I like all except #3 Cailf and IL are two states that I of that give illegals drivers licenses !

They call ID's driver's licenses even though it doesn't mean you can drive, they are a different color. It would not be that hard to have something that distinguishes whether someone is a citizen or not, and it might be the case.

For the last few elections we have gotten hard ballots in the mail. Early voting actually gives more time to properly validate the votes as far as fraud is concerned. The system needs to be tightened up as far as dead people getting ballots, My wife's mom died a few weeks before the election and got a ballot. Her dad was so straight tore it up. He was an accountant, he was so straight he made my wife (before I met her) clam the $300 a month she got from a room mate in her house. When she told me that I told her I refused to have an accountant that was that straight doing my taxes. I knew a guy that stuck to the laws but was very creative

Yep and notice who were the blue states. In Illinois basically the whole state was red except 3 or 4 counties going blue. Of course one of those counties was cook, which contains Chicago the home of voter fraud and patronage. Screwed the whole state, as usual. Ugh so sick of it. I never could understand any LEGAL rationale behind the whole no ID required to vote. Serves no purpose that I can see other than to create ease of fraud.

That said the real fraud is with bogus counts that have no way of being checked.

Any and all possibilities need to be negated.

O.K. I’ll go first.

1). No early voting except for 70 and older, disabled, and military.
2). Paper ballots. (English only)
3). Photo I. D., such as drivers license. No exceptions.
4). Election Day, to be declared a national holiday. No excuses to not be able to get off work and vote.

Driver's license not acceptable...California just gave them to illegals. Need Voter ID card that has been checked thoroughly to prove citizenship...
Election holiday???? Polls are open long enough...

I agree about the ID. Still want election holiday. Most fundamental right we have. If we had the holiday no need for all that early voting crap.

Had to add on since original because I was kinda putting things down that are common sense but the good people of OPP reminded me just how much things have changed. Such as illegals getting drivers licenses. What a world.

Right there with you!
Add~ prove of residency too, not just what's on your license..

All voters regardless of party affiliation should be able to vote in primaries as well.. The fact they may be an independabt should have no relevance and in not allowing them to vote the law on such is discriminatory!!

Voting laws should be uniform in federal regulation with all states required to follow it.. A states person I am but do believe stream lining to a uniform standard is needed...

It is quite simple really. In order to vote, you must first be a US Citizen. Second, you should be required to prove you are a US Citizen. Third, the integrity of the voting process must be able to be audited and verified. The whole concept of electronic voting without the ability to establish an audit trail leaves the system open to tampering, hacking, and distrust in the system. Fourth, and in relation to point #3, the voter's picture should be taken, and or a fingerprint matched to the voting entry to insure that any attempt to cast an illegal vote could easily be prosecuted.

Now let's see the howl of protests from the left claiming that there is no problem with illegal voting, and that all these suggestions are simply a means to disenfranchise the left, and minority voters.

Oh, and BTW, you can get a clear idea how many feel on this subject by searching OPP for "Illegal Voting", and this is the result you will get.

Agree totally with your listing below.
Question. How can reasonable people criticize a system which should first and foremost verify the validity of the voter?

Many don’t want Legitimacy, they just want the vote!!
