Bang the mud with your wing feathers all you want, but the truth remains.. most wars this country has had to slog through- including the War Between the States- were wars brought on by democrats... and then usually finished by republicans. Truman.. well, Truman was much more of a conservative republican than a WA modern democrat, for sure.
Another load of crap, just the opposite again, Where did you learn your bias history from comrade?
The civil war brought on by Abraham Lincoln...Republican.
WW1 was brought on by a correspondence from the Germans known as the Zimmermann Telegram, stating the proposal of a military alliance between Germany and Mexico in the prior event of the United States entering World War I against Germany,
and to aid them regaining the territories of New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. It also stated the Germans' decision to resume the policy of unrestricted submarine warfare.
This is something that could have gone terribly wrong if Wilson had never acted, instead after the Germans launched a huge offensive attack and failed they sent a note for a plea for peace, all still under a democratic president.
Again in WWII, we tried to avoid a war under a democratic president, but well known to Americans after Pearl Harbor, we had no choice. Were we victorious once again? Yes, under a democratic presidency.
Then there was the Iraqi war, brought by Republicans, victorious under democratic President...Obama.
Wars are brought on in a reactive response. I wouldn't fault a political party for the cause. Not so far anyway, with Trump, that may be a different story.
