No insult was intended, it was just a general observation and impression I had as I read your piece. History appears to me to be not exactly as I learned it in school because it was written mostly by the "victors," but I certainly do not want to see it develop under socialism, as the liberal revisionist desire it to be.
I was not a career military person not there but one tour, but what I did while I was there was and still is classified and I cannot and will not discuss it with you or anyone else; most of the socialist MSM appear to want the government to telegraph, through them of course, our military and political strategies to our enemies. Loose lips sink ships, and our Ship of State is no different in that respect.
I've been employed by 10 different employers. I've been retired for over a decade, from the two different and major companies. There is nothing spectacular about my life; I have a couple of degrees and worked most of my life in technical and engineering disciplines. I've also taught technical subjects in both Tech School and University environments.
I'm not a Democrat, nor a Republican, and tend to be of a Nationalist and Constitutionalist nature; in other words, I love my country, but think it has far too many frivolous laws on the books! The vast number of laws causes us to be a "country of outlaws" because no one can possibly remember every law and manages to violate at least two or three a day. The Oath of Allegiance I took back in the military is still in the forefront of my mind, and, unlike many of our younger US citizens and most illegals, I love and believe in my country, my flag, the Office of the President, and my race (human), and would fight and die for it as it was created and intended to be, not as the Communists are trying to fundamentally change it into, some tyrannical pipe-dream Utopia under a NWO.
I also think we stick our liberal "collective" noses into far too many so-called "non-profit" charitable endeavors both foreign and domestic, and we should refrain from supporting those who tend to only like us while we are giving them money and benefits that they mostly don't deserve. To continue to support them only promotes more of them with rather obtuse attitudes, takes more and more of our vast, but limited, financial resources, and eventually our now bankrupt country that is living large on credit, smoke and mirrors will find itself in position to be taken over as collateral in a massive foreclosure by our foreign creditors who finally tire of carrying this bunch of freeloaders.
I see NO good reason to support these leaches particularly when, as a country, we have to borrow more money to do it, but can barely afford to pay the interest on the loan, and then add more to the principal to pay for additional unconstitutional benefit programs, higher Congressional Salaries for less work accomplished, along with their luxury vacations, luxury living facilities, Premium booze, and "Party" expenses! Never paying on the principal, and adding to it each year to run the country, will NEVER retire the loan, and the increasing interest on the additional money added to the principal will continue to increase the interest owed; I've heard we are now even having to borrow funds to pay the interest! Not a good situation. A $23B National Debt that is climbing exponentially is more than a bit much to lay on the shoulders of my great grandchildren for this kind of "Socialist Vote for a Living" vs "Conservative Work for a Living," open borders, multilingual, multicultural, diversified (hyphenated-racial, politically, and dis-United as a country), politically correct, no-tolerance, thin-skinned, violent, constant-conflict, BIG ME - little you, what's in it for me attitude," left-leaning Socialist BS!
The Constitution and Bill of Rights grants us the "Right" to "Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT of Happiness," but it does NOT guarantee that your "Pursuit" will result in your ever attaining "Happiness," particularly without any effort on your part! It is time to get back to what our Founders left us "in charge of, if we can keep it!" The word "democracy" never appears in our founding documents; we are a Republic, and we are failing in our duties to our Republic and need to remedy this. The Constitution and Bill of Rights up to Amendment XI give us all we really need, if we leave out the Constitutional Lawyers who continually attempt to interpret it to their advantage, not the country's advantage.
I hope the above satisfies your curiosity about me. Have a nice day.
