson the liberals are learning is brutal and they are going to pay dearly for their insanity.

Just think of all the billions of dollars people aren't losing, heck, the money saved in prostitutes alone is substantial.

I'm afraid we can do without casinos and hookers for awhile, who knows, maybe people will get used to saving the money.

Perhaps one thing that can actually help American workers return to jobs and remain there is to STOP Congress and big business from bringing in more foreign workers, period. Then we could also end the unemployment craziness just implemented by Congress and put each and every ablebodied American citizen into a job, even helping them move, if necessary, for the job. Then, if we could put a permanent end to any foreign, non-US citizens having any access to ANY type of public assistance including any welfare service, Social Security/disability/Medicare, free medical care, special ID cards issued by our IRS allowing income tax filing and big refunds, using our own legal system against us to avoid deportation or get undeserved asylum or refuge, and an end, permanently, to ANY freebies of any sort just becsuse of birthing a child in the USA. As long as the interests of foreigners and US big business are placed way ahead of the interests of Americans and our country's future, our economy will never have any security for anyone except the wealthy elites, because combining our ever-growing national debt, the constant foolish spending of our congresses, and the constant addition of 2-3 million new scamming foreigners annually and giving most almost all the rights and benefits of citizens without any of the responsibilities can lead only to eventual collapse and failure of the USA.
