How many school-shootings in January alone? That's okay? Hey, it's just an unfortunate consequence of my obsession with freedom, my 2nd Amendment rights? How many accidental shootings where children are killed? Why not just a national law mandating basic safety measures and consequences for their violation? Twenty-six states do not even care if you know how to shoot or have safety rules for ownership. At least that one concession would save hundreds of lives each year and thousands of injuries. It is stupid not to make this universal. There is no violation of freedom, only a protection for users of that freedom.

Geeeeze!!! Look beyond your fear just a little. We already have those laws, and more! Laws only affect the law abiding.

In this apple and oranges ridiculous conversation, what is your point?

For a year now I've been reading your useless and irrational banter. You are akin to a persistent cough or urinary tract infection, just when you think it's gone, bam, here you are again. Point being, we aren't putting down our guns. I've been carrying 10 yrs and have never fired or pulled my weapon, not even on a rabid demonrat. Gettin a freaking hobby and a life, maybe kevy and permi would join you in a 3some.

Guns are a tenth century Chinese invention. 11 centuries later they are more widespread than ever. Only a complete fool would think that government can effect a change for the good. Lock up the criminials , as you write, not the 2Nd amendment..

The first mention of gunpowder is from a man named Wei Boyang in the year 142 AD. 158 years later, a Chin dynasty scientist named Ge Hong wrote down the ingredients of gunpowder and described the explosion.

The invention of cannon preceded by a century that of small-arms, and it was by a gradual reduction in the size of the former that the latter were produced. There is speculation about earlier use of cannon but there is evidence of their use during the hundred years' war at the battle of Crécy, Normandy, in 1346.

The first recorded use of a hand-held firearm was in 1364.

The 10th century Chinese invention was the rocket. The use of gunpowder to propel a projectile was the invention of the European warring kingdoms in the 14th century.

Here, this is a timeline:

So how do you plan on stopping people from making slam guns? I like them they work and are cheap to build,no serial numbers, cannot be traced. Check them out on YouTube. Love 'em.

How many times have you written this hysterical rant attempting to put a guilt trip on all gun owners? We feel absolutely no guilt! You are a pacifist and believe that there is no reason to ever shoot or kill anyone. You have stated this many times. Your ultimate objective is to take our guns away from us! Everything that you have stated is a lie or just your opinion. You cannot nor have you ever backed anything that you have stated with actual facts or any kind of truth. No new law will stop a kid from obtaining a gun if their mind is made up to kill other kids. They will get one from a family member or steal one. The problem is NOT the gun it is the kid. Nothing will ever change until the left accepts this and takes steps to help these troubled kids!

Why don’t you put this much effort into stopping the murder of millions of babies through abortion. You preach love of enemy but say nothing about love of innocent unborn babies. It seems to me that you’re more interested in pushing your views than actually teaching about the love that Jesus had for ALL his children, including the unborn!

My point is children killed. You scream bloody murder when children are killed with guns, but you condone the murder of babies in the womb.

The NRA prefers to find ways to reduce the killing, not only of unborn babies, but of men, women and children. This is why the NRA has so many programs to train people, including children, in all areas of shooting and the responsibilities of gun safety and ownership.

There are plenty of mandated laws and penalties put in place. The Federal Government at whose feet you worship (as long as Liberal Democrats are in charge) refuses to enforce them, the same way they refuse to enforce immigration law. Like most Liberals, your answer to unenforced laws are more unenforced laws that do nothing but penalize the law abiding. In 2013, the instant background check championed by the NRA you so despise caught more than 76,000 proscribed people attempting to purchase guns from FFL dealers. The Federal Government at whose feet your worship (and which you shower with adoration most people reserve for Deity prosecuted less than 100 of these cases and got less than 30 convictions. Not that it matters in your pursuit of reality avoidance.

Gun safety used to be taught in schools. Not since Liberals had it banned and then complained about the lack of safety training among younger people.

Now that you mention it, Loki, when I went to school in a small western town, from about 8th grade up, we took our 22s and 410 shotguns to school, stored them in an unlocked coat closet so we could go rabbit hunting or target shooting after school. We went out without any adults to supervise, sometimes on foot, sometimes on horseback. Often there were 10 youngsters out there in the boonies with guns, a small army of kids having a great time. Funny thing, during all those treks, no one was ever injured or killed. Our fathers and mothers were all shooters and they taught us well.

That is possibly the dumbest most idiotic anti-second amendment post I have ever read. Guess what, there is danger in freedom. Just yesterday a Democrat illegal alien murdered an UNARMED man for getting on him for public urinating. So the ILEGAL ALIEN murdered this innocent man with a knife. If you do not like it here, by all means pack up and fcking move. Your anti-Bill of Rights rant is nothing but BS. It's been this way for 250 years! You can leave, we will stay.

I want you to prove to all of us right this very minute, how your gun laws/gun confiscation would stop crime and murder, we are all waiting!
