My wife's girl friend was raped when she was in college and when the guy got up to go to the bathroom she pulled out her S&W .38 and put 6 bullets in him 5 of which were just for good measure. Now myself I would prefer a 12 gauge loaded with buck shot though a .38 would make less of a mess.

Reality Check: 41 states have now passed either "shall issue" concealed carry permit laws, or "constitutional carry".
That leaves you with perhaps 9, you will have to "convert" at least 25 of those 41.
Any chance that you may have had, went down the drain long ago.

Booby, our founding fathers gave us the 2nd amendment in case a tyrant government ever got in power. And it's also great for home protection. By the way the shooting in a Church in Southerland Springs,Texas that killed 26 people was stopped by a barefooted man with a AR15 or the gunman could have killed everybody in the Church. If I really wanted to kill my mother in law, and didn't have a gun, I could use my car, baseball bat, knife, poison, bare hands, push out of a tall building, drown in the bath tub.
