I have found nothing so far (other than supposition) to support your premise...

This bickering between like minded people is EXACTLY what got il duce cuomo elected in the 1st place ! Cardinal Dolan has reacted in opposition. I've come across," Americans United for Life." Look up, "National Catholic Register" for more info. That's what I'm going to do when I've brought in wood & started shoveling our new snow fall in N. Y.

I must admit, I have all to do, to not descend into hatred of people like Andrew Cuomo for his signing this Reproductive Rights Bill into law, and those supposedly Catholic politicians, who support barbarities like abortion. As a practicing (I admit I’ve never gotten it right, like all, I continue to be a sinner) Catholic, I believe that these people should be excommunicated. I am ashamed to have to admit that this has happened in the city and state of my birth, New York.

I understand that there is a movement among lay Catholics to have him & his ilk excommunicated. Does anyone know whom I can contact to join in this effort?

Check, "Americans United for Life" for possibly more info. Checking stuff out myself. Catholic, not a very good 1, but I'd never denounce or deny that fact.

Perhaps in the early stage that was true, now however the movement is significantly more than just policy~~ what other socialist policy would you suggest ??
Medicare for all?? No option for independant private choice??Free college?? Paid for by governmen?? How?? More taxation??

The bottom line: The Democratic socialist movement is growing at every level of government.
Plenty more to read..., <snip>

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has grown from 7,000 members to 50,000 since President Trump was elected.

At least 46 Democratic socialist candidates and two DSA-backed ballot measures have won their primaries in 2018, according to a list compiled by the DSA.

Of those, 14 were endorsed by the national DSA chapter (but the other were endorsed by their local chapter.)
Four of their candidates are running for U.S. House; the rest are running for state-level office, like state House, state Senate, and city council.
Some DSA victories this cycle include:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Julia Salazar in New York

James Thompson in Kansas
Rashida Tlaib in Michigan
Sarah Smith in Washington
Four women in Pennsylvania, all backed by the Philly chapter of DSA, won their primaries for state House: Summer Lee and Sara Innamorato both unseated longtime Democratic incumbents, and Elizabeth Fiedler and Kristin Seale won their races.
Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic socialist darling of 2018, has endorsed at least five candidates outside of DSA who have won their primaries, including Ayanna Pressley in Massachusetts, Ben Jealous in Maryland, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, Andrew Gillum in Florida and Ilhan Omar in Minnesota.

The bottom line: The Democratic socialist movement is growing at every level of government.

Go deeper: The Democratic socialist movement comes to Michigan

"Medicare for All" is a winner in Democratic primaries

Progressives to Democrats: Ignore Trump voters, focus on minorities

Correction: This post has been updated to reflect that DSA's 48 victories included two ballot measures, and that their membership is 50,000, not 37,000.

No need, they have excommunicated themselves by their actions. Any churchgoing on their part will be in vain since they have abjured God's law. In addition to the grievous crime of murder of the innocent, Cuomo, Pelosi and others have added the sin of scandal.

What is needed is a movement to get our church leaders, including the Pope, to start taking up their responsibility for the moral welfare of their flock. They must speak and condemn with authority, the evil that has been perpetrated.

We, as a nation, have turned our backs on God. I shudder to think of what evil may befall us because of our culture and behavior. Sodom and Gommorah were utterly destroyed for far less.

Thanks for the laugh...

My father claims he isn't racist 'cause he dislikes the french as much as any colored group... He is dead serious too..

In another life our 缘分 will be different

And, if I'm being completely honest, the topic deserves some outrage...

Have a good day in court...
I remember your lawyer jokes now...

Hear ye, hear ye all! The courts in America shall all close down because it is wrong to judge. Heretofore there is no right or wrong, good or evil except what each individual personally feels and keeps to themselves. Besides, anarchy might not be so bad. We should hang our heads in shame for what we did to Hitler.

I agree. Some situations justify abortion, but doesn't justify the fanaticism on both sides.
Most for abortion are just irresponsible and self-centered.
Many against it are very judgmental.
Still human life demands giving the fetus a chance, not just an opportunity to have uncontrolled sex

There are far fewer risks with allowing nature to take its course. With a dead fetus, the body will make the uterus less subject to injury with expulsion.

How's that for an answer?
