This is why he's in court. I well remember before election day, folks like you saying that not only was Trump finished, but that the Republican Party was destined to be a footnote in history. Then Trump became President and the GOP held onto both Houses of Congress. I mean I do expect your party to make political gains in the midterms because history demands it. To say that Trump is destroying the Republican Party is a little premature. Trump is tied to his party less than most Presidents.

If your boys and girls take both houses of Congress they will have to decide how to use the two years before the next election. They have ginned up the hatred of their insane base to expect impeachment. Is that the best use of their new majority when in two years they will have another shot at the White House ? Not as easy a question as you may think. Trump can also veto anything they dare to pass. Either they can make deals with him or they can impeach him. If you think we Republicans were royally pissed at our party for not standing up to Obama, well I think you guys will be surprised at the compromises your idiots will make to Trump.

“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort’s bank fraud,” Ellis told prosecutors on Friday, according to The Washington Post. “You really care about getting information Mr. Manafort can give you that would reflect on Mr. Trump and lead to his prosecution or impeachment.”

According to a report from The Daily Caller journalist Saagar Enjeti, Judge Ellis went even further and openly scoffed at the prosecution’s insistence that decade-old tax issues had anything to do with the special counsel’s mission.

“He summed up the Special Counsel’s Office as, ‘We said this was what (the) investigation was about but we are not bound by it and we were lying,'” Enjeti explained. At one point, the judge apparently stopped taking Mueller’s team seriously, responding “C’mon man!” to their unconvincing argument....
