Not blind at all, why can't you talk about any issue without bringing up party lines, simply shows you're true intention which is to malign a party, attaching the word socialists to it, keep pressing that lie down peoples throats, say a lie often enough and the weak minded will believe it.

Are you one of the college grads on here? If so, is there a chance that you got ripped? I see that you don't know how to use the forms of you, your, you're etc. Surely college grads can't take good care of small children if they can't use the language. Of course, if you read here at all you have seen a number of left leaners that can't use those words. Were you trained that way in your indoctrination?

You have been defeated,,,,,,,,once again. You, as usual are just spouting talking points. I asked for specifics. More rhetoric but no substance from you as per your usual.

Put your money where your mouth is, show me the economic upswing that was headed on its own before Obama...I'd like to see that. You're full of shite. They're not talking points just simple facts, not your alternative facts. Bush and the GOP tanked the country and we landed in the ditch just as Obama described, God help us you guys have the keys to the car again...as Bette said..."fasten your seatbelts it's going to be a bumpy night"

You want specifics, the final report on the effects of the stimulus, it improved 42,000 miles of road, fixed or replaced 2,700 bridges, and bought more than 12,000 transit vehicles. It cleaned up water supplies, created the school reforms of the Race to the Top program, and greatly expanded the use of renewable energy and broadband Internet service. From the Congressional Budget Office.

Rarely do I make that typing error but you're right I did that time, thank you for pointing it out to me if it makes you feel good. Just so you know I didn't agree with having to force daycare workers to be college educated, but I guess you were so enthralled to put down someone you consider on the left, you missed that. It was nice speaking with you, "you're" a real pleasure.

LOL! You surely are a loon if you thought the things you mentioned which are quite subjective were a gd bang, as they say, for the buck. Try some simple math. You're a waste of economic time. I truly don't think you get it.

What is their salary after securing such degree?? Who will be able to afford it after as well?? What person is going to be satisfied being a care giver after spending thousands in schooling??

I can see daycare providers needing to have CPR and others such safety measures in place in the event of an emergency but a college degree is an unrealistic requirement..

If they are teaching pre-K classes those people are typically licensed to do so by the state so I’m not sure what this proposed bill is intended to do.. I’d like to read it thats for sure..

The negative consequences seem to outweigh the benefits..Most of the classes daycare workers will be forced to take are irrelevant to caring for children anyway.. caring for children is live, patience, safety and common sense..

This appears an over reach and unconstitutional.. Having an associates degree is going to change what in caring for a child.??

They have Early Childhood Education Degrees, they deal with infant to 3rd grade.

What is the pay for someone who has one these degrees? It depends on the Childcare center that hires them.

In some child care centers it's $10 an hour, in others it can be $13 or more an hour depending on how upscale they are, and how many years experience the person has working in the field (just like any job in that respect).

The cost to place a child in those centers is upwards of $160 a week per child above the age of 2. An infant can range about $180 to $190 a week, and then of course many of these places do give discounts if you have more than one child going there.

One of my daughters got this degree, was recently offered a job paying $15 an hour, she's been working in daycare centers since she was in High School, while taking an Early Childhood Education program there. Both of my daughters worked at the school daycare after school hours, the day care at their school was for school board employees. My other daughter went on to get her Elementary Education degree.

In other states the pay might be different.

The curriculum is designed to provide a practical hands-on application approach to understanding early childhood education. Students must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours, of which 60 hours are lower division general education courses, and in the upper division, 24 hours of professional core educational courses, and 36 hours of major concentration educational courses. Both the professional core and major concentration areas are challenging as students are required to have fingerprinting and background checks and complete over 150 hours of field work in a VPK through third grade setting.

Students are also required to develop a professional portfolio and pass three Florida Teacher Certification Exams (GK, PED, & PK-3). The Capstone of the B.S. program is a student teaching internship. Students are assigned a mentor and are required to complete a full semester, full day, full week (M-F) internship at an accredited public or private primary (K-grade 3) school.

So young kids need to be properly trained by college students that were properly trained in college?

Yep; make sure the lefties have a final programming, before they continue the programming.
This is wht the Federal government nmust be thrown out of educating our children. No wonder our kids come out of school liberal robots, unless parents can reach them in time to think.

You're right, he hasn't gotten anything done in the last 16 months for this Country. What a miserable job he has done. The libs are so happy with his total failures. I know you are so happy with how he, the President is failing miserly in trying to bring the Country back together, like in Michigan.

Keep doing the corn hole thing, aka the 50's and you'll be fine. Mike

Teabag, was this meant for me and if so how does it relate to my comment on BO??

I support President Trump who has gotten this country up and running, as well as staying true to his campaign promises etc.. His accomplishments in spite of the left is truly commendable !!

Please clarify...

You are talking BS/BA, I think the requirement of this program was only AA degree. I am sure that everyone working in the daycare will not be required to have a degree.

No, it was the obstruction from the GOP that made it move at a snail's pace, they succeeded in their endeavors, good job. Showing the upswing under Obama is proven, which is why he was also re-elected, though the GOP in all their efforts tried to make him their so-called"lame duck president" have you forgotten those words and intentions.

Exactly what obstruction and exactly how did it impact ?

She can't tell you. She spouts left wing opinion pieces as gospel. Don't think she knows any better. I even take my own researched facts with a grain of salt when it comes to economics. Put five of them in a room and tell them they can't come out until they all agree on an economic model they'll starve to death.
