I am ashamed to have to admit that this has happened in the city and state of my birth, New York.

I understand that there is a movement among lay Catholics to have him & his ilk excommunicated. Does anyone know whom I can contact to join in this effort?

Perhaps in the early stage that was true, now however the movement is significantly more than just policy~~ what other socialist policy would you suggest ??
Medicare for all?? No option for independant private choice??Free college?? Paid for by governmen?? How?? More taxation??

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has grown from 7,000 members to 50,000 since President Trump was elected.

At least 46 Democratic socialist candidates and two DSA-backed ballot measures have won their primaries in 2018, according to a list compiled by the DSA.

Of those, 14 were endorsed by the national DSA chapter (but the other were endorsed by their local chapter.)
Four of their candidates are running for U.S. House; the rest are running for state-level office, like state House, state Senate, and city council.
Some DSA victories this cycle include:

Rashida Tlaib in Michigan
Sarah Smith in Washington

Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic socialist darling of 2018, has endorsed at least five candidates outside of DSA who have won their primaries, including Ayanna Pressley in Massachusetts, Ben Jealous in Maryland, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, Andrew Gillum in Florida and Ilhan Omar in Minnesota.

No need, they have excommunicated themselves by their actions. Any churchgoing on their part will be in vain since they have abjured God's law. In addition to the grievous crime of murder of the innocent, Cuomo, Pelosi and others have added the sin of scandal.

What is needed is a movement to get our church leaders, including the Pope, to start taking up their responsibility for the moral welfare of their flock. They must speak and condemn with authority, the evil that has been perpetrated.

We, as a nation, have turned our backs on God. I shudder to think of what evil may befall us because of our culture and behavior. Sodom and Gommorah were utterly destroyed for far less.
